The room had roaches everywhere! There was even one crawling across the bed when i walked into the room! They advertised ice and vending machines, but had neither. And,, the outside pane of the double-paned window was broken, most of it was missing.

There was roaches in our room. Pool was closed, people were selling drugs. We stayed one night left the very next morning. Also the second security lock was broken off, ceiling had cracks and fallen drywall in bathroom. We seen multiple roaches, headboard very dirty, bed skirts filthy with stains.

I booked it for two nights because it was cheap... there is a reason it was cheap! The bottom of the stairs were rotting, someone had broken into the fire extinguisher and left the case open, the door would not even properly open! On top of that, the elevator probably needs to be out of service, and it smelt like someone had peed in there. When we got to the room, the only light that worked was the bathroom light. There were roaches, and it looked like they only changed the bedding and didn't clean the room. When I had gone back to the lady to tell her we were going some where else, she told me I would have to through a third party to get a refund because I had pre-paid.

One of our rooms had a broken window partially filled with a piece of wood. One had no working lights. Both were missing smoke detectors, but did have the exposed wiring. We had a bathroom with a door that would not close. The elevator smelled of urine once you found it in the unlit courtyard.

There was roaches in the room. Yeah, no pool as advertised in the pictures. Stairwell's broken down rusted. Ice machine not working. They serve toast for breakfast and coffee and said it was an international breakfast. I was very unhappy.

The loitering all around the property into the early morning 2am. Yelling, people arguing, have to step over people on the steps. Staff does nothing when ask them to address the noise. I felt very unsafe. Don't ask for extra towels. Wifi is very limited. If your staying for a few hours you'll be fine. No pool. Dog poop everywhere. Dogs not on leashes. Do not recommend

First off, the pool looks to have been out of order for some time. As this and breakfast are my search criteria, I was quite annoyed that it was advertised in the search. Soon after checking in I noticed a cockroach on the side of the bed. I hoped it was a one-off, but later that night when I woke up to use the restroom I noticed two more of them scurrying around the sink where I had laid my toothbrush. In the morning I noticed another one when I picked up my child’s backpack from the floor. I tried to inform the staff when I came down for breakfast, but they were locked up and no breakfast was put out. I didn’t see breakfast out either day off or stay during the advertised times. Before I came back for the second night I called the desk and asked if they could spray out the room for cockroaches and they said they would. When we got back hours later the desk had no log off that and no housekeeping to verify if it had been done. When I got back to the room it was apparent nothing had been done as I was greeted by more lovely cockroaches on the wall.

Absolutely filthy. Our room smelled like smoke, our sheets had stains all over, holes and even cigarette burns. Filth all around the property. We slept with our coats on. Disgusting. Hopefully we didn’t bring bed bug home with us.

I guess you sometimes do "get what you pay for!" We reserved two rooms at this hotel because is was affordable and it's location was less than 10 minutes to the convention we were attending for the weekend... well, it was dirty, shady, and simply unpleasant. We killed cockroaches IN OUR BEDS, on our counters, and in the bathroom, every single day we were there, and not just one or two, SEVERAL. The free breakfast was only cold cereal, and there were cockroaches running all over the tables too... simply disgusting. I'm surprised the Department of Health hasn't shut this place down already. Too bad, the location is great, but boy, that was horrible.

Trash all over the property. Loud patrons on stairwells and balconies until 3 AM. Dirt all over the hotel room floor. Toilet seat was loose and slid halfway off toilet when sitting. hotel room bed sagged significantly in the middle. Husband did not feel comfortable, leaving me outside alone. I would not recommend. Like Motel 6, but worse.

The front check in went quickly but I had to go back because they gave us a room on the 3rd floor, it was a long walk to the elevator from the parking lot & then to the room. They did switch our room to a ground floor handicap room but there were missing parts in the floor, the bed dipped in the middle, the chair was broken & the had the makings for coffee but no coffee pot. The sign on the door said the lobby opened at 6, there was a bell which I rang, waited 10 min & no one answered. I finally saw people going in the lobby after 8 am. I addressed the issue with the room, the lobby not being open & no one answering the doorbell. I was told nothing could be done about the room as I had already paid, the only have certain rooms with coffee pots and the lobby opens at 8.

First, let me suggest you tie your shoes and run the other direction. It was suggested that I look at the room before I take the room. I asked if there was problem in the room like bugs etc. Clerk saw I paid for both rooms upfront and stated that was our acceptance of the room. Had purchased 2 superior double queen rooms. 4 queen beds total. Rooms 307 and 311. * Room smelled horrible, getting stronger at night through the hole on bathroom wall. * The queen beds were actually full size beds. * After striping bed, found the mattress cover was zipped around and old stained mattress that smelled horribly. * Bathroom floor smelled of urine, the dog has clawed off paint off bathroom door. * Room 307 the hairdryer caught on fire. * Did not have coffee pot * In both rooms, the new floors did not connect together, gaps of between 1 and 6 inch gaps between the ends. * Continental breakfast consisted of sandwich bread, some of it toasted and a tub of butter. * The daily cleaning only takes place on Tuesday and Thursday according to the maid. *Was not a real safe place. People hanging around the cars outside and women of the night walking around in very very high heels with socks lurking around corners. * No rollaway beds to fit everyone since there was full size beds instead of queens. * Clerk was rude and refused to listen to anyone, just said leave if not happy. *Hotel.com did it's best to work with hotel.They gave me money towards my next hotel stay. Give them 4.5 out of 5

The hotel is run down. My first room had no hot water and the shower handle just spins around and around. There was a hole around the handle, due to poorly done installation, saw roaches and other bugs, phone wasn't even plugged in, stunk like weed and cigarettes, the list goes on. I had to ask for a better room, as this was disgusting. The second room was slightly better.

Worst Management. There are roaches in the rooms. Worst of all I saw roaches around the breakfast section and around the toasters as well. The key card doesn't work as expected. I had to go every single time and get it updated. I was going to check out in the morning and the lobby door was locked and no one is present in the lobby. I tried to call so expected them to open the door. There hasn't been any breakfast served during my entire stay. There's no water provided as well. The stairs are broken, appliances in the room are broken, furniture is full of awkward marks on it. All in, I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here.

I had to go every single time and get it updated. I was going to check out in the morning and the lobby door was locked and no one is present in the lobby. I tried to call so expected them to open the door. There hasn't been any breakfast served during my entire stay. There's no water provided as well. The stairs are broken, appliances in the room are broken, furniture is full of awkward marks on it. All in, I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here.

Upon check in. The front desk was dirty, the receptionist was hard to understand, and not very helpful. Once we went to our first room the window was boarded up with broken glass on room floor. I went back to desk and said I wasn't sleeping in a room with broken window. The man took us to another room, that room had no lighting. Finally the 3rd room we settled on. Beds where clean and comfortable, and shower was hot. Do not expect breakfast as there is not. You get what you pay for yes but in all our family travels have I never felt soooo unsafe

The lady at the front dest was extremely rude and kicked us out because made a complaint. She wouldn't even allow us yo stay in the room until our Uber came. She threatened to call the police if we didn't leave immediately. Iwould never stay there ever nor suggest that anyone else stays there!

The room was dirty. There was hair all over the place sheets were never changed bathtub had hair in it. There were people out selling drugs. People were living in the hotel paperwork outside the building panhandling it was awful staff wanted to charge $30 to check in at 11 AM staff would not refund for the hotel room But said if I check out, I would still be charged.

Upon pulling up there was nothing aesthetically pleasing about this facility to our family. It looked more like a run down apartment community. There was a strong marijuana smell in the lobby, some of the room windows were literally boarded up and the property looked one step away from being condemned. My kids cried at the thought of spending 5 minutes there. There were also people walking around the parking lot peering into vehicles. We did walk into the room to look, but quickly realized this was not a safe and secure location to stay so we turned our keys back in to the front desk and found another hotel.

Read the reviews, the 6.8 (good) rating is impossible. It was absolutely as bad as most of the reviews said. I really can't believe Hotels.com even keeps this property as an offering on their site. The young girl at the front desk was nice. That's the extent of anything positive. Dirty/dusty rooms, broken fixtures, dangerous surroundings. All in all was a great budget friendly stay if you’re not looking for anything fancy, just a place to rest your head for a few days. Clean bedding shower essentials (sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, wash clothes) as to be expected. Spacious sized room, friendly and helpful staff, located near the interstate made it convenient to get around town easily. No complaints from me! I would stay at the property again no questions asked.

the hotel itself was not a safe place to stay. the first thing the clerk said was do you want to look at the room before you decide to stay. we did not stay. not clean on the outside several young men running around, made us nervous. did not feel safe.

The loitering all around the property into the early morning 2am. Yelling, people arguing, have to step over people on the steps. Staff does nothing when ask them to address the noise. I felt very unsafe. Don't ask for extra towels. Wifi is very limited. If your staying for a few hours you'll be fine. No pool. Dog poop everywhere. Dogs not on leashes. Do not recommend

You booked me a room at Budget Inn, yet the sign and all the badging says Baymont. Very difficult to find among all the other hotels here. It definitely smelled clean on arrival, the room was decent for the price. But breakfast took the cake!! They literally layed out a loaf of bread and a tub of country crock butter!!! I was beyond disappointed!! Now I have to go order my own breakfast.

First off, the pool looks to have been out of order for some time. As this and breakfast are my search criteria, I was quite annoyed that it was advertised in the search. Soon after checking in I noticed a cockroach on the side of the bed. I hoped it was a one-off, but later that night when I woke up to use the restroom I noticed two more of them scurrying around the sink where I had laid my toothbrush. In the morning I noticed another one when I picked up my child’s backpack from the floor. I tried to inform the staff when I came down for breakfast, but they were locked up and no breakfast was put out. I didn’t see breakfast out either day off or stay during the advertised times. Before I came back for the second night I called the desk and asked if they could spray out the room for cockroaches and they said they would. When we got back hours later the desk had no log off that and no housekeeping to verify if it had been done. When I got back to the room it was apparent nothing had been done as I was greeted by more lovely cockroaches on the wall.

I was expecting a nice getaway to relax and I noticed the property had local people living in the motel. Although, I definitely understand the climate we’re living in so, I’m not complaining about the people but, I wasn’t expecting to see that type of activity at the motel. But I ended up staying somewhere else where I felt better and had the time to relax a little.

These pics are deceiving. There are no comfy chairs in the rooms, which I specifically stated that I needed to sleep in when I reserved the room, bc I cant sleep flat. In the first room the headboard was torn off. In the second room, the bathroom had at least twenty dead roaches. I wanted my money back and they wouldn't do it until I went through Hotels.com. It was very late. I was exhausted form driving all day and I had to wait twenty mins for anyone to answer. Once an agent came on they were able to help me. What a pain. The health inspector needs to visit to this place. It also just doesn't feel safe. .
