Alan and Aiden, lovely hosts, who could not do enough for you. The lazy lizard was possibly the cleanest motel I’ve ever stayed in. The pool was fantastic, crystal clear water and the perfect temperature. As a family of four we were very comfortable in the room. Beds were excellent. Definitely recommend lazy lizard.

Hi, The stay was comfortable, and check in was smooth. The rooms have microwave and fridge. It would have been perfect, if we had the wifi. We were on the boat for 4 days just before coming here, and I needed to check my messages, emails and do a bit of work, confirm future reservations. We had arrived late and informed them earlier. One of the reason to stay in PD and not in Daintree village was that I needed the wifi but both days, the wifi was not working at the property - which was a major issue for us. We arrived both days after 11 PM and left quite early.

We stayed here hoping there may be kids thrre was not. But we downgraded from our previous property. Would not return here. Alex on Reception was lovely and gave us great suggestions. The other man made us feel uncomfortable and like he was waiting for us to leave to clean our room. He left his cleaning trolley in the walkway outside our room. I did not like this at all especially as it was there from about 7-8am. Check out is 10. We were 1 of 2 rooms rented with gueats still in the room. It was $7 for the washing macjine not $4 like everywhere else. Room was very clean and tidy. Pool was squashed in corner outside reception felt like being kept an eye on.

Alex and Aiden run a lovely motel just outside the downtown area of Port Douglas. Coffee, biscuits and milk are a welcome touch in the room. Small kitchen is perfect for short stay. Pool was very nice. Walked across road to 4 mile beach and enjoyed being slightly away from the main streets of PD. Easy walk into town via harbour, lots of great advice from Alex and Aiden.
