Wingate by Wyndham Owensboro

We stayed tin owensboro ky at 51 bon harborhills. We paid for our pet to be with us and a late checkout. I had surgery scheduled for today. My husband dropped me off at the hospital went back to the hotel to check on her dog. We had to do not disturb sign out on the door. he goes in our dog is missing. He is panicking runs around, trying to find him our room was by the stairs. He goes downstairs and finds the dog running around the downstairs hallway. No one even noticed and he not came back when he did. Our dog could’ve went right out the door and got hit or been stolen by someone when he found a dog and went back upstairs to the room to pack the rest of our things up one of the maids she was really short with dark black hair was kept banging on the door trying to get in. Why did we pay for a late checkout if they were gonna be banging on our door and coming in anyway I want to know who let my dog out ! And why they were in our room when we weren’t there was a do not disturb !?we asked the staff what went on why someone was even going in our door with the do not disturb sign on the door? We got no answers at all. I feel like someone was in our room trying to steal stuff while we were gone. I don’t know why else they would come in when we had a late checkout and we had to do not disturb sign hanging on the door this place is a freaking joke. Do not ever stay there ! This place is terrible fir customer service snd basic respect for its guests

BED BUGS!! Just left my dr office with medicine to cover my MULTIPLE bed bug bites. Absolutely horrible!!

The rooms were very nice, the breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was a little outdated and I didnt care for the sink being in our room versus normal bathroom's having the sink in the bathroom. It looked like it was an old hotel that was partially refurbished. It was at the end of the bypass which made it easy to hop on the bypass but far from businesses and shops. But the staff was very friendly and kind. Overall I give it a 4.5 . Nice.
