There was no indication on any website that they were remodeling. There were paint and bleach fumes. The elevator got went to the wrong floor and when it did arrive at my correct floor the door wouldnt open. We could not fit a lugage cart through our hallway because there were refrigerators and other furniture crowding the entire hallway. There was kitchen ware and bags of garbage inside the elevator for at least 3 hours.

The front desk said the card machine was broken and they had to escort me to my door to let me in. I’ve never had that happen to me at a hotel. I thought that was very inconvenient. I couldn’t leave without putting a lock open. That’s unprofessional and not right. I already paid my money, otherwise I would’ve went somewhere else for that reason. Hotel kind of old, needs updates. But affordable.

The elevator wasn't working so I had carry my bags up to the second floor. There were no bath towels. The maid only had wash cloths and hand towels. I didn't get much sleep because of the noise coming from another room. It felt unsafe.

While the property was somewhat clean, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It’s old, outdated, and in need of a facelift. The halls and rooms smell uniquely and are musty. There was supposed to be a “grab and go” breakfast but that was not true. The was lukewarm coffee, water for tea, a packages of oatmeal. Although the front desk clerk stated breakfast is on the way, it never seemed to appear. Parking was easy & convenient.

Staffing was too low and front desk uncovered often, resulting in multiple waits. Lobby elevator did not run to 3rd floor and required stairs from 2-3. No ice machine or ice available on property and clerk said “just go to the gas station up the street”. I guess I was just expecting something more but location was perfect for need and price for night would definitely be a benefit to some.

The carpet in our room was disgustingly dirty, and the linoleum floor in the kitchenette and bathroom were sticky. There was a roach, or roaches - they all look alike - running around our room. And the refrigerator sounded like a muffler-less car taking off. And the room was damp all the time - bath towels never dried completely between daily uses.

Checked in here due to all hotels was fully booked when I arrived in San Diego. I went to my room to settle. I noticed how dirty it was with the first smell of the room. It says non smoking but the room was surrounded with the smoking smell; urine smell around the bathroom alone. Bed sheet was dirty. The smell was terrible I could not sleep. I went downstairs to get helped for my stay and to get refund due to these reasons and no worker to be found. I was told they go home at 11pm. The man who was there was cleaner doing laundry and he had a strong accent. He was nice but he could not help me with the process for my refund. I have to wait for them to return back at 7am so I can voice my complaint and get my money refunded. Off course I have no choice but to stay in the dirty room. I was traumatized with the elevator so dirty and lights so dimmed in hallways. Smell so dirty as well everywhere. I went down this morning told them all about it and the worker who was nice said he can not process refund only managers. No manager on duty as well. I have to ask for some wipes and spray to clean my own room I paid for. I went n wiped down the room with the colors wipes he gave me; and the freeze spray. When I was done I came back down and he acknowledged me that the manager told him if I was checking out at 1245pm I will get my full refund. No charge due to the situation I agreed after finding another place to stay. I still have to pay extra to get a full refund

Everything is old. Dirty bathroom. Each night I had to go back down and get a new key for my room since it never worked. They advertise that they have free breakfast. Coffee and old muffins and instant oat meal doesn’t make a breakfast.

Our stay was okay, bed was comfortable, room and bathroom was clean, area was quiet and safe. However, there was a distinct food/oil smell that lingered during our entire 2 night stay. We tried to air out the room to ventilate, when we turned on the stove hood vent, the smell got stronger and almost nauseating. Ended up spraying cologne and deodorant in different times to use as an air freshener, and yet the smell persisted. We let the front desk and housekeeping know but don’t think housekeeping came at all. Front desk offered to move us rooms but we refused as the whole building smelled like fried food and figured it would be the same issue. The fried food smell actually woke me up at 8am as I thought my bf was cooking in our room, that’s how strong the smell was. Ventilation throughout the whole building needs to be looked at. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back to this specific Extended Stay.

Bad experience, lobby and corridor had a heavy cigarette smoke odor. The bedding in my non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes. The overall odor in the room reminded me of stale dirty clothes. The toilet seat was loose and easily moved side to side. First night I killed three roaches and more the second night. Started check-out at 3 am because of the roaches.

The room was unclean, bathtub was dirty, the refrigerator was filthy and so were the ice trays. Stains on the bedding and when I lifted the towel on the counter there was a cockroach. I didnt stay in the room longer than 10 minutes. Never left a hotel so fast.

After first night I noticed roaches, stove wasn't working, no phone, and room smelled of mold/mildew. After complaining I was moved to a different room however it was extremely difficult to get items they advertise as part of the room including blow dryer, iron, housekeeping, or even linen to change it out myself. I've heard that each location is different because of management however the stay at this location put a bad taste in my mouth for ALL locations. Contacted corporate which contacted the manager who contacted me and nothing changed just received an apology.

We had to call the hotel to alert front desk personnel so we could check in. Light bulbs out throughout facility so overall dark. Lots of sounds from other guests. These guests were not the problem; the facility is not noise insulated. Clean.

There were 4 lamps in the room. 1 had no bulb 1 had a broken bulb. I reported to the front desk nothing was changed. The room had a strange odor. When I first entered the room the ac was running and the window above was cracked open. The water pressure in the shower was very low and it took a very long time to get warm water. The water never got hot. The commode seat was loose and I needed to tighten the screws to keep it from sliding side to side.

This was the first time that I traveled with my pet. Ron in the front desk was very kind and patient since I called to ask for information before booking my stay. Ron answered every question in a very helpful and friendly manner. Everyone was very professional and polite. The hotel was super clean, my room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. Great price for a great location, comfort and customer service. The breakfast was simple but good, the coffee was great. Definitely I will come back.

Complimentary breakfast was a joke, literally just an expired individually wrapped chocolate muffin and coffee that they put away an hour before breakfast ends ? Our key stopped working probably 7 or 8 times throughout our 2 night stay* We got back to the hotel pretty late and of course the key didn't work so I went to the front desk there was no one there. I called their phone number,the "overnight" number, I called customer service, used the phone on the wall yet no Answer. I knocked on the office door, the break room door, I walked up and down all the hallways and I couldn't find anyone to help! I could hear music playing in the staff office room behind the desk the entire time so I was literally banging on the door at this point. So I'm recording their sign and the music playing and how no one was minding the front when some guy comes falling out the back door didn't even look like an employee at all. He didn't ask me what my name was or for my ID, just the room number and made me a key. At the time I was so over it and ready to go lay down that I didn't care but seriously he was just giving keys to whoever? So I ended up being locked outta my room for hours (that I paid over 100$ a night to stay) And also they have s*** splattered all over the walls and cacaroaches running around the whole room Seriously wish I could get my money back or a voucher to a better extended stay 😭

it took 20-30 min wait to check in , no body was at the front desk. The room needs to be updated, bathroom was smelly, bathroom door doesn't close, kitchen was not functioning. Don't even think the reason that kitchen to be in the room. Breakfast was very limited, just grab and go. Only packaged muffins and coffee.

I had to fly to California from New York because my daughter needed brain surgery have to stay in one night I was told that I can stay with my daughter at the hospital Daniel was very kind and helpful he actually gave me a refund for the other two days that I needed to stay there this was very very helpful and very kind I told my daughter's friends and family if they ever need to stay anywhere to stay at this location again I like to say thank you

Groups of people standing around outside the front door and parking lot taking smoke breaks - although understandable it did not add to the ambience of the place. Avoid.

Trip was Thursday to Sunday... I arrived on Thursday, waited 15 mins for someone to show up at the desk. Room had a bad Oder/smell during the whole stay. I was locked out of my room Friday night and Saturday night after dinner, keys were reset because someone removed my key access. Noone cleaned my room, never had housekeeping show up to my room during the whole trip, saved on tipping the housekeeper $22.00. Not recommended to stay.

It was a fine stay. The hotel is clearly a few years old as they did not have USB ports for charging my many devices, but I had brought my own along. Parking was very convenient, and freeway access was great. Overall, I felt comfortable and would welcome a future stay when visiting family.

Location is good. Extended stay has put in some serious cost cutting measures. They don’t provide utensils until you ask for it. When I asked for it they did not have plates , spatula. They ran out of dishwashing liquid. No shampoo until you ask for it. Only two towels provided in bathroom. I had to go to the reception multiple times to pick up utensils and soap. Very limited room service. Overall decent stay for the price. But extended stay was much better before

I would NOT recommend this place. Looked beautiful on Expedia and it was a last minute booking. Front desk guy Bryce was wonderful for check in. It was convenient to all of our events and parking was nice because it's free and plentiful. After reading all the yelp reviews I can confirm: No roaches No mold Yes the whole entire building smells. My room had a weird scent made me feel nauseous all night. They don't have shampoo in the bathroom you have to ask for it. Our only bar soap in the tub was broken. There was NO ONE there for check in. I had to leave my keys on the desk after waiting for about 5+ mins.

I like the fact that it is pet friendly and the staff that I have encountered with was super accommodating and friendly. The room and the facility or is very clean and tidy the outside area was clean but there was certain areas that was messy. The only thing that was a little disappointing with me is it said it has breakfast included but it was more of a coffee and snack bar.

I would not recommend staying here. From the moment I arrived, the experience was subpar. The check-in process was unprofessional and confusing — there was no front desk bell or signage, and the staff member was hidden behind a closed door. I had to ask another guest for help, and it took nearly 10 minutes before someone finally came out. I wasn’t given a key sleeve with my room number or any Wi-Fi information. The lobby smelled strongly of marijuana, and the elevator had issues during my stay. As for the advertised “free breakfast,” it consisted of a Nutrigrain bar and a basic cup of coffee — extremely misleading. But the worst part by far was the room itself. It was outdated, worn down, and not very clean. The photos online are definitely filtered and don’t reflect the actual condition of the property. Overall, a very disappointing stay. I expected much better from an Extended Stay location.

We stayed here in the past and it was good. Now the property is not maintained at all. The hall rugs are filthy with lots of stains. The dresser drawers were broken. They allow dogs which is good but the surrounding ground are covered with cigarette butts and dog poop. It’s in a nice commercial building area but probably worst property in the area cleanliness wise. Several area need paint. According to Expedia, “breakfast included.” Won’t argue semantics but it’s coffee, instant if you want decaf, instant oatmeal as long as they’re not out of hot water (they were today), muffins and granola bars. At $305/night, it was a little higher than many other properties in the area which I would not have minded were it up to its former standards. I NEVER complain but this was such a disappointment.

They did not have shampoo, conditioner or body lotion. When I asked the front desk about it, they gave me only shampoo. They did not have conditioner or body lotion. The listing said, 'Grab N Go' breakfast. When I asked about it, they said, it is only muffins and they did not have that in stock either. It was just coffee until 10 am. There was some trash in the hallway, The area is safe though. Close to MacDonalds, Starbucks and other eateries. I will not stay here again.
