As other reviewers have said, older property in need of tlc but meanwhile was in a super town centre location which was surprisingly unnoisy on a Saturday night/Sunday morning, felt homely, kept clean, staff super helpful with useful no charge bag storage on departure day. Didn't miss restaurant in hotel as surrounded by a, huge choice of eateries. I would recommend to like-minded, friends. But you would be disappointed if you were after luxury!

Rooms were basic and dated and would benefit from a refurb, having said that my room was clean and ok. Towels and beding were good and hot water was plentiful. Staff were friendly and helpful and parking was fine. Great high street location. Pictures are of the premium rooms I suspect. Basic but good value for money. No bar or restaurant facilities, but plenty nearby.

There is no lift. The place is like a maze. The mattresses need replacing they creak even louder than the floorboards. My partner turned over and it made so much noise I thought he had fell out of bed. If ghere were staff I did not see them .
