Stayed 2 nights

On arriving the property was very difficult to find and when l did find it my room was occupied by someone else. I was given the room next-door which was dark and unwelcoming. Neither the room or the surroundings were as advertised, photos were totally misleading. I was absolutely discussed by the level of cleanliness and left immediately finding myself having to find somewhere else to stay at 8.30 in the evening and £364 out of pocket. Will not be using Expedia ever again!!

We had booked three rooms out for ourselves and other family members. The property is in a brilliant location. There is no onsite service parking but free parking outside the front of the property. The entry instructions given were clear. All of the rooms had everything that you need in there. They are not very big rooms but big enough if only used to sleep in which is what we used it for. There was a well stocked welcome basket in each room which was a lovely touch which contained sweets, crisps, biscuits and bottled water. There are shops within walking distance of there is more that you need. We would happily stay here again

I would not recommend this property which I will explain below. When you arrive at the property you go through a corridor to a courtyard that has 4 rooms. The courtyard was nice but unfortunately it is all gravel which makes pulling suitcases difficult. The twin room is called the Hobbit Hole and it truly is. This is a room about the size of a walk in closet with a bed squeezed in horizontally and one vertically, neither bed has room for a night stand or lamp. There is a small desk between the side of one bed and the end of the other. There is hardly any room to open your suitcase on the floor and nowhere to unpack items, we used the windowsill. When you enter the room it opens directly into the shower part of the bathroom with a barn door separating it from the bed area. The barn door is not installed well or the walls are uneven as it was very difficult to roll it open and closed. There are no towel racks to hang towels in the bathroom, no heat in bathroom so cold slick floors, in the bed area there is a piece of wood glued to the wall with 5 or 6 hangars to hang clothes, there is no closet. We paid £388 for 3 nights and it honestly was not worth more than £25 per night. I honestly think the owner should be ashamed to charge this for a room that I would doubt meets fire and safety guidelines. The only positive is the location which is only a block from the train station. I have pictures if required.

The property photo advertising Bankview is a total con and does not relate to the accomodation in any way, the photo is FALSE. The shower waste in both rooms stank, the hot water in room 2 sink was non existant. Both rooms, 4 in total are located in converted outbuildings in the garden of a dilapidated high st cottage through which you have to pass to reach the rooms. Received emails from person responsible for digital keylock access with wrong number compared to previously received. DO NOT STAY AT THESE PREMISES, POORLY REPRESENTATIVE OF THE COTSWOLDS
