Pool and spa out of service. No comforters. Staff was very nice. Just an average stay but good price. Bed was on blocks of 2x4’s that was interesting. All in all it’s cheap and dog friendly. Although not any grass area for the dogs.

Motel needs an upgrade. Interior was terrible. Pool and spa being down should’ve been listed. No smoke detector in the room, I’m sure that’s a code violation. I wish I could upload photos I took!

The site is remodeling and needs to update what it they have available. They advertise a restaurant on site and a indoor pool. There is a building for a restaurant but no restaurant is open. I was told that the pool has been closed for over 2 years. WE ASKED FOR A EXTRA BLANKET AND THE WOULD NOT GIVE US ONE.

Motel 6 webpage NEVER stated pool was closed or their Resto was closed. 1/2 inch gap on entrance door - good thing the dead bolt was 1 1/2 inch deep. Bathroom florescent light inoperable. Curtain in back room only closed so far leaving 1 foot of opening. No coffee maker. NO Shampoo. TV remote not working. The walls so thin, I HEARD multiple sexy times from different rooms... Location was excellent, price for Ft Bragg area was cheap ($155 for 2 nights - Fri and Sat nights in mid Oct 2025), but the BEST part were the 2 women at the front desk, Tanya throughout the day and (forgot her name) the very nice woman at the front desk at night.

Property is falling apart with junk everywhere. Despite the pictures, pool is closed and seems like it has been for some time. Room was dirty, there were leaks in ceiling, stains on the sheets (no blanket or comforter on the bed), and people loitering outside that were high and checking out cars in the lot. We ended up leaving and finding another place to stay.

Service good and clean room and comfy beds. But it looks very old and used. No lightbulbs in the bedside-lamps and no trash-can or any comfort features except for two soaps, a fridge and a microwave. Thin door, the blinds do not block all of the light and the pool is out of order (in 25/08). But as said, the room was clean, cheap and good enough for one night.

The main problem is that this once nice property has deteriorated over the 30+ years we have stayed there. The pool used to be nice, and there was a good restaurant. Now, both are closed, and the place looks like a construction project. I hope it recovers.

Good enough for prison relocation folks, etc… probably not my first choice next time, even tho the Motel 6 name drew me there…. Just not a corporate player/owner.

Check-in was smooth, but had to go back for the WiFi password - other places give that out at check-in to avoid guests having to come back. There was a lot of ruckus in the parking outside the rooms and a garbage bin had been thrown about somehow overnight and it was next to my car. The floors were dirty and so couldn't walk around bare foot, and it also got on to the sheets unfortunately. But the aircon worked, the sheets and bathroom were clean.

Absolutely FILTHY. Disgusting. Those floors haven’t seen a broom or mop in a year. The outside is falling apart. The inside has mold, the floors torn up. Dirt ALL OVER THE WALLS. I’m filing a complaint. $560 is ridiculous for TRASH.

The filters on air conditioner were filthy. I cleaned all I could so we could sleep. We had problems getting to the location and were so tired when we arrived we just made the best of it. But the floors were dirty so barefoot walking there. One of the queen beds had definitely had someone else sleep in it prior to us being there. The walk in shower’s curtain didn’t go all the way down so shower water ran all over bathroom floor. I would never recommend this hotel.

Absolutely horrible. The rooms were disgusting. The floor of our first room was literally beoken away from the tub, and when you stepped on the floor is sank. Disgustingly dirty. They have an on sight manager that was from corporate and she said she was trying to ge tthe place in order. But first order should be firing house keep and maintenance. Cigarette butts in the windows, bathroom window didnt lock, and was broken. Beds were dirty, walking on floor turned feet brown. I will never stay here again.

The front staff was great but the room was dirty. There was paint splatters all over the walls, black mold in the shower, and the walls were so thin we could hear the family next to us coughing all night. Would not recommend.

First, I want to say that the staff here are phenomenal. Friendly, quick to answer questions and requests, and very professional. But the room… Omiword! Everything except the linens was nasty dirty! My mom walked barefoot for the first morning and the soles of her feet had turned black with dirt. The air filter on the AC/heater unit was so filthy that we couldn’t turn it on because it smelled disgusting. There was no fire alarm and the ceiling was growing dust! I will be addressing this with the company by email with pics as well.

Typical motel 6 room and amenities. However, we were kept awake every single night by noisy upstairs neighbors. First and second night sounded like kids running back and forth all night. Third night were dogs. We called the front desk every night but it didn't fix the issue. Had 3 TV remotes in my room but none of them worked on our TV. Our entire trip (3 nights) no TV. We had nothing to drown out the constant upstairs noise. Wifi wouldn't stay connected for more than a few minutes at a time. Ice machine broken, pool and hottub broken. Not the best for our Thanksgiving family vacation :( Now we get to drive 7 hours home after no sleep for 3 nights.

This is a great motel, for its type. Affordable (I've been looking... this is the best rate in town!), comfortable, and the staff is both attentive and helpful. One can tell from the decor that the place has had "snazzier" days, and since the restaurant, pool, an meeting hall are actively under restoration (closed for now) it's apparent that the company still cares about this place. The location is primo... the whole town is in walking distance, with a Safeway two blocks down, in case you need snacks, toothpaste, or a bottle of wine. Since the motel's layout is in a courtyard format, Highway 1 (Main Street) is barely a whisper. Glass Beach (gorgeous!) is a pleasant 20 minute hike, and Noyo Harbor, with its quaint-but-posh restaurants is 10 minutes walking. WiFi is solid, bathroom clean, and the cleaning staff is as nice as the office folks. I'll definitely say here again..

Best price for the area that I found when I went. Convenient to find. With walking distance of a Safeway for shopping. Relatively clean and very comfortable. Had a microwave and fridge, which helped with my meal planning for road trip. Front desk personnel were polite and easy. Would recommend.

It's fine. Pretty old and grimy, like most Motel 6 options. Very bad bed, pool was drained and out of order. No oversized parking. We had a small Uhaul attached and had nowhere to park. Very bad coffee.

Glass Beach (gorgeous!) is a pleasant 20 minute hike, and Noyo Harbor, with its quaint-but-posh restaurants is 10 minutes walking. WiFi is solid, bathroom clean, and the cleaning staff is as nice as the office folks. I'll definitely say here again..

This hotel has really seen better days. I’ve stayed a few times and it’s always a drag. One of the stairways to the second floor is damaged and unusable, but it doesn’t appear that any attempt has been made to repair it in months. The other stairway is kind of a death trap when it’s wet out. I don’t think the pool has ever been open. The rooms are decent size, but the laminate floor planks are askew, the doors are old and drafty, and the sinks clog easily. The last time I stayed the TV remote control clearly hadn’t been cleaned, and there was yellow crusty gunk on it! There are also some dubious guests (maybe long-term?) One night a drunk or possibly mentally ill guy downstairs from me spent the entire night alternating between shouting at the wall, and hawking up phlegm into the parking lot. Lovely! But the staff are nice, the price is cheap, and the location can’t be beat.

Good for if you’re just going to sleep there and want to save money. The internet wasn’t working and we had no access to their Netflix or YouTube and our room phone was disconnected. There ended up being an altercation outside with some intoxicated people late at night and cops had to be called to quiet the situation. However, the staff is really friendly and the rooms and linens were really clean. We were walking distance to a lot of good food and coffee as well as the skunk train.

The site is remodeling and needs to update what it they have available. They advertise a restaurant on site and a indoor pool. There is a building for a restaurant but no restaurant is open. I was told that the pool has been closed for over 2 years. WE ASKED FOR A EXTRA BLANKET AND THE WOULD NOT GIVE US ONE.

It's fine. Pretty old and grimy, like most Motel 6 options. Very bad bed, pool was drained and out of order. No oversized parking. We had a small Uhaul attached and had nowhere to park. Very bad coffee.

Motel 6 webpage NEVER stated pool was closed or their Resto was closed. 1/2 inch gap on entrance door - good thing the dead bolt was 1 1/2 inch deep. Bathroom florescent light inoperable. Curtain in back room only closed so far leaving 1 foot of opening. No coffee maker. NO Shampoo. TV remote not working. The walls so thin, I HEARD multiple sexy times from different rooms... Location was excellent, price for Ft Bragg area was cheap ($155 for 2 nights - Fri and Sat nights in mid Oct 2025), but the BEST part were the 2 women at the front desk, Tanya throughout the day and (forgot her name) the very nice woman at the front desk at night.

Friendly and accommodating staff. First room I was in, the air conditioning wasn't working. Went to another room with working air conditioning. Both rooms had their wear and tear, and cosmetics issues. Rate is affordable. Their space for pups is a small rocky area with bags/waste station. Appreciate no carpet in rooms. There's a restaurant in their shared parking lot, so easy to get meals.

The floor didn’t feel swept and there was no shampoo or lotion left in the rooms. Need more garbage cans for three bed hotel room. The was no kind of breakfast either and no coffee in the room had to go all the way to the office for a cup of coffee.

Staff were terrific! However hotel was rundown. Pool inop. No shampoo or hairdryer. Our door lock didn’t work. Had to keep going to front desk fir new keys. They finally had maintenance fix it. Very overpriced for one star hotel. Convenient location. Restaurant on the property was excellent!

Over priced and no shampoo. When I asked they pointed out the vending machine in the lobby. $4 for a tiny bottle. The room was not terribly dirty but it looked like it needed a thorough cleaning. Tub had lots of chips in it making it look dirty. The curtains did not blockout the outside lights at all. As if they were installed too far from the window and wall. You could see everything all night. The price was completely outrageous at $330 for a friday night. Most of the nicer places were sold out but priced about $50 to $100 cheaper. This hotel is surrounded by closed down restaurants. Makes the place look even worse. You would think this would lower the price. Never staying at a motel 6 ever again.
