What a beautiful resort. We were stoked to find this little gem. The grounds are huge and very well kept. There was lots going on as it was the 4th of July weekend. If you're a golfer, check this place out. It was very kid-friendly. Next time I would ask to not be by the family pool as it was on the louder side. There's an adult pool and a pool specifically for spa clients. The Spa pool was gorgeous. Great but small gym. Will definitely go back.

The place was adequate but not mind blowing. I found the common areas a bit dirty, and the food overpriced. The pool was disappointing, small, no wait staff, just a QR code to order food. I was expecting a resort feel but it really felt like it was catered to golfing mostly.

The negative was our bedroom had some questionable splatter on the ceiling above one of the beds, and the nightstand surface and lamp base surface were incredibly dusty. Kinda grossed me out thinking where else did they skimp cleaning. Tried both on site restaurants and pool service. The food was excellent at all three places. We noted on the reservation that we were celebrating our birthdays but nothing happened, it would have been nice to receive a nice card or some small acknowledgment. Overall I’d return, but there are far better hotels in the San Diego area I’d prefer.

The overall condition of the hotel is a bit dated. The patio king room where we stayed was comfortable, clean, and close to the parking lot. The food at the veranda was good and at reasonable prices. The main thing I noticed that the fitness center needs to update the equipment, since it looks very dated with old machines.

The Inn location is lovely. The room was immaculate. The building we stayed in was in need of TLC - wood beams rotten, stairs cracking, stucco cracking, paint chipping, etc. The building is in great need of maintenance. Also, the restaurant decor is obsolete and in need of repair. Now, the food in the restaurant was terrible!! We had breakfast. The pancake breakfast was $20 and the pancakes were horrible; dry, thick, tough. How do you mess up pancakes. The toast was not part of the $21 egg scramble and cost an additional $5. The scramble was watery and undercooked. All the food was cold. Our $60 breakfast was a huge disappointment. Probably won’t stay there again. The JC company that owns the Inn is a rather large company. I would think they would want to invest in the aesthetics of the Inn. Overall, a disappointment and expensive.

Definitely convenient, just beware to not stay on the busy side of the street. We were “upgraded” to a room that faces the pool and backed the steer. Where you could hear the garbage truck. It was definitely not nice of the manager to shove us there on the corner. Properly is a little older, nothing luxurious, but definitely comfortable for families looking for something easy and convenient.

We were greeted in a very rude and discriminatory manner by a valet staff when we were entering the property to check-in. My teenage son and I were stopped by the valet staff and asked several questions about what we’re doing on the property, lastly if we were there to check-in. We are a Latino family with reservations to this hotel. We did not need to be interrogated prior to our check-in. After we checked in to the hotel, and are way to our room, we again asked by the same staff to verify that we had indeed checked into the hotel. Our family has stayed at this hotel at least on two prior and never experienced this. I will say staff at the check-in desk was friendly.

Everyone at the property are extremely nice. When we checked in we were not having a great afternoon and were full of frustrations from a different hotel. The front desk employee was so nice to us and turned our day around. He was accommodating and gave us the best possible room for our budget. The inns vibes were great as well. The grounds are well maintained and has such a classic look. We came during movie night and my kids had a great time watching the movie and swimming at the same time. We will be coming back.

The property was beautiful, and the Spa was so relaxing and enjoyable. What stood out the most was the exceptional service from the staff! The front desk even sent a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate my mom's birthday! I'm so glad we stayed at the RB Inn

There were no swim towels when we went to the pool in the afternoon (hotel ran out and it took an hour to restock) and a shortage of chairs around the pool. Ordering food at the pool was really inconvenient so we ended up leaving and going out to eat. And when we ordered food from the cafe the next day, it was not good and way overpriced. Not worth the $45 resort fee and $40 overnight self parking. Would not return nor would I recommend.

5 stars all the way. This property is quite lovely, especially if you’re out all day at the San Diego Zoo and/or Safari Park. The grounds are relaxing, pools quite nice, restaurants OK but there are great options in town, rooms are true resort-level rooms. We LOVED it here. Came with our 13yo daughter.

It’s a nice space however the walls are very thin. Also I paid 80$ for wings, a pasta, and a drink. It was not tasty. It was cold. I did asked to be charged only half. I literally ate nothing and they still charged full amount.
