I didn’t expect much at the great price we got but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was polite and attentive, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable. We didn’t check out the breakfast options as we prefer to eat out but everything else was great! Except for parking. They have a serious shortage of parking here so if you arrive late, like we did, don’t expect a spot in front of your room.

A typical motel - easy parking in front of your room. Average room, fine for one night. Main thing was great location and lovely lass in reception gave us an A4 sheet of recommendations. Had an excellent dinner and breakfast in two recommended places within easy walking distance. Brekkie on site was a grab'n'go selection of prepackaged bars/buns etc.

The outside of the hotel seemed questionable when we arrived after dark. However the inside of our room was surprisingly clean and well kept. There was also limited parking within the parking lot of the hotel, so we had to park at a neighboring business.

Staff was excellent and we appreciated the large parking slots. One thing we always look for is the ability to open an operable window for fresh air. It felt like this unit was recently freshened up and that made the two night stay even nicer. We get to Fort Bragg twice a year, we will stay here again.

There was a cockroach in our room. TOO expensive for a motel at $200/night for a queen and twin bed. Air was horrible, had allergies as soon as I walked in. Renovated rooms but very small for 2 people, very cramped and tight. Mike's Pizza is immediately right across the motel in the same parking lot which feels chaotic and unpleasant to look at. The lobby smelled unpleasant. We were on the bottom floor so everything above can be heard loudly as it seems no sound proof or poor insulation,

We’ve stayed multiple times, but we won’t be staying any longer. Breakfast isn’t what it used to be, it’s not granola bars and packaged oatmeal. The bathrooms have way too much mold in them and I don’t want to be breathing that in. Better hotels within the same price range that don’t have mold and a good breakfast.

You could smell the bed sheets and pillows had not been changed. The pillows smelled like someone drooled on them and there was crubs on the bed. Was only there one night so didnt make it a big deal. Just felt a little gross sleeping on that bed. Otherwise it was a good location and a nice hotel. Walkable to dinner and not too far from their downtown

I most admired the cleanliness of the establishment -- both outdoors and indoors. I also greatly appreciated the unexpectedly updated room interior amenities, from the furniture and overall decor to the presence of good quality appliances: the heating and air conditioning unit to the mini-fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, and big LG flatscreen television.

Not so good. The wood plank flooring felt mushy and was cracked and coming apart. There may have been an ocean view but the double pane window had ait/water leakage making them appear unclean and non viewable. The bed was comfortable, but the room just wasnt nice.

The flooring was a wood 'pergo'. Several area of the floor were buckled or chipped. I think due to previous water damage. I was concerned about the potential for mold. The hotel is next to the road and you can clearly hear the traffic all night long. Also, the 'Continental breakfast' was a joke. Hot water and instant oatmeal and sandwich bread. There was coffee and some very sweet imitation orange juice.

The stay itself was as anticipated, a ground floor room which was susceptible to street noise, car noise and loud neighbors above. Checkin was not what i would like to experience again, as the virtual experience felt distant and cold. I would not stay here again based on those factors.

Front desk friendly and helpful. Check in was fast and easy. Everything explained clearly. It’s in walking distance from a pizza place and a couple other restaurants, which was nice to not have to drive. But during the night around 2 am there seem to be a little party outside our door but didn’t seem to last long as it dissipated in a short time. The breakfast is minimal but it’s free so can’t complain. The room is clean, the A/C works great, and the bed is comfortable. Was a good stay experience.

The check in front desk service was badly, the woman was rude, when i asked her for extra blanket for my 85 years moms, she said no at the first night, second night i called it again , finally she said i had to go pick it up, never come back again

My wife and I are building a place up here and this is where I always stay. I can depend on everything in the room being top-notch including wifi for the many zooms I do. I am always greeted when I arrive, or when I come to the office in need of something, with such enthusiasm and generosity. Both Robert and Gabriel are always delights and immensely helpful.i will miss them once our home is up!

The cleaning crew came to the door three times before 9:30 in the morning use their pass disregarded the do not disturb sign to see if they could clean the room and get us out early. Check out was not until 11:00. We tried to go out to breakfast and they went into the room again a fourth time and we decided just to leave and not return. To top it off there was nobody at reception for us to even get the issue addressed.

Fort Bragg Super 8 is clean and conveniently located. Check-in was fast and easy. Rooms were clean and comfortable with the necessary amenities. Location was quiet enough and close to downtown. Overall I recommend this Super 8. Cheers.

The two women at front desk during different shifts were nice. The gentlemen on the night shift was not helpful and seemed to be smart ass to be honest. I kept asking for compensation or something to be done since our tv did not work the entire day the first day of check in. We had been driving for hours and all me and my friend wanted to do was get comfy in the hotel room have some snacks and watch a movie and we could not , SUPER DISAPPOINTED. The person the first night “TJ” tried to help us but it could not be fixed. No manager in to contact or to help, it got fixed eventually the next day when I went to ask again to have someone come check it out to fix it. At the time I again asked about compensation and no answer, later that night 11/30/24 I went to front desk again to ask for an update and the guy was an ass. He was being sarcastic and saying well it had been fixed and I said yes a whole 24 hours later , we missed on that amenity the night before and again asked for either a refund or compensation of some sort. He said he’d get back to me and call the room , never got a call or follow up. Fast forward to today 12/1/24 we check out and I ask again to which the front lady said her manager was not in and he would either email me or text me later today on what he could do. Still have not received anything , I will likely call again or file a complaint with hotels.com. The room also smelled heavily of bleach and the free breakfast sucked.

My mom is handicap and I did forget to ask for a 1st floor room. The person who checked me in when I asked if I cold have a room on the first floor, he let me know that I should of schedule earlier if I wanted that, when I told him I don't travel with my mother often so when I booked it, it was a thought. He was snarky and rude, he didn't care if I had an issue or even offer a suggestion. Basically you got what you got deal with it. I booked the rooms for two night, we only stayed one and let the second night go, no way I could have my handicap mom going up and down these stairs. Also brought two dogs and if you're going to offer dogs in your hotel you should have an area to take them. When I came back into the office where I should take the dogs and the reply was anywhere you want except the parking lot, seriously? I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will question staying at any hotel 8 anywhere.

Priced right for an overnight. Room was clean, comfy and pleasant. Location was convenient and located across road from park/recreation path to the ocean (cliffside, but still excellent place to enjoy the sunset). Breakfast was grab & go with multi options including fresh fruit.

Receptionist was very friendly and provided excellent information on where we could park nearby and have a very nice walk by the ocean. We are somewhat familiar with the area but had not previously known the location that he recommended so it was a very fun exploration.

Great location within a short walk or drive to Old town fort Bragg. Really comfortable bed as well. The guy at the front desk was amazing with recommendations and helping plan our drive up the avenue of the giants.

As others have said, the room smelled clean as soon as you walked in. And everything was clean. Beds were comfortable along with the pillows. We would definitely stay here again. The only small complaint we have is that breakfast choices were extremely limited. But better than none at all.

It’s a basic hotel room. Nothing wrong with it, just old. We just needed a bed to sleep in, so it was fine. The breakfast was awful. Nothing to write home about. I expected the usual bacon/sausage and eggs, waffles etc that most places now serve. They only had two kinds of cereal, milk and a toast with jam. And coffee that was very standard. I wish they would have said that in the ad.
