The grounds and outdoor views are incredible, the staff from housekeeping to bellmen to manager were all very accommodating. The charming patio overlooking the ocean provided a sense of community as we all watched the sunset and ended up staying and sharing stories. Lovely place. Highly recommend.

This is one of the last original Taormina properties built in 1908. The views from this hotel are amazing - Mt. Etna and the sea! The onsite parking was a little challenging but the staff was helpful in getting our car in and outr for us. Our room was on the bottom floor - which was ok but just know there are 76 stairs to reach the reception office and building exit. The walk up to the town of Taormina is also filled with stairs and inclined surfaces but since we didn't have a gym to use in Italy, this was ok though I wouldn't want to do it every day. Breakfast was good and offered a lot of different things - bed and bathroom were both acceptable and comfortable. All in all a nice stay and I would stay there again.

Breakfast & view from breakfast was wonderful. Room with ocean view veranda was musty and room furniture was tired. But that view from the veranda was breathtaking.

This hotel is like stepping back in time(in a good way).the rooms were spotless and staff were very accommodating and friendly. We arrived at the room, and our room did not have the best view but just around the corner left you breathless. We paid for a less expensive room so can't complain. The breakfast was amazing and the view from the terrace was amazing and would be hard to beat anywhere in the world. They also left and wine, ice bucket and a bottle of fizz in our room , would highly recommend. Amazing.

My Hotels.com VIP status was barely honored. I did receive a complementary bottle of wine and free wifi, but I did not receive a room upgrade or even a discussion as to why not. And, I did not receive free parking. Instead I was charged 25 Euros per night about $31 a night to park my rental car.
