Stayed 1 night

I have stayed at this property on two occasions due to its convenient transport links to Gatwick Airport. While my second stay initially met expectations, I was extremely concerned to discover a large bed bug on the bed as I was preparing to check out. The insect appeared to have recently fed, which explains the persistent itching I experienced throughout the night. This raises serious hygiene and health concerns, and I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.

Basic but clean and did the job for 1 night. Good access to local restaurants. No hand towels in the private bathroom, however ones for showering were provided, frdge located in the room was quite noisy . Very well located for catching bus to and from Gatwick, (couple of minutes walk) which runs 24 hours, making it really convenient for very early morning flight.

The room was very basic and the place smelled of Curry. We were put on the ground floor as we had a number of large bags, but when we tried to open the windows we had smoke and noise with people smoking and being noisy outside. As other guests have said the guesthouse is not on the airport bus route, so you need to get a taxi to and from the airport, which as we are so close I thought would have been fairly cheep, but it turned out to be £20 each way, so as the room cost £76 pound this brought the cost of our stay to £116, I would definitely pay the extra and stay in one of the hotels cost into the terminal in future.
