Great location, less than 15 minutes walk to Old Town- Montreal; 3 minutes walk to Metro station; Breakfast is included; parking is in a nearby (next door) hotel underground parking; it's a bit tight when spiraling down, but it's convenient. Overall, it's a great hotel to stay.

The room was bare minimum and with furniture from a yard sale. They forgot to buy sheer curtains and a rug for the room on the first floor. The air conditioner worked but it was too loud to be able to sleep. The parking garage was the most difficult thing I have ever navigated. I do not recommend this motel.

We had a lovely experience staying at this hotel. The rooms were clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious. Parking was a bit challenging as the entrance to the garage is extremely steep. Staff was courteous and helpful. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip.

Someone hit my car while I went to check in and their response was nothing they can do. Ever I call them earlier where to park i am coming to check in. She’s like around the building anywhere. After there is no responsibility when someone hit my car. Room wasn’t very clean. Floor was dirty. So my overall experience wasn’t good here.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Roberval. Our room was immaculately clean. I was pleasantly surprised by this and really think housekeeping deserves a ton of credit. You can tell they care a lot to actually clean all the fine details like corners, in and around appliances, and under furniture; it would be so much easier for them to just ignore it. The layout is more like a studio apartment than typical hotel room. Couch, balcony, and kitchenette were included in our room. Appliances and furniture were a bit dated, but all so clean that there is little to complain about. Very good breakfast considering the small size of the hotel with good selection and freshness. Food stations can get crowded though. Decent location, about 15 minutes walk to Old Montreal and only a 2 minute walk to the Metro. Me and my girlfriend both agreed we will be staying here next time we are in Montreal; overall, it was a great value for the money.

It was a quick walk to the Subway. The staff were nice. The Murphy bed was more comfortable than a sofa bed. The kitchenette was nice to have. Wood floors was cleaner than carpet. Parking is down the street, but manageable. Overall, nice for a group of 4 people.

The front desk staff wasn’t courteous and will not look at me when talking to me. He kept looking and addressed the other person who was with me even though I paid the deposit and for the parking. I asked for the parking lot direction and he again addressed the other person. He was totally unhelpful and not interested in helping. Extremely challenging to park in the underground parking lot, not an easy place to get in and out.

The staff was great! The rooms were clean and it was a great minimalistic hotel perfect for a couple day stay, in a great location. The receptionist Saint Claire was the best! He went above and beyond and honestly made the experience super comforting.

This hotel’s 3-star rating on Expedia is misleading—it should be rated 1 or 2 stars due to unreliable management and poor room service. I requested regular cleaning when I checked in, reminded them on the third night, and filed a formal complaint on the fourth night. The room wasn’t cleaned until the fifth night, and even then, the bed sheets weren’t changed. I am still waiting for an apology. Additionally, the sink tap was loose, the toilet leaked, and the showerhead was so loose it sprayed water everywhere.

No other hotel in Canada during this vacation wanted more than $100 You need to review this policy. The pre with is also not automatically refunded took 48hrs. Other hotel deposits instantly refunded to card I appreciated the size of the rooms, kitchen. Clean bedding comfortable bed Horrific noise from outside. Windows old not sound proofed. Check in was torturous. The clerk seemed baffled. Parking was terrifying - narrow, steep incline which served as both entrance and exit. Tiny parking area. Then we had to walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to steet level only to have to walk another block or so to the hotel. Room was ok. The little balcony was nice. We didn't know we had to ask for housekeeping so our room was not made up. The breakfast was minimalistic. Our 1st morning the breakfast room was packed with people so we were taking our trays back to our room. A staff member stopped us saying we couldn't leave with the trays. She had to confer with another staff member who scanned the room to verify that there were no available seats. Also, there's no safe in the room. There was a note on the card with our key that the front desk had a safe. When we brought down our passports, the clerk was baffled - there was no safe (probably an American problem.) The location was good. Metro is a block from the hotel. We tried to call the hotel before we discovered the Metro to ask which station was closest. We were on hold for about 2 minutes. It was a reasonable price with ok accommodations. I think next time I'd stay somewhere else.

This was a clean and well maintained, renovated hotel in the east end of downtown. Secure reception and spacious rooms. Conveniently located near metros, old Montreal, Latin Quarter, etc. I found the front desk agent friendly and welcoming. Nothing to complain about. A well priced hotel in a great location.

We had a nice stay at Hotel Le Roberval. The room was large with a separate bedroom, bathroom, living room/kitchen and dining area. Limited tv channels but was surprised by a murphy bed in the living room (used as a couch as there were only arm chairs) and a well supplied kitchenette. Decent value and kind service. The breakfast was not great.
