The building and the rooms have character, but… some rooms are air conditioned and others are not, the dining room is grim, the weekend service is thin. I think we also got overcharged for our bedroom (the Anne Boleyn).

Rebecca and her team went above and beyond to make our stay really magical - from the perfect room selection to the fluffy white robes, it was a gorgeous few nights. If you’re flying into or out of Gatwick Airport around the time of your stay, the hotel also offers a reasonably priced and safe car parking service, and with a bus to the airport around the corner I’ll definitely be doing it again. Lovely stay in a charming manor. Well maintained grounds and good breakfast buffet for full English breakfast or cereal and juices. We stayed in the Epsom and another suite that were separate to the main manor. Both were well appointed and charming. The only negative was one of the rooms was not made up on our 2nd day, and we ran out of shampoo and toilet roll! The bar staff were excellent and amazingly accommodating. Very happy with our stay!

I bid for a room upgrade which i won and was really disappointed that the room we had was exactly the same as we had in November without paying for an upgrade. Paint peeling of the walls, lights out in the bathroom. Such a shame to rip you off like this as it is a nice hotel.

The food fully justified the 2* AA rating but the staff, who were lovely people, were not professionally competent for the quality that the hotel aspires to. For example the room was not serviced at all on one day and lounge drinks were not clleared away after use for long periods. Our room was not in the Manor but in a modern constructed building away from the Manor. That was not specifically mentioned in the booking. The bathroom have large tiles that were separated from the floor. There is a low beam parallel to the bed and you have to bend over to get out of bed.

Whilst I know this is an old and historic property, the entire place (restaurant, bedroom...at least mine, bathroom) are all very, very dated. It does feel like the whole place has not had any investment or refurbishments for 20 or more years. It is tired, old and feels like it is on a steep and steady decline.

There's no air conditioning and the room was really really hot. It was difficult (impossible?) to make the shower cold. Building is beautiful and grounds are beautiful. Hotel is a touch expensive to have no AC. Breakfast was good

This time the room was very noisy all night and I could not sleep as kept hearing gravel path and deliveries arriving outside open window due to heat in the room. Staff are friendly but disappointed not to have breakfast included in the cost as per last stays

Have stayed multiple times, this trip was 2 nights, excellent as before. Dinner one night, was excellent, nice young man server, food excellent. Ladies at front desk were pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast mix was limited but adequate, supplemented by a menu to support it. Could use a mini-fridge, plenty of room in the spacious rooms.

Langshott Manor is a hidden gem. We stayed at the property based on its proximity to Gatwick Airport, however the hotel is a lovely destination in its own right. Our room was charming, the restaurant was exceptional, the grounds were beautiful and best of all the hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We will definitely stay at Langshott again if we are in the area. J&K from Tampa, Florida.

We love this property and it’s historic character. This stay we had a smaller room than last time but it was quiet and cozy. There are two pubs within easy walking distance and many beautiful quaint villages within an hours drive.

What a great place. The wife loved it. The food.... oh god... the Foooodddd. Wife loved her vegan Cauliflower dish. I had the fish. Utterly fantastic. The wine was brilliant. Now too the Staff. Who are wonderful. They made her night. The building. Old and well restored. ( I snag new builds for a living. ) But the job done was very good. Few niggles, but thats just.. job eyes. You want a lovely stay in an old Manor House? Well this is the one I'd go to again. Thank you Girls n Guys for making the wifes stay brilliant.

Upgraded to Leeds room, thought it would be bigger than attic room. While a nice room, it is very modest in size. Should have saved the upgrade and kept my original booking. Waited 15 minutes in the bar area before getting served a drink and the restaurant was very underwhelming considering the price and awards received.
