The location is excellent with friendly staff. However, it is a bit inconvenience to leave the room key every time you leave the hotel. The staff had given me other people’s room key. It seems not that safe. The room design is not good. It's too dark and there is no electric socket right next to the main table for charging the labtop. There are two sockets available next to the bed, but they are installed very close to the floor, and a long wire is needed. Shampoo and shower gel are available, but the pumps of the containers are not functioning properly and dirty. The floor is covered with dust. That's the reason why the room is so dark.

The black and white decor of Room 411 was quirky and imaginative BUT there were serious issues relating to power points and lighting . Two power points , low on the floor by the beds, were practically inaccessible for elderly people like us. There was another half way up the wall by the toilet door which was unusable. There were no power points on the desktop, where they were needed. There was another under the desk but very low down in the corner where it literally couldn’t be seen without using the light in my iPhone. The two standard lamps on either side of the bed could only be switched off by getting out of bed and stepping on them. Very annoying! The single ceiling light was not directed at the desk but in the eyes of the people in the bed! Lastly the black half of the room never lightened up - the black paint simply absorbed any light which came from the window. The lighting issues meant that the room was simply depressing. When we return to Maastricht we will not be using your hotel. A comment acknowledging receipt of this comment would be welcome.

We had a great time. Easy to get to form Q-Park De Griend, quiet and near the station. Service was top notch. Baby bed costs extra, but was prepared for us. We will come back for sure!
