Wir haben eine Nacht im Hotel Continental verbracht und waren mehr als zufrieden. Das Hotel bietet einen Parkservice an, wodurch das Auto von einem Mitarbeiter in die Hotel eigene Garagen gefahren wurde. Das Hotel befindet sich im Zentrum direkt auf einer Einkaufsstraße wodurch man Triest ganz gemütlich zu Fuß erkunden kann. Beim Frühstück gab es auch nichts zum bemängeln. Man konnte aus einer Karte verschiedene Eiergerichte, Joghurt, Müsli und Getränke bestellen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und der Service stets freundlich!

We visited Trieste for 2 days and this was my first time in this city. The location of the hotel was fantastic, we walked everywhere! Also, it looks like the hotel was recently renovated, but everything was impeccable! The room was very spacious and beautiful! Highly recommended!

Perfect location for exploring historical downtown area. Wonderful hotel. We highly recommend it. ONLY thing is all this area is a pedestrian only area. When the GPS says you are there you need to get the luggage out of the car and go to the car park. The hotel will recommend where to park your car. If going by taxi they will tell you how to get to the hotel from the street.

Hotel in posizione eccellente per il centro di Trieste. Potrebbe essere migliorato il servizio di ripristino delle facilities in camera. Mycket fint hotell mitt i smeten. Rent och fräscht. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal som kan engelska. Vi hade ett Deluxe rum, som var rymligt och som i övriga hotellet med fina materialval. I vårt rum fanns det en vattenkokare med ”svensk” jordad elkontakt. Övriga kontakter var med den Italienska med tre hål i väggen. Det fina läget och den höga standarden avspeglas så klart i priset, men vi hade endast bokat två nätter så det var klart värt det. P.S. även bra in och utchecknings tider in 14 och ut 12.

This hotel has undergone a renovation and it is very elegant, clean, safe and the staff is friendly. We were unlucky to have been given a building facing room. We always sleep with our window open and have switched the aircon off, but we could hear the really noisy aircon from all other rooms and could not sleep during the night. It was a loud buzzing sound and kept us awake. If you book this hotel, make sure they give you a room facing the street, because the internal rooms inside the hotel are extremely noisy when the window is open. The breakfast was a la carte, which was ok, but you have to keep ordering things like butter, milk etc separately as these are not brought to the table. I thing a Buffet breakfast would have been more congenial. We did however loved the buiding and how beautifuly the communal areas were decorated.

I left my phone on shuttle to hotel and 2 reception desk ladies helped me contact the company to find my phone which I was able to pickup the next day. Being outside of the US their help was tremendous! Sorry I don’t remember their names but they were working the front desk Monday Oct 13 around 5pm (1700).

This hotel is closed subject to renovation works. We were transferred to another hotel next doors belonging to the same owner, Modernista. That was a nice well kept hotel. Still we find it surprising that we were not informed until the day before although the original hotel had been closed for months. Modernista was a good hotel. Small safety boxes though, not much space.

I arrived at Hotel Continental after a ten cruise only to discover it was Closed for renovations. I had had the paid reservation for two months and was never notified that the hotel was closing. I’m sure they knew it would be closed and still accepted reservations. This caused a great deal of unnecessary anxiety for my partner and I. Luckily one of the workmen walked us to a different hotel close by.

Very nice hotel in the center. Will stay again. Very nice people at the lobby, not very friendly at the restaurant where I went to get a bottle of water to charge it to the room and the cleaning ladies were very noisy. Other than that. Great experience and will be back.

Amazing hotel for before or after a cruise. Super convenient near train station and so much to see walking around, shopping food all the good stuff. I was going on the cruise ship and stayed one night. The location was super. I was at the Venice airport and took the FLIXBus to Trieste. The bus stop was only a 10-13 minute walk with my large luggage to the hotel. We walk to the cruise port was about 15 minutes walk. We were so lucky to find this perfect hotel. The front desk staff was pleasant and super nice.
