Look, it is what it is. Don’t expect too much and you will be fine. Rooms are OK. Just ok. But for the money it was fine. Bedrooms are warm (which is great when you’ve been working outside all day). Bathrooms are ok. None of the fittings and furnishings are new or modern but you get what you pay for. Tiny tv but it’s OK for a stay. Buffet restaurant is reasonable value for money (with a Tastecard - not so great value if you don’t get the 2 for 1 Tastecard offer) with a decent selection of food including cooked to order fish and chips and salmon. Lots of pudding choices including school dinners crumbles and custard and a very passable section of cheese and biscuits. People put down Britannia’s and i understand why. But you get what you pay for. Plenty of Hilton’s and Holiday Inn’s if you want to be cosseted with the latest contemporary surroundings. And you’ll pay for that modern touches and quality. So you pays your money and takes your choice.

There was a good breakfast. The place just needs to close. I can deal with cheap dated hotels, you get what you pay for and this was cheap, but could not accept the poor cleanliness. Corridor stank of stale urine. Just needs to close.
