Stayed here as could not find anywhere else for the night I needed that was not well into the hundreds. Its an ok hotel, an old converted house in a residential area with on street parking. The room I had was very big almost like a small flat, it had ok decor and bed was comfy. I saw some of the other rooms as I walked to my room and they were not as large so I guess be careful what one you choose. The biggest let down was the owners. Upon parking I walked to the hotel and a lady came out and walked over the road chatting to her friend. The lady looked at me and said nothing so I just assume it was a random person staying at the hotel. I got to the door and there was no one there, I stayed ringing the bell and calling for 20 minutes. Total waste of time after a long days drive. Eventually who turns up the same lady who walked past chatting to her friend! Did not even seem to care she left me waiting. To top it all off I find out it was the owner. It cost nothing to care for your guests. I would not stay again.

On arrival we were warmly greeted and informed where breakfast would be served and explained where our room was. The room was huge in size, light, airy and tastefully decorated. The en-suite was a good size and cleaned to a high standard as was the room. Breakfasts were amazing, VERY generous portions and well cooked. The staff there were really great, nothing was too much trouble. They took time to cater for your needs. Very polite, professional and dedicated. The location of the hotel was ideal, within walking distance of Dundee city which made it great for the V&A museum. On street parking in this quiet area was a bonus. I certainly recommend this hotel for your stay.

I checked into the hotel..had booked for one night as a solo traveller as at a gig in Dundee. Plenty of free parking outside the hotel which is a bonus. The owner of the hotel met me at the front door and checked me into room 5 quickly, she was very friendly and was helpful. The room was quite small ..there was a curtain over the door for the bathroom...was filthy and looked like it had not been cleaned but it did say on it it was "dry clean only" as was suede material.......the bottom valance of the bed was filthy again looked like it had not been washed....the duvet /top sheet and the actual mattress were clean though. The windows were covered in cobwebs ....again not been cleaned in a long time ....did not stay for breakfast so cannot comment on same. Not sure what the rest of the rooms were like but based on the one I had I wouldnt stay again.
