Hotel Wellintown

October 2025, staff were all very courteous. Room was clean. Interior room offered little natural light, but was exceptionally quiet for a downtown TJ hotel. Top floor patio/restaurant/bar offered open space and view of downtown. Parking was secure and well lighted but with very limited space, if you arrive late parking availability might be a challenge. Hotel is within walking distance of Revolución Ave where all the classic restaurants, bars and shops are. It’s one block off the strip and some people might feel it’s a bit rough. WiFi worked great. Uber worked great. Tijuana has lots of energy and interest but also has a reputation— this puts you in the heart of the tourist zone for good or bad as you perceive it.

Stayed in a deluxe king. Very clean rooms. Rainshower heads with large showers. Friendly valet and front desk staff. 5th floor has a restaurant, bar, pool tables, gym, and outdoor seating. Amazing spot, close to everything else.

Everything was great and beautiful. The only thing i didn't like was that parking ran our of space and i had to pay for the parking across the street, at a much higher rate.

The hotel and service was awesome. The elevator wasnt the best since there was only 1 and took a while to arrive whenever we used it. We mostly took the stairs. We didnt have the best view from our room but everything else made up for it. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff here is the best! Warm and thoughtful. There are tons of places in walking distance. Their on-site valet parking makes a big difference. And I love the roof-top jacuzzi!

Rooms were good size, and clean. Parking is very limited. Their parking lot was full when we arrived. There is a multi level public parking directly across the street if there’s no parking available on the street. They will ONLY issue you ONE room key. Half a block to El Centro, our room had street view, you would hear the music from the clubs at night.

Room appeared clean except for the wet bikini bottoms the previous guest left in one of the drawers. Also there was loud music that started around 11pm and ended around 2/3am every night. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Parking lot got full on Saturday evening so we had to pay for parking across the street. Parking garage looked a little sketchy, but my car stayed safe all night.

Excellent stay! Modern, spotless, and very comfortable. Staff were welcoming, and the central location made it easy to get around. Great value for the price.

The room had no towels, and that is the second time this has happened to us. When staff brought us towels, they are worn out with holes in them. Ver disappointing!!

Checked in, room was ok but had no windows or natural lighting. Very dark and small. Went out for dinner amd came back at 9pm, could not get into hotel without knocking on glass door although no warning doors would be locked at night. Next morning realized I did not have any towels to dry from shower.

The hotel staff is great. The rooms are spotless. The only drawback was the low water pressure in the showers but we were on the 4th floor and never had that issue before. Otherwise the place was perfect.

This is our second time at this hotel and we are just as impressed as the first time. The beds are so comfortable, the rooms are spacious, the tvs are huge, the staff is friendly and the hotel is safe. We will definitely be back!

They have great food at the restaurant on the 5th floor. The view from the terrace is really nice as well. Staff was kind. What I didn’t like was that there are no windows in the rooms. It felt a bit claustrophobic. What I recommend, Keep your parking space at the hotel and get an Uber for transportation. You don’t want their parking garage to get full and have to leave your car parked in the street.

This was the first time we stayed at this hotel and in this area of Tijuana. I’m not gonna lie, I was a little apprehensive about it but you feel the vibe as soon as you walk in! The place is small yet beautiful and clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The room we got was great! So spacious, comfortable beds, a HUGE TV (super important to us, as we enjoy being able to relax and watch TV after a long day). Honestly, I was blown away! We will definitely be back and I hope we get to enjoy the roof top jacuzzis and nice gym during our next stay!

If you need to stay in the downtown area this hotel is a good choice. It is clean and the staff is friendly. One thing to note that this hotel does have a good amount of interior rooms with either windows facing into the hallway or none at all. It seems that double rooms are the only rooms that have windows facing the main road, so remember that when booking. I personally do not mind a cave-like room. I was only supposed to stay one night but ended up missing my flight and had to book another night, and they honored my previous night's rate which was nice. My one suggestion would be to carpet the hallways. The hotel was not full so noise wasn't a big issue, but whenever there was anyone in the hallway the tile floors made every voice and step echo right into my room. With more guests I can imagine this would be very disruptive. Overall, a very good and comfortable stay.

Front desk staff were not friendly. Valet guys were very helpful and nice. Room walls are paper thin. Could hear other guests a couple rooms over getting busy at 2 am.

Room was clean, no windows. I didn't know I needed to reserve a time for the hot tub but it keeps it from getting crowded and next time I know.

The a/c stopped working around midnight and there was no a/c throughout the night. Room got real stuffy and hot.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this hotel. The hotel is new or newly renovated, so it looks nice. It's conveniently located right off of Revolucion. There are several bars, restaurants, and shops very close. There are a few problems with the hotel though. First, they have no heating system, so the guest rooms are very cold being winter. The hotel ran out of blankets because everybody was needing them. I will not stay here again during the cold season. The next complain I have is from my previous stay, but I got a new tattoo while I was staying there. During the night blood came though the bandage and got onto the fitted sheet. The sheets were standard plain white sheets that could have been purchased retail as a full set at Walmart for $28.99. They charged me $50.00 US without even trying to clean it, which could have been done. My final complaint is there is a lack of parking. Both trips I had to pay for my own parking across the street, because their lot was full.

Still get high ratings from me but theres a hotel being built next door so theres lots of Morning noise

The hotel itself is nice but the service is terrible. They don’t care about your safety only the sales, I was sleeping and someone opened my room door and surprised they were given the wrong key. I went down and spoke to the manager Guillermo and all he had to say it was a mistake and offered late check out. I ask to me move to a different room and said not possible. I had to leave to another hotel a day earlier and they still changed me for the night I wasn’t there because of there fault. If you care about your safety stay away of this hotel.

Booked 2 beds with a window view, confirmed by staff. Upon arrival, no view unless I waited 2 hours past check-in. Disappointing service.

Love the hotel but hate that they charge you if you want to have your room before 3:00pm even if the hotel is empty. I arrived after 1:00 pm and they wouldn’t give me my room

We have stayed at this hotel before and were looking forward to another 3 night stay. I had reserved a large room with 2 beds......the larger rooms have a table and chairs in the room. That is the main reason why I wanted the larger room and what I was paying for. Upon check in the receptionist told me that they did not have the larger room available but could change to a larger room the next day. The first room had 2 beds but much smaller with no table, chairs or desk. My wife had a conversation with one of the housekeepers and the the housekeeper told us that there was a larger room available. She arranged for us to change to that room. Not sure why the receptionist did not do this or was not aware of the room that I reserved. The larger room was great. Very large and what I reserved and paid for. After the 1st night the A/C unit stopped working. We complained about this 3 times. The second night we were asleep in the room and one of the hotel employees (I believe he was some kind of manager) actually entered our room without knocking at 10:30PM. He was coming in to address the A/C issue. I was sound asleep and my wife was just getting into bed. No knock on the door, no call beforehand at 10:30pm. He backed out of the room quickly but my wife found him in the hallway and let her opinion be known about that invasion of privacy. He did apologize profusely and even called the room to apologize also. Very unprofessional and scary. We do want to stay here again however.

The property looks like was renovated but it is nice. The check-in was easy and the front desk staff was great. There is one slow elevator that will take you to your room. The rooms are not too big and there are no windows facing the street. The only window faces the hallway. The restaurant is pricey and the service was SUPER slow. I ordered two non-alcoholic drinks and it took 20 minutes. The food was just "OK" and for the price that I paid, there was a small portion of food. Overall, the hotel is located in a great location and food and entertainment is within walking distance. I would stay again but I would avoid their restaurant.

CLEAN ROOM. ATTENTIVE STAFF. CLOSE TO AVENIDA REVOLUTION. BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS NOT HUGE, BUT WHAT THEY DID HAVE WAS DELICIOUS AND ENJOYABLE. THE VIEW IS NICE.

Front desk person made me pay for the “free” breakfast. Wouldn’t give me the coupon as promised. Really pissed me off!!!

We could hear everything in our room. Too noisy and people were partying up to 6 am. We got no rest. Breakfast included was just coffee or juice and fruit/white bread with butter.

Room was spotless, great big TV, upstairs bar didn't have limes and didn't know how to make a Margarita. Most staff speak a little bit of English. I'd recommend this hotel for safety, cleanliness and location.
