Pictures on travel agents' website amplify the overall hotel offerings. Dated hotel with amenities falling apart, room is small. The services rendered by front desk (in particular Mike) and breakfast lady are excellent. Breakfast has limited range but adequate considering the price paid, it's of value. Location is not as convenient or near to food, transportation or shopping.

Lad dig ikke snyde af billederne vedrørende værelserne! Vi oplevede 2 forskellige værelser (efter vi brokkede os over det første) Værelse 1: lever bestemt ikke op til Roms egene stjerne-krav. Havde problemer med at vende mig i den lille bruser, men var alligevel ved at falde flere gange. Toilettet kunne ikke rulle ud og kom ikke til at virke (trods flere forklaringer og forsøg af personalet) en konstant lugt af kloak og en aircondition som ikke virkede. Vi kunne høre alt inde fra naboværelset. Vi havde to overnatninger her. Værelse 2: meget bedre, på dette værelse var der plads til at kunne pakke kufferterne ud, en hyggeligt lille sofa og en altan som havde plads til 1 person. Badeværelse var fint, men havde glasdøre så man kunne se den anden være på toilet og det kunne desværre heller ikke her kunne rulle ud og her lugtede frygteligt hele tiden. Bruseren var dog en ganske ok størrelse og ikke en skøjtehal Dette værelse kunne næsten mørklægges, set bort fra projektøren af lys der kom ude fra gangen hele natten og under døren. airconditionen virkede på intet tidspunkt så valget var mellem at blive ædt af myg eller koge ihjel. Det var meget lydt og vi kunne høre nabohunden gør fra ca.7 til 22 (hvilket selvfølgelig ikke er hotellets skyld) Vi betalte for parkering(i hotellets lille gårdhave med plads til 3 biler) men fik alligevel en bule i bilen. Personalet(særligt den unge mand) var en fornøjelse. Morgenmaden var ok. Ok afstand til metro og seværdigheder.

Mysig lobby/innegård och trevligt med en i personalen som pratade svenska. Men små rum som inte var vidare välstädade eller väl omhändertagna; dammigt, mögelfläckar i badrummet och små myror längst golvlisterna. Trots 38 grader så fanns det bara en fläkt på rummet, hade förväntat mig AC i varma Rom. Låg lite utanför city men nära till både buss, spårvagn och tunnelbana för att ta sig runt. Trist dock att det inte fanns några vidare restauranger runt omkring, då fick man ta sig in till city. Det nämndes heller inte någonstans att turisttaxan på 7,80 EUR/pers/natt var tvunget att betalas kontant - hotellet hade heller inte växel till detta. Men trevlig frukost som hade det som behövdes och även en liten bar med dryck att beställas under dagen/kvällen. Hade dock önskat tidigare frukoststart än 7:30 för att kunna äta och gå iväg för att undvika turisttiderna ute vid monumenten.

Great location, friendly staff, nice outside area and reception. Room was a bit small (as to be expected). We were woken up by the cleaner very early making noise outside and the breakfast didn’t go past 0930 which seems a little early. Bathroom also needs decor updating. However, the shower was large, overall experience was good and the price was reasonable.

I really enjoyed my stay. Accommodations were nice. Breakfast was perfect and most importantly the staff is wonderful. They could not have been more helpful and kind. The courtyard is a relaxing and tranquil space. I met fellow patrons and the service was spot on. Highly recommend!

A charming, well-kept hotel within walking distance from the heart of Rome. The courtyard where you enter is a nice, quiet place to relax and eat or drink; the decor in the lobby and lounge area is bright and vibrant; our room was cozy and clean, and served as a great home from which to plan our trips each day. But the best part by far is the staff! They were all friendly and helpful, but Angela was the standout for us, offering advice and recommendations not only for our stay in Rome, but also our upcoming stay in Naples. As a Napoli native, she was an expert on both cities. All of her recommendations for sight-seeing, food and drink, etc. were top notch, and provided us some great experiences we wouldn't have found otherwise. She was friendly, funny, and charming — talking with us like we were old friends, and making us feel right at home on our first night in the city. We will definitely be staying again the next time we visit Rome!

I usually never write reviews for hotel stays, but I just want to share that our time at Hotel Emona Aquaeductus was AMAZING! The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. They were great in answering my emails when I had basic questions (this was our first trip to Europe, so we had many). Every time we came and went from the hotel, the staff greeted us like family. There is someone at the front desk 24/7. The location might not be for everyone since it was about a 20 minute walk to the center of the city (Colosseum, Roman Forum, etc.), but we personally enjoyed the walk.

We only spent one night here. Hotel Staff was extremely helpful and gave great recommendations for dinner and called us a taxi the morning we were leaving. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast (cost 10 Euros each) was totally worth it and really good: coffee, meats, cheeses, eggs, pastries, Nutella, juice, etc. Hotel has a nice courtyard area perfect for enjoying some vino after dinner. There is a grocery store a few blocks away. Lots of options for dinner a short walk away. While the area outside the hotel wasn’t great, the hotel was perfect and felt safe. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the Colosseum.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was nice to be a little away from all the activity in Rome, but still accessible. The room was clean and the bed was amazing. It was surprisingly quiet as well. We thoroughly enjoyed the staff, especially Vladimir. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and take care of all of our needs. We will definitely be back!

The hotel is a gem, beautiful exterior and interior, wonderful staff, very clean, the owner is super nice. It is a pleasure to come back to the quiet location after the Rome crowds and noise, very relaxing.

The bedroom was clean and the bed was very comfortable for sleeping, bathroom clean and a great shower. Breakfast was excellent and the waitress was very helpful and I can say that about all the staff on reception as well any information we asked they for gave us an answer. Outside the hotel is the Roman Aquaduct which is very impressive which goes on for miles but could do with a good clean up. Not far from the Metro and the Colosseum which we walked to. I would stay there again.

Upon entering the room there was a foul smell of sewage. We had to open all the windows to get rid of the smell. After a long day exploring Rome , coming back to the room was the same smell. It was so gross and disturbing. In addition the front desk lady told us we had to pay the tourist tax with cash. They didn’t accept card payment. We thought this was weird but attempted to search for cash options since we didn’t bring Euros with us. The morning of check out I explained to an older front desk lady that I could not take out cash at the atm. She said ok and pulled out the pos system so I can pay with my card. Upon entering the room there was a foul smell of sewage. We had to open all the windows to get rid of the smell. After a long day exploring Rome , coming back to the room was the same smell. It was so gross and disturbing. In addition the front desk lady told us we had to pay the tourist tax with cash. They didn’t accept card payment. We thought this was weird but attempted to search for cash options since we didn’t bring Euros with us. The morning of check out I explained to an older front desk lady that I could not take out cash at the atm. She said ok and pulled out the pos system so I can pay with my card. Lad dig ikke snyde af billederne vedrørende værelserne! Vi oplevede 2 forskellige værelser (efter vi brokkede os over det første) Værelse 1: lever bestemt ikke op til Roms egene stjerne-krav. Havde problemer med at vende mig i den lille bruser, men var alligevel ved at falde flere gange. Toilettet kunne ikke rulle ud og kom ikke til at virke (trods flere forklaringer og forsøg af personalet) en konstant lugt af kloak og en aircondition som ikke virkede. Vi kunne høre alt inde fra naboværelset. Vi havde to overnatninger her. Værelse 2: meget bedre, på dette værelse var der plads til at kunne pakke kufferterne ud, en hyggeligt lille sofa og en altan som havde plads til 1 person. Badeværelse var fint, men havde glasdøre så man kunne se den anden være på toilet og det kunne desværre heller ikke her kunne rulle ud og her lugtede frygteligt hele tiden. Bruseren var dog en ganske ok størrelse og ikke en skøjtehal Dette værelse kunne næsten mørklægges, set bort fra projektøren af lys der kom ude fra gangen hele natten og under døren. airconditionen virkede på intet tidspunkt så valget var mellem at blive ædt af myg eller koge ihjel. Det var meget lydt og vi kunne høre nabohunden gør fra ca.7 til 22 (hvilket selvfølgelig ikke er hotellets skyld) Vi betalte for parkering(i hotellets lille gårdhave med plads til 3 biler) men fik alligevel en bule i bilen. Personalet(særligt den unge mand) var en fornøjelse. Morgenmaden var ok. Ok afstand til metro og seværdigheder.

Great location, friendly staff, nice outside area and reception. Room was a bit small (as to be expected). We were woken up by the cleaner very early making noise outside and the breakfast didn’t go past 0930 which seems a little early. Bathroom also needs decor updating. However, the shower was large, overall experience was good and the price was reasonable.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was nice to be a little away from all the activity in Rome, but still accessible. The room was clean and the bed was amazing. It was surprisingly quiet as well. We thoroughly enjoyed the staff, especially Vladimir. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and take care of all of our needs. We will definitely be back!

A charming, well-kept hotel within walking distance from the heart of Rome. The courtyard where you enter is a nice, quiet place to relax and eat or drink; the decor in the lobby and lounge area is bright and vibrant; our room was cozy and clean, and served as a great home from which to plan our trips each day. But the best part by far is the staff! They were all friendly and helpful, but Angela was the standout for us, offering advice and recommendations not only for our stay in Rome, but also our upcoming stay in Naples. As a Napoli native, she was an expert on both cities. All of her recommendations for sight-seeing, food and drink, etc. were top notch, and provided us some great experiences we wouldn't have found otherwise. She was friendly, funny, and charming — talking with us like we were old friends, and making us feel right at home on our first night in the city. We will definitely be staying again the next time we visit Rome!

Best hotel service I’ve ever had. They were so nice always making suggestions (if we wanted them), calling cars to and from airport for us, you could chat with them, they were all very friendly. We went to Amalfi for a few days and came back and they let us leave a couple bags so we didn’t have to drag them to and from Amalfi. They were in our new room when we arrived! Best service ever!

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly, professional and service minded. The quadruple room was clean with a beautiful high ceiling and had a nice balcony with a lovely view of the surroundings with the ancient wall. The hotel is well situated less than 20 min walk from the Termini central station, and 7 min walk to the metro. You can easily walk to the Colosseum only 30 min away.

The hotel is very cleverly photographed. But in reality, is a run-down BnB with minuscule rooms. We booked the "romantic view of the aqueducts" room and it was like staying in a closet. Also the entire are around the hotel is covered in graffiti. Didn't exactly feel safe.

For en så høy pris burde man forvente mye mer fra dette hotellet. Rommet var alt for lite for 4 personer. Kloakklukt fra avløpsrør og støy fra dårlig isolerte vinduer gjorde oppholdet ubehagelig. Frokost mot ekstra betaling hadde veldig lite utvalg til å være et 4 stjernes hotell. Jeg vil ikke anbefale dette hotellet.

I really enjoyed my stay. Accommodations were nice. Breakfast was perfect and most importantly the staff is wonderful. They could not have been more helpful and kind. The courtyard is a relaxing and tranquil space. I met fellow patrons and the service was spot on. Highly recommend!

We only spent one night here. Hotel Staff was extremely helpful and gave great recommendations for dinner and called us a taxi the morning we were leaving. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast (cost 10 Euros each) was totally worth it and really good: coffee, meats, cheeses, eggs, pastries, Nutella, juice, etc. Hotel has a nice courtyard area perfect for enjoying some vino after dinner. There is a grocery store a few blocks away. Lots of options for dinner a short walk away. While the area outside the hotel wasn’t great, the hotel was perfect and felt safe. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the Colosseum.

I can't speak highly enough about the hotel staff, they were so kind and helpful during our stay. The hotel itself was clean and well kept with fantastic AC (which was very necessary during this heat wave!). The location is a bit out of the way of most tourist attractions, but still walkable to things like the colosseum or Trevi fountain. There are some really great local spots near by as well. Only thing is to be vigilant when walking home at night- some spots are not well lit and can feel a little dodgy.

We stayed 3 nights. Our room was small and there was no closet or drawers to store our clothes. The bathroom was very small, especially the shower which measured 2.5ft x 2.5ft. that I could hardly move around in the shower. Also, the toilet was very close to the shower which made it difficult to sit down comfortably. If you're tall or big, I'd think twice before staying here. Gorgeous, quiet hotel with the friendliest staff, modern amenities in the room and everything is very clean. Breakfast simple but great quality and filled us up until our evening meal. 15 min walk to the Colosseum and 15 mins walk to Terminal 1 which is also where the Big Bus tour has a stop. Found nicer, more authentic restaurants in this area. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
