Hotel is great. Beautiful view from our room at ver the bay. Location is great. Or quite a distance walking or bus ride to Centre part of Sorrento. Long main street. Parking indring of hotel. Surprised that it was not free but has to pay 20€. It was quite limited and lucky hotel was not truly full. But if you drive a car need to take this extra into account. Breakfast was amazing. Changes every day. The scrambled eggs was excellent. Juice was a bit watery. But the coffees are great. A lot of choice with regards to cakes and sweets. Typical Italian breakfast. I must add that they offered us a very nice deal for a capri boat tour for around 60€. This included transfer to a port outside of Sorrento. Than a boat is ncluding a cruise around Capri than 5 hours alone time in Capri. At 60€ that’s great value considering just the ferry is 40€ Got great advice to try a restaurant about 100m away. Was excellent.

Loved the rooftop terrace. Great views from there, plus a nice whirlpool tub to soak in at day’s end. Road noise was a thing. There were no sidewalks on the road, so that was a bit hazardous. Getting around was by bus or taxi. The bus service was good and easy to anticipate using Google Maps. The staff was terrific. Super helpful. They had access to tours that picked you up and dropped you off at the hotel. The prices were comparable to booking it on your own, so it was a no-brainer to use their available tours. We did Capri and the Positano/Amalfi tours. Both were great!

Property was nice and clean. Very basic amenities in the room. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Only thing missing was a pool but they did have a jacuzzi on the roof. The bus stop right outside the hotel was very useful. Breakfast in the morning was basic but again staff was very lovely. We would stay again. Sitting on our balcony in the mornings and evenings was lovely.

The hot tub closes early, around 1900 so found that strange. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice. They need to rearrange their refrigerators, they were hot and in a closed space. Nice views from the balcony and right across the street from a bus that goes to town which is great

Nice basic hotel but staff were great. The only downside was NO SWIMMING POOL only a jacuzzi. Taxi fares were an absolute JOKE to no fault of the hotel ( VERY VERY EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!! )

Our was really great and the staff were really amazing/extremely helpful. The room was great ( we had a partial sea view) but it’s definitely a no frills hotel room. It’s also not very “modern” but had the most important item, an A/C so we had no complaints. The bathroom was also pretty small with a small shower and not much counter/vanity space. Breakfast was good, mostly continental with some warm time. It was great for a quick bite before an excursion or for a slower morning. Beyond providing great recommendations that also helped to arrange the excursions and day trips for us. It felt like the options the hotel provided were sometimes better than what we saw online. The hotel itself really well located. It’s not “central” but was only a 15min walk or a less than 5 min bus ride into the downtown area. We actually walked majority of the time because it felt so easy and even as two young women we did not feel uncomfortable walking really late or early. Not being in the middle of it all actually was great for us because the main downtown area felt so crowded. Even if we didn’t want to go all the way into the downtown area there were still some nice restaurant right near the hotel and the hotels bar actually made surprising great limoncello and aperol spritzes. Beautiful clean hotel with staff that couldn’t do enough for you. Hotel was immaculate in every area. Lovely sunny roof terrace with jacuzzi and ground floor gardens next to the bar. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.

Very pleased with this hotel! It was extremely clean and in a very good location with a beautiful view from the rooftop lounge area. Walls are a little thin so you could hear your neighbours snoring but aside from that, zero complaints!

Staff are not helpful. They had us waiting for a bus that would never come as they said the bus we needed stopped right outside. It in fact did not actually drive pass our hotel at all. Needless to say, we walked everywhere that required us be on time for something. Ants crawling everywhere in the room and you must give your key every time you leave for the maid to go in. However, no new towels or new soap was ever given. They simply made the bed and took the garbage.

This is probably the best hotel I ever stayed in. It was such a pleasure to stay there. Giuseppe and his father and all the staff are true gentlemen. The hotel is super clean. Everything is very convenient. The breakfast was nice and fresh. Giuseppe was super helpful in helping us come up with an intenirary. His recommendations were on point. He was so friendly and such an amazing person. I will always stay here when I visit Sorrento. Stay here if you want a safe, clean, friendly, above and beyond service. Worth every dollar.

The Hotel Britannia staff were very helpful and courteous at all times during our stay. Room was basic but very clean and comfortable. Towels were thin and as I have found in other European hotels, no wash clothes provided. Soundproofing between rooms was poor.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The rooftop jacuzzi and sitting area was wonderful. The gym was well equipped and clean. The staff were very helpful with area information and can book things for you with transportation right at the hotel. You can walk down to the center area with all the shopping, restaurants, laundry, etc. just be aware that the first part doesn’t have a sidewalk and the traffic is heavy, fast, and the road is curvy. It was a bit hairy walking. There is a bus available. There is a wonderful family owned restaurant right near the hotel that I would recommend. The air conditioning in our room never worked. They said they were working on it. You can’t leave the door open because the traffic is so noisy. The sea view is nice and there is a tiny balcony available. The garden view rooms look at a wall it was odd. I reserved 3 rooms with the option to pay at the hotel. The plan was for each of the rooms to be paid for by the couple staying in them. Unfortunately they charged my credit card for all 3 rooms without my authorization. They said it is a system thing that they couldn’t rectify. They need to fix this. It was infuriating as my credit card wad charged $3,000.00. They said a credit would take a month or more. The breakfast was excellent and the staff in the room were very helpful, friendly, and efficient.

Nice hotel. Clean rooms, AC, mini fridges and comfy beds. Nice full breakfast. The staff was terrific! It’s a little far from the main drag but walkable (20-30 minutes).

My room wasn’t so good .. ( made the reservation last minute ) but all other rooms are nicer with sea view or Garden view in this hotel , the stuff and the owner are helpful and very nice and they do everything to make you happy and comfortable …There is a beautiful garden with a lemon tree and sea view. I would go back there ( not in the same room)

The location was great and the staff is amazing so polite and easy going and very professional and helpful. The towels are very thin not the type you find in hotels but they dry ok. There is no kettle in the rooms to heat water and no glassware or silverware in the rooms.

It’s also not very “modern” but had the most important item, an A/C so we had no complaints. The bathroom was also pretty small with a small shower and not much counter/vanity space. Breakfast was good, mostly continental with some warm time. It was great for a quick bite before an excursion or for a slower morning. Beyond providing great recommendations that also helped to arrange the excursions and day trips for us. It felt like the options the hotel provided were sometimes better than what we saw online. The hotel itself really well located. It’s not “central” but was only a 15min walk or a less than 5 min bus ride into the downtown area. We actually walked majority of the time because it felt so easy and even as two young women we did not feel uncomfortable walking really late or early. Not being in the middle of it all actually was great for us because the main downtown area felt so crowded. Even if we didn’t want to go all the way into the downtown area there were still some nice restaurant right near the hotel and the hotels bar actually made surprising great limoncello and aperol spritzes. The front desk was very helpful and gave us a really good suggestion on where to eat. When we checked in, they gave us lemon sorbets. They always greeted us when we came back or even on the street when we see them! The food for breakfast was really yummy that we wanted seconds. The breakfast staff were very welcoming and always gave us cappuccinos. The rooftop had a beautiful view with a nice jacuzzi. We were definitely coming back to stay. The hotel location is right in the bus stop area and not far from the main attractions.

The staff was AWESOME. Very helpful for all of our questions about travel, excursions, etc. We had an amazing view from our balcony and the rooftop was also spectacular. Room was cozy and clean. Only draw back for the location was the sidewalk to downtown Sorrento ends about 100meters from the hotel, and the street is very busy/narrow. That was a bit unsettling, but we did it no problem. The bus stopped right in front of the hotel too.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The rooftop jacuzzi and sitting area was wonderful. The gym was well equipped and clean. The staff were very helpful with area information and can book things for you with transportation right at the hotel. You can walk down to the center area with all the shopping, restaurants, laundry, etc. just be aware that the first part doesn’t have a sidewalk and the traffic is heavy, fast, and the road is curvy. It was a bit hairy walking. There is a bus available. There is a wonderful family owned restaurant right near the hotel that I would recommend. The air conditioning in our room never worked. They said they were working on it. You can’t leave the door open because the traffic is so noisy. The sea view is nice and there is a tiny balcony available. The garden view rooms look at a wall it was odd. I reserved 3 rooms with the option to pay at the hotel. The plan was for each of the rooms to be paid for by the couple staying in them. Unfortunately they charged my credit card for all 3 rooms without my authorization. They said it is a system thing that they couldn’t rectify. They need to fix this. It was infuriating as my credit card wad charged $3,000.00. They said a credit would take a month or more. Staff are not helpful. They had us waiting for a bus that would never come as they said the bus we needed stopped right outside. It in fact did not actually drive pass our hotel at all. Needless to say, we walked everywhere that required us be on time for something. Ants crawling everywhere in the room and you must give your key every time you leave for the maid to go in. However, no new towels or new soap was ever given. They simply made the bed and took the garbage.

This is probably the best hotel I ever stayed in. It was such a pleasure to stay there. Giuseppe and his father and all the staff are true gentlemen. The hotel is super clean. Everything is very convenient. The breakfast was nice and fresh. Giuseppe was super helpful in helping us come up with an intenirary. His recommendations were on point. He was so friendly and such an amazing person. I will always stay here when I visit Sorrento. Stay here if you want a safe, clean, friendly, above and beyond service. Worth every dollar.

The property is cute, has a cottage like vibe. The room is very average, but the balcony was a huge bonus. The staff is lovely and so helpful. The walk to the main square is a bit challenging as there are no sidewalks for some of the way and people drive there super quick so it feels a bit like frogger at time. But you can take the bus which is so convenient and takes you door to door.

Great staff, its a about a 10-15 walk to town. Taxis rip you off, so it about 30 euros for a 2 minute drive.

We loved being just outside of Sorrento. It is more quiet than in town but only a short walking distance to town. The included breakfast made our days easier, especially when we had early tours. The friendly atmosphere made our time there very comfortable. The rooftop hot tub and lounge chairs were very relaxing during our down time.

The front desk staff is amazing. So pleasant and smiling. I would recommend staying here. It’s 20 minute walk to downtown but I never got sick of it bc the view was incredible.

Hotel is great. Beautiful view from our room at ver the bay. Location is great. Or quite a distance walking or bus ride to Centre part of Sorrento. Long main street. Parking indring of hotel. Surprised that it was not free but has to pay 20€. It was quite limited and lucky hotel was not truly full. But if you drive a car need to take this extra into account. Breakfast was amazing. Changes every day. The scrambled eggs was excellent. Juice was a bit watery. But the coffees are great. A lot of choice with regards to cakes and sweets. Typical Italian breakfast. I must add that they offered us a very nice deal for a capri boat tour for around 60€. This included transfer to a port outside of Sorrento. Than a boat is ncluding a cruise around Capri than 5 hours alone time in Capri. At 60€ that’s great value considering just the ferry is 40€ Got great advice to try a restaurant about 100m away. Was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay, overall, but a few minor complaints. The hotel is an enjoyable walk down to Sorrento, although slightly more difficult going back up. Buses were sometimes full which made things a little difficult. Breakfast was good, but not great. The rooftop terrace had good views, but it was usually too hot to sit up there.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The rooftop jacuzzi and sitting area was wonderful. The gym was well equipped and clean. The staff were very helpful with area information and can book things for you with transportation right at the hotel. You can walk down to the center area with all the shopping, restaurants, laundry, etc. just be aware that the first part doesn’t have a sidewalk and the traffic is heavy, fast, and the road is curvy. It was a bit hairy walking. There is a bus available. There is a wonderful family owned restaurant right near the hotel that I would recommend. The air conditioning in our room never worked. They said they were working on it. You can’t leave the door open because the traffic is so noisy. The sea view is nice and there is a tiny balcony available. The garden view rooms look at a wall it was odd. I reserved 3 rooms with the option to pay at the hotel. The plan was for each of the rooms to be paid for by the couple staying in them. Unfortunately they charged my credit card for all 3 rooms without my authorization. They said it is a system thing that they couldn’t rectify. They need to fix this. Our was really great and the staff were really amazing/extremely helpful. The room was great ( we had a partial sea view) but it’s definitely a no frills hotel room. It’s also not very “modern” but had the most important item, an A/C so we had no complaints. The bathroom was also pretty small with a small shower and not much counter/vanity space. Breakfast was good, mostly continental with some warm time. It was great for a quick bite before an excursion or for a slower morning. Beyond providing great recommendations that also helped to arrange the excursions and day trips for us. It felt like the options the hotel provided were sometimes better than what we saw online. The hotel itself really well located. It’s not “central” but was only a 15min walk or a less than 5 min bus ride into the downtown area. We actually walked majority of the time because it felt so easy and even as two young women we did not feel uncomfortable walking really late or early. Not being in the middle of it all actually was great for us because the main downtown area felt so crowded. Even if we didn’t want to go all the way into the downtown area there were still some nice restaurant right near the hotel and the hotels bar actually made surprising great limoncello and aperol spritzes.
