Super 8 by Wyndham Page/Lake Powell

Decent place for exploring Page and the surrounding area. The pool was closed for the season when we were there. Breakfast was really bad.

Ice machines down. Breakfast bar was good.

Elevator was out of order

Check in was okay. But took forever. There was another guest behind me, she looked to be upset. I went to unload my vehicle and she was storming outside on the phone. She was upset because the pool was closed. Saying that it was not warned while booking at all. If it was warned, she would've booked another room somewhere else. Which I understand, she had a 6 or 7 year old with her. That was the start. I get to my room and it's really dated. It had a smell, like old smell. I only stayed one night but I did not want to place any of my belongings down. I didnt complain, just left it. Then the next morning, I go for thr complimentary breakfast and that was a joke. I've stayed at other hotels with the same price or cheaper and they had a better selection and it was more clean. The staff looked at you as if you were disturbing them. All they had was cold cereal and waffles and yogurt. Where's the egg and sausage or bacon? Bread perhaps? As I was walking up to get a cold cereal the staff lady cut me off, grabbed both milk container and pushed it to the kitchen. She did not look at me once. Ignored my presence and just stood there wiping the counter down. I just placed my empty plate down and walked off. With no breakfast and decided to load up and leave. I'm hungry and irritated. I get my ice chest and after loading up and figured I'd go grab some ice on the first and second floor. They're both broken! The front desk lady is unaware of it! What a waste of money. Book somewhere else!

typical hotel. Staff would not check anyone in until 3:00 precisely. long line in lobby waiting for check in. All the ice machines in building were not functioning. Was sent to hotel next door to get ice.

Property is a little dated but clean and we had a good stay, good breakfast included. Bonus to have a room with a 3rd bed for family of 5 (3 teenagers) pool was empty / closed for winter still in May.

Large clean with facilities. Laundry and gym was nice. Only disappointment was breakfast. Cold boiled egg and microwave burrito was not a comforting breakfast. I was looking forward to simple eggs potatoes biscuits waffles. When pressed for time in the morning it’s harder to get out to the local restaurant or fast food. Especially not knowing the area. I was willing to pay more for the convenience of a warm breakfast if I knew which hotel had this amenity.

Parking lot was well lit. There was only 1 working ice maker on 2nd floor. 3rd floor was missing and 1st floor was out of order.

Gym has no weights, towels were not replaced when requested, and terrible breakfast

Carpets were filthy. Strong pot odor all down the hall and got into our room. Ice cube machine didn’t work. Not much for breakfast. I chose this hotel based on the reviews and I was very disappointed. Front desk staff was not super helpful or friendly. I’ve stayed at less expensive hotels on this road trip and this was by far the worst one.

Affordable, clean and quiet

Hotel was very dirty, the halls and the rooms. Paid way too much to stay in such a dirty place.

The room cleanliness and the sheets were all clean

The first thing you notice is the hall carpet - it is disgusting. The room itself is fair but the bed spreads need cleaning and replacement also. The room is fair at best. For the money, value not there. YOU can do better, stay elsewhere.

Page is very touristic so the hotel was very busy when we stayed. We checked in late after a long traveling day, front desk staff were young and they never greater us. The next morning, we walked out of the elevator to find dog poop down the hall by the lobby, we notified the front desk, the two staff laughed at us. An hour later, it wasn’t clean. The carpet in the hotel is gross, so dirty. The rooms are remodelled. Good enough for one night.

Staff was pleasant and efficient. The property is worn and dated. Carper in the rooms and halls show wear and tear. Vanity light kept shutting off on its own. Bathroom door was stained with hand prints and needed to be cleaned. Furniture was fine. TV , refrigerator and microwave worked and were clean. I did not feel the rating to "wonderful" was a stretch.

We changed room after spider in the room and got a very noisy one. Bring earplugs

Not a place I would stay next time. Not clean Things were not kept up and dirty AC was kept off tool an hour for us to be bearable inside room

This hotel was very nice. The rooms were spacious and clean. It was also conveniently located. Check-in was easy. The only thing that bothered me was that they charged my credit card before arrival. We wanted to pay cash. GRRR.

Wi-Fi was horrible. It brought back memories of dialup internet with constant dropped connections and slow as molasses. And in 4 nights they never cleaned to room.

The three beds were great for a family. Plus, there was plenty of room to move around.

The room was large and spacious.

Our room was an absolutely massive L-shape with a couch, TV and coffee table near the door, and around the corner 2 Queens and another TV. There was a ton of space, it was clean, and the beds were comfortable. It took 45 minutes to check in, which was tough after being on the road for many hours. They were having an issue with their software or internet, but it was awful. There wasn't nearly enough space in the breakfast area, so we ate in our room. The hotel is near a few restaurants, but it's not really a walkable area. We ate at nearby Gone West, and it was excellent and also gave huge portions so you might want to share.

We stayed two nights with standard room. Fridge was VERY cold so watch your drinks. The air conditioner was very loud which caused some disruption with sleep as every time it came on I woke up. The staff was very nice and the property was very clean and the workers around the property could be seen cleaning the pool, painting or even raking the rocks. The breakfast was good with your standard fare but the area was nice and roomy with space inside and out. I would most definitely stay here again (but with ear plugs). Suggestions: make sure to go to the Glen Dam overlook. We would of missed it if we had not gotten curious about the parking lot being full- https://www.nps.gov/places/dam-overlook-trailhead.htm

Overall, the hotel is fine and has no major issues. We stayed in Room 103 and that is a tough room to be in. There is almost constant noise from people congregating at the elevator and the ice machine, both of which are right outside the door. My only recommendation would be to better soundproof the room. We always stay in a family room, so knowing now where this one is located, we would likely stay in a different hotel next time we're in Page.

WI-FI was horrible!!!

The front desk clerk couldn’t find my reservation; he finally looked on the Expedia site and found it. Check in took at least 20 minutes. He did offer me the ‘Senior discount’ which I did not get from Expedia when I booked my reservation; it saved me $10. The AC was not on when I went into my room; it was like a sauna for two hours until it cooled off. Breakfast was ok. Someone spilled some orange juice in the main eating area about an hour before breakfast ended; no staff cleaned it up until after the breakfast was closed. Only one staff member was cheerful and cordial; too bad I had to wait until I was leaving to meet him. The other staff were not welcoming or the least bit cordial. I’ll look at another motel the next time I stay in Page.

It started off bad with a very unfriendly staff member who would not let us check in a SECOND before 3pm. We showed up at 2:45 and the property was super quiet. So we went in to see if it was possible to check in a tiny bit early. He barely looked up from his computer at us and pointed to the clock and said “check in is at 3pm”. I get that there are rules but he was so unfriendly about it. We waited outside for 15 minutes for his clock to tick right to 3pm. Room was not great. Stained carpet and bad lighting. Breakfast was indeed rather sad. I don’t think I would stay here again.

Service was terrible. We went to check in and arrived 1 hour early due to the time change that was a surprise to us. There was no one at the front desk. We searched around and finally found a kind girl mopping the floor. She got the receptionist and the receptionist proceeded to tell us there were no rooms available for another hour. I’m pretty sure she just didn’t want to check us in. I asked multiple times and she confirmed there were no rooms. I asked her if we could please check in so we didn’t have to wait in line in an hour and she begrudgingly did so. We were tired from driving so we sat in the lobby with our baggage we had lugged in. 5-10 minutes after sitting there she said, “your room is ready.” What kind of service is that?!! She just didn’t want to check us in initially and was trying to drive us away. I’m guessing her shift was almost over. She did it to a few more people while we were sitting in the lobby. Unacceptable for the hospitality industry.

Convenient and cheerful staff

I received my card keys, and one of them didn’t work. When I informed the staff, they didn’t believe me. I had to visit the front desk three times and even take a video to show them. The staff member’s attitude was the worst; she repeatedly insisted the card would work, but even when she tried, it didn’t. Instead of replacing the card key immediately, she said she had other things to do. I have never experienced such poor service. She only gave me a new card later in the day. Thank you for an unpleasant start to my stay at this hotel.

Hotel was fine but front desk staff were unfriendly

The facility was very clean, the room was spacious, staff were attentive. Pretty much equates to all of the things I hope for in a road trip stay.

The property was clean! The room was great. My checkin (when I was finally allowed to check in!) experience was great. The young man checking me in was quite pleasant and very efficient. Others that I met at the front desk were surly and dismissive. (I'm not a misogynist, but all were female) Just plain nasty!

Really unfriendly and uninviting staff working behind check in desk. I had a couple interactions with a couple different people at desk and they seemed unhappy to be even bothered by helping me. The rest of the staff were great!

The hotel was conveniently located, close to many dining options within a few minutes drive, and close to the slot canyons and Horseshoe Bend.

The "free" breakfast wasn't worth it. It was very disappointing. We did NOT try the breakfast the second day

Unfortunately, the keycards did not work properly and we were constantly having to replace or recharge them. In addition, the juice machine for breakfast was broken and they did not offer an alternative. Did not offer water either. Some of the behind the desk staff did not seem interested in smiling or wanting to help people.

The breakfast was great but the person refilling it wasn’t friendly, like she hated her job. They had 2 waffle makers in working order so wait wasn’t long. Healthy options, overall satisfied. The beds were very comfortable and the room clean.

Everything was excellent except for the breakfast which was just average.

Good in general. Too bad the breakfast was the simplest i have ever seen. Didn't even provide egg or sausage.
