The hotel was fine, pool was completed recently from the hurricane damage(was gone) beach access was nice, pool was nice staff was nice, the only problem I had was only 1 elevator was working(11floors) big deal I was on the 2nd floor and over a 4 day period I waited multiple times in excess of 20 min( bad ankle) but as I was checking out there was a technician there so it’s probably being fixed soon and I’m not bashing the hotel, all the hotels were hit hard there but while booking there should be a notice stating things like that( lose money yes) but gets fixed faster. I’m diamond status with 7plus brands and all they’re subsidiary hotels(travel for work) I can say the hotel was perfect a 98% it was just the elevator because of my ankles and yes I would book again

Only 1 elevator was working,which was very inconvenient. We were on the tenth floor and my wife and I both have health issues that would make using the stairs challenging. I wish when I made the reservations that the elevator issue would have been made known so I could have made different arrangements.

the free breakfast had minimal choices and what they did have was not good. they had two elevators and only one worked The pool and deck was closed for renovations which they did not mention before we booked the hotel.

Right on the beach. Good breakfast. Pool closed, would have been nice to know about it before booking. They only clean the room every 5 days. Parking lot is tight for larger cars. Chairs on balcony are small and uncomfortable.

The things I did not like is the fact that they did not say the pool was not available, I would be charge for parking and that construction was taking place on the property before the booking. I will not go to another hotel that I have to pay for parking on their on property, for a 5 days 4 nights stay I had a charge of $50 for parking, that is ridiculous.

Property was nice except for the missing pool which needs to be replaced after the recent hurricane. This is the only complaint along with confusing access to the beach. The room was clean, property is nice and excellent breakfast and staff! Beautiful view of the ocean while eating breakfast and while in the common area of the hotel. It was not walkable to Daytona tourist area, but with the car it was not an issue. It was quiet enough and a nice place to stay. If a new pool is installed, it was next to perfect! I would recommend this property and would stay there again. I enjoyed our stay.

My check-in at the hotel was Saturday and I didn't have housekeeping service until Tuesday because I asked for towels and toilet paper by myself. The person who works in that area was very rude and argued with me until I showed her the dirty and wet towels on the floor, that bothered me a lot. The breakfast was not bad and the front desk was very friendly. The hotel has traces of deterioration but it is understandable because it is in front of the beach and the saltpeter does a lot of damage to the property.

Our room was in desperate need of some Cleaning and maintenance. Really dirty carpet ( turned my wife’s feet black and the chair was disgusting. Toilet seat wasn’t fastened to the toilet and the towel hook was upside down on the door so you couldn’t even hang up your towels.

This hotel was infested with cockroaches!! We were first put in room 516 got in .. went and got lunch came back in sat to eat and they were coming out of the ac unit and the dresser.. they moved us to room 817 ..We were in town for a anniversary dinner at another facility. We went to the dinner came back. Went to sleep was awakened by the shadows of the cockroaches climbing the walls .. to this we had to bag up our belongings turn the lights on and try to some what sleep until we were able to drive.. I went down to service desk no one was there . Called down again no one there. When I checked out they gave me managers card tried calling for two days no result.. Hotel.com tried calling for two days the. I got an email stating I would not get a refund for my stay.. thanks for the crappy bug infested stay me having to wash everything not putting my belongings in my vehicle nor bring it into my home.. I would not stay here unless you want some extra guest ms in your room.

This hotel could use an update. The light fixtures in our room were rusty. I don’t think the room was cleaned properly since there was long black hairs on the bathroom counter and I’m blonde. We found three large cockroaches in our room and we saw one when eating breakfast. I didn’t know the pool wasn’t available until latter I booked it (which sucked but understood). The staff were really sweet and nice. If you get to the hotel late there is absolutely no parking so you have to park across the street. Weird since I have to pay a parking fee.

Our room was on the 11th Floor (1115) across from the elevators. We had a spectacular view from the balcony of the ocean and were able to watch surfers and waves. Room was very clean, updated and very large.

Rooms are as well kept as possible, with the hotel being a bit dated and showing the wear and tear of being so close to the ocean.

Great location and view right on the beach. The staff were super friendly. The lobby was very clean and quiet. The elevator needs some cosmetic work and cleaning. Our room door hinges were loose making closing it difficult and a safety concern. I would stay here again for $100/night or less, not worth $200/night that we paid.

The room was nice, great oceanfront view on the 11th floor, breakfast was good! Only 2 minor issues was no ac vent in the bathroom so it was hot in there and we had 2 chairs only. Im not sure if thats what it was supposed to be but either way we enjoyed out stay. The staff was super friendly.

The check in associate was rude and acted like she was being bothered anytime someone came to the counter. She was sitting on a stool in the corner and would answer questions from there if possible. When asked about breakfast and WiFi password she said it’s all on the papers I just gave you. The door to the room would not lock with the deadbolt it looked like the lock had been damaged at some time. There was Alice and dead bugs in the room. There was chipped paint on the bathroom counter and shelves. Towels are stored in the shower. They would get wet if left there while showering. There were additional shelves in the bathroom they could have been placed on. Also, they had an odd odor. The pool is under construction therefore not in usable condition. This is not posted on their listing with Hotel.com.

We loved our stay at this hotel! The entire process was smooth from beginning to end! The staff was kind and welcoming. Our room was clean and we didn't have any issues receiving new items such as towels. The location is perfect, we could not have picked a better spot for all the Ubers and Lyft rides we needed to take! We were expecting a pool but unfortunately there isn't one. However you are right on the beach! I'm waiting for my parking fees to reversed since we didn't bring a vehicle but other than that I would highly recommend this hotel! 5 out 5 stars!

Enjoyed staying here. Right on beach. Very nice breakfast. Nice pools. Beach access from pool. Great views. Get your supplies before you go across the causeway because there is just a 7-11 down the street. Several nice restaurants to eat in the area. I would book again.

Steps from the ocean. Great service, very kind staff. Breakfast was spot on with lots of options. Hotel location was perfect. Close to a bridge for mainland access, yet a ways away from the hustle and bustle of the pier. Room was perfect, opens to a breezeway style hall. Would absolutely stay again.

My first stay at this hotel and it was last minute. They accommodated me well. Front desk provided a quick check-in and the lady was very personable. The room was comfortable and clean. I was told all rooms are oceanfront with a balcony. They are still working on the pool and deck from the last hurricanes. Parking was good. Breakfast had many choices of standard fare. Location is south of the Daytona Beach action.

By far the best pool & patio area on the beach. Steps away from beach or enjoy view on lounge chairs with umbrellas on the patio. Breakfast was amazing. Omelets, sausage, pancake, hot cinnamon rolls, etc. Double queen oceanfront room was very clean & spacious. Awesome view of the sunrise from your balcony! Very peaceful, family oriented hotel. Highly recommend!

The property was convenient, easy to locate, and all of the rooms are ocean view balconies. It was in good shape, relatively clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't use the pool, as it was crowded most of the time. Easy access to the beach and a nice shower to rinse off when coming back in. Downside: At 2:15 AM in the middle of the night I found German roaches on the bathroom wall. One of the two elevators was out of service, leaving one small elevator to manage the entire location of 11 floors. Oftentimes the wait was very long, more than 10-15 minutes and the line was long for the elevator. The breakfast was free, but it was meh.

Holiday Inn express was wonderful. There was a designated gluten-free table and I don’t see that very often! I do not like dealing through Expedia anymore. Somehow they charged Holiday Inn an extra hundred dollars on my bill. Holiday Inn express is getting that back and putting it back on my credit card.

Hotel lobby was bright and cheerful, very clean, B'fast bar area was well maintained, plenty of tables to use, good choice of b'fast items in the morning, very well maintained and clean. Room was large, clean, and great view of the beach and ocean. Pool not restored from last hurricane, but easy access to beach. Staff were polite, friendly, and helped with all questions.
