Breakfast was not free. Fuel, where you could purchase breakfast items was super crowded. Only plus is they do order ahead on the app. Breakfast sandwiches were not hot. Would recommend to NOT have a room in the east wing on the even side of the hall. All night constant hum of AC units and some type of construction noise. While we did know the room offered only double beds, that was an error on our part. Mattress not very comfortable. Pillows were uncomfortable as well. Parking is another story! Self park at Dolphin is extremely limited. Advised to park at Swan and take the shuttle back. This will still cost you $38/day. $50 resort fee is egregious if you are staying only one night. Who has time to use the fitness/fitness classes "included". We would not stay here again.

We stayed at the Walt Disney Dolphin Resort for a Nationals dance competition my daughter was in that was hosted by the hotel. The hotel itself was beautiful and the staff were friendly. They do need more dining options that are more economical for families. The self-parking during this competition was awful. I don’t think they were prepared for the number of people that were attending. I would definitely stay here again, outside of a dance completion.

Our stay was great overall. Clean room, comfortable beds, wonderful view from our room. My only complaint is the parking situation. The hotel charges $38 a day for self parking, but they do not guarantee you a parking spot if you leave and come back. I think that for that price they should at least guarantee your spot at anytime.

I’ve been coming to the Dolphin for over 20 and even though we enjoy the convenience…it’s time for a refurbishment. We also didn’t have any hot running water in our bathroom sink. I notified the front desk on 3 separate occasions and nothing was ever fixed. They claimed that they notified operations, but nothing. Also, the $50 resort fee and $38 self parking fee is ridiculous.

This resort has everything you need. Multiple pools, great variety of restaurants, and an arcade with a few bowling lanes. You can walk between the Dolphin and Swan Resorts. You can also walk to Disney’s board walk. There is also access to the fairy that will take you to Epcot. Would definitely stay here again!

The Dolphin is a convenient hotel for a Disney vacation. All parks are accessible via walking, water taxi or shuttle bus. The hotel is spacious, clean and all the staff were helpful and polite. The pool was large with plenty of sun lounges. The choice of casual and fine dining was great. Plenty of choice and all food was delicious.

We love staying at the Dolphin, but Very unhappy about the parking situation. They have built a huge convention area taking up their whole parking area which forces you to park either at The Reserve, The Swan or all the way out at The Magic Kingdom with shuttling from there. No acceptable.

The resort fee seems very steep for what added extras youre supposed to get. We also had to pay for parking on top of this fee. Nice to be in the disney bubble for a change instead of a villa, with the August heat, easy to get back to the pool, cool off then go back

Our door keys would not work and had to have security to open door. Staff stated we would have to get them each time we wanted in.Never offered a way out. Turns out it was computer system failure. The staff at one of the restaurants stood around while one waitress took care of everything. They even talked bad about her and we overheard them. The bathroom tub had hair all over it so I had to clean it at 1am to take a shower. The hotel was having a dance competition and the kids were walking up to the ice cream bar using the same spoon to get ice cream over and over and dipping it in the toppings bar. Staff did not care.

Great location and friendly staff. We had a little upgrade to a resort view which was very cool. The kids loved watching the boats from the room. Only downside is that our bathroom smelled like mildew. We told the staff and they re-cleaned the bathroom. Smell still lingered, might be in the shower curtain or walls. Also, the beds are doubles instead of queens, just a little small. We enjoyed the property and our stay. We will come back again. I will book the balcony room next time for a bit more space. Short walk to boardwalk and Epcot!

Let’s be real. The Swan and Dolphin hotels are part of the collection of old school Disney hotels that, while iconic and timeless in a certain way, are also pretty dated and in need of a facelift (think Contemporary and Polynesian). But as a Marriott property it’s also a bit different, right? Some updates are needed. Also, it feels very “Marriott-y” in the Dolphin and I think they could do better to meld with the Disney vibe. The room was quiet and we had a great view. The shower curtain stunk like mildew which was gross. Hopefully that was a one-off. We got a great deal on the room last minute and overall it was a good experience for a list minute vacation. The location is top notch. So, if you’re on the fence, just go for it!

So this hotel setting is amazing.. perfect distance from Epcot, grand fountains, excellent food, close to the boardwalk and seconds from a fun boat ride. I rarely leave negative reviews, but our stay at the Walt Disney World Dolphin was full of unnecessary stress and disappointing service. Self parking felt like a bait and switch. We paid $40 for self-parking, only to return and find no spots available. We were told to either valet for $50 (plus tip) or park 10 minutes away. After pushing back, valet parked our car at the $40 rate—but only because we spoke up. The three people in line ahead of us weren’t offered this and likely paid full valet. Guests next to us got credits for the same problem—we weren’t offered anything. Thunderstorms closed the pools and all outdoor resort activities, yet the full resort fee was still charged. I understand the weather isn’t their fault, but if the main amenities are inaccessible, guests shouldn’t be billed as if they were available. Two people knocked quickly and then walked directly into our room early in the morning without waiting for a response or announcing who they were. We weren’t notified of any maintenance or housekeeping, and no one followed up. That is a complete breach of privacy and safety. we dealt with booking issues, unclear communication, and inconsistent customer service. At this price point, we expected way better.

Overall a good stay. We were 3rd inline to check in and it took 45 minutes. Only 2 front desk clerks upon arrival to line. One agent was with an Asian group and was having issues. The second clerk left after she checked in the group she was working on and it was 15 minutes before someone else came to help. Asked the two spa receptionist if the elevator in front of the Spa door was the correct one for east tower rooms. They said “You’re asking the wrong people “, laughed and went back to chatting. The Coffee shop was amazing with great quick breakfast options. The boat transportation was Awesome!! Everyone except spa employees was kind courteous and helpful. I would’ve booked a spa package but not after the way they interacted when asked a question.

It’s been a few years since we’ve stayed here, but we used to stay almost once a month for frequent Disney trips. I guess they must be doing well. The staff all seem to be used to dealing with cattle instead of humans. Probably won’t return.

Distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios is amazing! A short boat ride away or a short stroll along the Boardwalk to Epcot. Friendly bus drivers to Disney Springs and Magic Kingdom. Fuel is a convenient grab and go type of eatery. Good variety of food, snacks and drinks. Beautiful lobby area with a unique fountain. Nice options for fine dining and a more casual dining atmosphere at the Fountain Diner. Rooms are clean and comfortable with nice views. Quiet elevators. Hotel smells very nice. Front desk staff are professional.

I love this place I stay here every time I come to Disney. Just pre-plan if you are going to magic kingdom. Park transportation from this hotel to magic kingdom was a hassle and took us about an hour or so to arrive back to the hotel after magic kingdom closed. I don’t recommend to stay here if you are going to magic kingdom. Perfect location if you plan on going to Epcot and Hollywood studios.

Had an amazing stay! So grateful was able to check in early when I arrived. Made everything so much easier and able to jump right into my day as I was only in town for 36 hours. I enjoyed this resort very much. I got early check in once I arrived. Staff was very attentive. The dining options were not too great. The in-room dining was more appealing, but I opted out due to the extreme service charge. I enjoyed the amenities, boardwalk, arcade, pool. One thing I would recommend to this company is having better accommodation for transport especially if you are staying at the resort, at least a discounted price, as I used the shuttle for majority of this trip since I am not a Florida native.

We checked in late, 12am to the Dolphin after late hours at Hollywood Studios. We walked over to the resort and went upstairs to just sleep. The room was comfy and se got a good night's sleep. There was a fire alarm being tested at 9am the next morning. We were up, but it was going off again when we got back from Disney Springs. The hotel had so much to offer and looked like so much fun, but we were just there for the one night.

First time staying here. The property is amazing. The staff is amazing and the amenities are amazing. The problem....is that no matter where you book your reservation whether it is directly with the hotel or through a secondary site like Hotels.com, The charges are not the actual charges. In my case, the taxes and resort fees total 41% of the room charge for both nights. So, when you budget for your stay, budget for 1.5x what they say that the room charge is plus parking. Also, the Dolphin is undergoing renovation (9/25-27/2026) and there is very limited parking. So, we either had to valet, $64.97/night or self park at the Swan and walk to the Dolphin, $42.60/night. Just beware of all of these extra charges when booking.

We loved the location, pools, tried coffee shop- good breakfast, comfortable bed, nice water pressure. USB ports were all broken- made it a pain to charge magic bands. Also personal preference: shampoo smells musky which is not my vibe. Would stay again and bring shampoo and usb blocks.

Access to parking vehicle on arrival was difficult, with no clear markings for those checking in. Therefore, attempted to park vehicle in a parking lot, which required a room key. After checking in, I drove vehicle to park in Standard Parking lot, with no available empty spaces. The lot was over parked with vehicles on inappropriate areas within lot. After returning to entry of hotel, we obtained attention of a Luggage attendant, who stated lots are full due to some type of convention today (9-23-26) Only option to leave auto with Valet Service, which we did. Received a green ticket to give to Bell Hop on receiving luggage at assigned room. After more than one hour waiting for luggage in our room, decided to go to Lobby to find BellHop area to inquire of luggage. The attendant present stated, we didn't have your ticket to send luggage to your room. I left them the green ticket given to me by the valet attendant. Poor communication, with additional steps required by a new customer. Why? Luggage arrived within 10 minutes, after returning back to room. Not a way to start your first time experience on Disney properties (The Dolphin). Shared comments on checking out at Front Desk, did receive apology, but no concession on paying for valet services which were not necessary. Parking for new arrivals, who paid in advance, should be planned, accordingly. Unlikely to return to Disney Properties nor purchasing a renewal Annual Pass. Unhappy Disney Supporters
