The Windrose was a lovely, well priced property, not a 10 minute walk from Rome’s Termini rail station. The very pleasant staff spoke good English, and received me warmly. I was early to check in, so they kindly kept my luggage for me in a secure room without any extra charge. I chose a single room, but found it roomy, comfortable, and very pleasant with a large attractive bathroom and an even larger balcony that was accessible through tall French doors. A very nice continental breakfast was included and served tastefully on nice dishes in a very attractive breakfast room large enough for all of the guests. The lobby and , a couple of small sitting rooms are very attractive and look much more upscale than the price suggests. Overall, it was an excellent stay and the nicest of four different hotels I have used recently in Rome’s city center. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We loved the location (not very touristy but with good restaurants and in walking distance of the biggest sights). The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff members were helpful. We liked that breakfast was included (though the selection was somewhat limited). The rooms were small, but we’d perhaps expect that in Rome. We’d highly recommend staying here!

Hotel simples mas muito bem organizado e localizado. 2 quadras da estação termino. Quarto limpo. Café da manhã simples mas variado e gostoso. Só tenho 2 sugestões: colocar frigobar no quarto e aumentar o tamanho do chuveiro ( era muito apertado para tomar banho - poderiam remover o bide, acessorio já ultrapassado, e aumentar o tamanho do box. Com certeza retornarei e recomendaria o hotel.

We were really happy with this hotel! It was less than ten mins to reach the hotel from Termini Station, and the location is great as it seemed much more quiet than the touristy areas of the city. The hotel staff that checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. It was a quick and easy arrival. Our room was great! We had booked a room with two beds and a balcony, which was really large and overlooked the city below (we were on the 5th floor). The room was modern, clean, and quiet. Breakfast was fine, in a nice dining room and attentive staff. Perfect location to explore Rome on foot. The hop-on-hop-off buses and city buses were just around the corner. We would definitely stay at Hotel Windrose again, the next time we visit Rome!

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit 3 Einzelbetten gebucht und erhalten, im 5. Stock mit kleiner eigener Dachterrasse. Badezimmer angenehm groß mit Fenster, gute Handtücher und schöne Bettwäsche. Das Hotel ist fußläufig zum Hauptbahnhof sehr gut erreichbar, auch mit etwas Gepäck in 5 Min zu schaffen, dennoch ruhig. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Empfang. Frühstück gegen Aufpeis möglich, allerdings sind in unmittelbarer Nähe gute Bars. Für alle Unternehmungen in der Stadt sehr günstig gelegen, da man ab Termini mit der UBahn oder per Bus überall gut hinkommen kann. Kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer, aber an der Rezeption kalte Getränke zu haben. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, gerne wieder!

We chose this hotel because it was within walking distance 9a long walk) of Rome Termini, but wound up taking a cab to get to it. We were quite happy with our stay, though the room was small. We particularly recommend the restaurant across the street and to the right (unfortunately I don't remember its name). It had delicious food, including gluten-free pasta and regular (i.e, with gluten) desserts. The hotel staff arranged a taxi to take us to Fiumicino airport, a trip of a little less than an hour.

Firstly, Paolo could not have been more helpful😊. He booked our cab to the airport for our departure back to Canada, our driver Alex was wonderful. Paolo also helped us with bus transportation to the Vatican and back. Both Paolo and Max were very accommodating for pur needs during our stay. The hotel is an easy walk from the Tremini where we arrived by train. We were also blessed to be have an early check in on our arrival. I was recommend the Windrose for your stay in Rome💗

Location is excellent. About 6 minutes from termini. Several restaurants and shops close by. Staff is extremely helpful with trying to deal with a strange city. They were able to make reservation with a restaurant for me.

We loved the location (not very touristy but with good restaurants and in walking distance of the biggest sights). The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff members were helpful. We liked that breakfast was included (though the selection was somewhat limited). The rooms were small, but we’d perhaps expect that in Rome. We’d highly recommend staying here!

I was delighted with only a 5 minute walk from the Termini Station for Trains, Metro lines, Buses, Trams, Airport shuttle buses and all the Hop on Hop off Buses

We were really happy with this hotel! It was less than ten mins to reach the hotel from Termini Station, and the location is great as it seemed much more quiet than the touristy areas of the city. The hotel staff that checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. It was a quick and easy arrival. Our room was great! We had booked a room with two beds and a balcony, which was really large and overlooked the city below (we were on the 5th floor). The room was modern, clean, and quiet. Breakfast was fine, in a nice dining room and attentive staff. Perfect location to explore Rome on foot. The hop-on-hop-off buses and city buses were just around the corner. We would definitely stay at Hotel Windrose again, the next time we visit Rome!

Arrived before check in, front desk kept our luggage safe until check in time so that we could enjoy walking around. Breakfast was decent. Close to the train station and subway. Stayed here 1 night.

The Windrose was a lovely, well priced property, not a 10 minute walk from Rome’s Termini rail station. The very pleasant staff spoke good English, and received me warmly. I was early to check in, so they kindly kept my luggage for me in a secure room without any extra charge. I chose a single room, but found it roomy, comfortable, and very pleasant with a large attractive bathroom and an even larger balcony that was accessible through tall French doors. A very nice continental breakfast was included and served tastefully on nice dishes in a very attractive breakfast room large enough for all of the guests. The lobby and , a couple of small sitting rooms are very attractive and look much more upscale than the price suggests. Overall, it was an excellent stay and the nicest of four different hotels I have used recently in Rome’s city center. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Hotel simples mas muito bem organizado e localizado. 2 quadras da estação termino. Quarto limpo. Café da manhã simples mas variado e gostoso. Só tenho 2 sugestões: colocar frigobar no quarto e aumentar o tamanho do chuveiro ( era muito apertado para tomar banho - poderiam remover o bide, acessorio já ultrapassado, e aumentar o tamanho do box. Com certeza retornarei e recomendaria o hotel.

In a great location for access to bus and metro. Lots of restaurants around including mini-marts for snacks. The only complaint would be the temperature in the room was warmer than we like; we haad to keep asking the staff to lower the temp but it didnt seem to do anything. The noise from the street outside our window wasn't that great either.
