Great location for what I needed, 5 min walk from train station, to shops and restaurants. Room was a decent size and bed was very comfortable. Staff are friendly and having access to 24 hr snacks and drinks was great for me especially for my first time in hull.

It suited my purpose in the reason for being in Hull. As I drove up from Heathrow and arrived at 11.15 pm the check in was great and I even got a beer before bed, excellent service

We arrived early but the Staff on reception was very helpful and friendly, and we were able to book in earlier than anticipated . The room lovely and clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was well prepared and food good. Relaxing atmosphere in reception area and toilet facilities were extremely clean. Would definitely stay again.

The flooring of the room had multiple stains. I wouldn't even call it carpet it felt more like a thin felt covering of the floor it was so hard under foot. The shower drain was clearly blocked and it smelled like this was causing a back surge when other utilities were used. The lack of dinning choices was also disappointing. The staff here were really nice, so can't fault them. But the place is clearly in need of a refit, my room showed signs that it's suffered from a leak from the room above!! Considering the price and that of it's local competitors, really not worth using.

The room was a good size but smelt of cigatettes and Im a non smoker...needed some painting and the heater serviiced and fixed as it was cold in the evenings... You hear everyomes door closing so maybe some cushioning in tbe doors so you dont here them close shut The bed was just right and the shower was lovely and big...naybe thicker carpets so you dont hear the upstairs...but as fir a 2 star it was good....

The reception staff were friendly. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean.I arrived at 2340hrs and had to leave early. The carpet was so dirty from the room entrance. It looked like someone vomitted all over the carpet and no one cleaned and it dried. Then the cleaner just came in and hoovered over it and left it at that. I paid £74 per night. I would not pay £30 for a room like that. The view was a garbage i deserve a discount and apology . I was in room 101.I wouldn't be surprised if nothing has changed to date.

Clean and comfortable. As usual with all places, more teabags and milk required! A waste bin in the bedroom as well as bathroom would be helpful as well. We had some noise around 2:30am from drunk residents, but nothing too much. This, obviously, wasn't't the fault of the hotel.

Hotel reception is good but the rooms are terrible. Bed was uncomfortable, stains (god know’s from what) painted over on the walls, bathroom looks like something from a 1 star ferry, tv didn’t work. Glad it was only 1 night.

I stayed for 18 nights. The bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was very small, but functional. Temperatures were fairly high for the UK in September and the room was unbearably hot, the cooling system was not turned on at all during this time. I had to keep the window open and buy myself a small desk fan so I could sleep. This alone fell below expectations for any modern hotel. In addition, although my room was made up daily (unless I requested them not to) it only got vacuumed once or twice during my entire stay, which was noticeable. Overall a fairly decent budget hotel that had some serious shortcomings that could easily be rectified. Simple things like maintaining temperature control and basic cleaning really shouldn't have to be pointed out though.

The hotel and room itself was nice... Friendly staff, very clean. I was just confused by the bathroom pod.... Like it was a curved wall.... With a straight door that didn't quite fit the gap, the toilet flush was so loud it woke my partner. Minor things that just stick out in my mind

Breakfast on first day no problem. On second, we were told by staff we had not paid for the breakfast we were eating. Then the manageress confronted us in a loud voice so that other guests could hear, and said we had not paid for breakfast. Very embarrassing, What went wrong with the booking system please? The Hull Ibis is a very good value-for-money hotel. It is an easy walking distance to Hull train station. The rooms are clean and functional with comfortable bed and really good shower with lots of hot water. The staff are very friendly making it a pleasure to stay at the Ibis. I stayed at the Hull Ibis last year as well as this year and intend to stay there next year when I next visit Hull.

This is my go to hotel whenever I'm in Hull. The speed of check-in, the friendliness of ALL the staff: reception, bar, hygiene they are a credit to the place. It's perfectly placed too, just a short walk from the railway station and the marina, close to great shopping areas too, but more importantly it's ideally situated for exploring Old Town.

Staff lost part of my property. Upon complaining they did not take action and totally ignored my request to rectify matters. My request to speak to a manager was ignored as well. This hotel in Hull is certainly a hotel I will never visit again.

It was fine,breakfast (which had to be booked on advance) was mostly cold and overcooked,Not the breakfast the cost hinted at.Eat all you want is ok if you can eat it.Staff were pleasant and helpfull .Shower was very good and HOT always a good thing. Bathroom smelled a bit,no idea from where.Hotel cleaners knew as when we entered room they must have bleached it to death.
