I booked my room twice this week through Expedia, it was very easy to book and pay, there is a cheap laundry available in the building & staff is co operative. Front desk & house keeping is very attentive. The pool area is also nice, clean and cozy!!

We had a good stay. A few hiccups but the staff were good about helping us out and smoothing things over. A quick few pros: - the pool is indoors, across from the lobby. - dinning is in a restaurant right next to the hotel & there are many other options within walking distance - places to shop are also in walking Distance - generally the place was clean and the staff were really nice. The cons were: - the ac in our room was damaged due to a previous storm and noise was so loud that we had to change rooms the following morning. - the pool is a bit small so if the hotel is busy you won’t get a chance to use it. - there are no adjoining rooms.

The AC in the room was noisy. I enjoyed swimming in the pool. My key did not work at first, then they switched it. The room was clean and there is a parking with a charger for electrical cars though charging is for a fee.

King bed room was tired and needs a remodel (tired wallpaper, carpet starting to fray, etc), overall room was tiny and felt very cramped for a room meant for two (felt like we were both in the way moving around, no floor space for suitcases or anything like exercising). Bathroom was also tiny (the towel rack is IN the shower proper). In-room coffee maker is nice and well stocked, but nowhere to get things like cream or sugar so hope you like black. Pool is nice though, even if small(ish). Staff was courteous.

Didn't like my experience at all. The staff was nice, I can't complain about that. The elevator did not work so I had to transport my heavy equipment up the stairs. The hotel uses very strong perfume probably to cover up smells and I needed to use my asthma pump 5 times during the night. The room was not very clean, very old furnishing. The bed was as hard as rock. The pillows are very tiny, it's a good thing that there was 4. I had a pet but could not open the window to get rid of the heavy smell of cover up perfume because there was no window screen. We could hear absolutely everything that was going on in the hallway, no insulation. Wasn't able to control the heat in the room, in the evening it was freezing cold, in the morning is was scorching hot. I would of wanted to go to the pool but the door and windows to the pool are facing the lobby but they are not frosted so everyone in the lobby can see you, there were a few men just sitting in the lobby talking so my daughter and I didn't feel at ease going to the pool. I would not go back or recommend this hotel.

Front desk staff were nice and check in was easy but the room was very musty. The sheets were clean but the carpeting was very dirty, so much so I didnt want to go barefoot in the room. Luckily we were able to open the window which made the musty smell bearable. Wouldn't stay here again though.

Hotel overall was decent, staff are fantastic and helpfull. Room was updated. Beds are not the greatest but still fair. Pool was too busy with kids to use it myself. Walls are thin. You could hear neighbors on both side quite clear, having our TV on helped mask the noise.

On the positive side, the room I booked is spacious and have everything needed (although there’s no safe; it would’ve been great if there was a safe in the room). On the other hand, the entire building, including the room I stayed at and its furnitures, are old. The washroom can definitely have a renovation to make it more modern and clean. The air conditioner can also be updated to a more quiet option. The elevator in the building operates a little interestingly (since it’s old, it makes some noises and rough stops).

Room was outdated, bed was hard, pillows are like couch cushions they are small need 3 to make 1 pillow. Deposit is $ 200 when higher end hotels charge between $100- 150.. This hotel needs an upgrade for sure.

Check in was quick and smooth when we arrived. Front desk staff and housekeeping were all very friendly and helpful. We asked for additional pillows and they were in the room waiting for us when we returned that evening. We would definitely return whenever we come back to the Ottawa area, as well as recommend this Travelodge to others. Thank you for such a great stay!

The front entrance is not clearly marked with hotel sign almost impossible to find. Have to drive behind a gas station? Hotel and rooms clean. It's a basic hotel, nothing fancy but for the price its clean and works on a budget. They lack any inhouse food services however there is a restaurant beside it. They close early around 3 but do serve a decent breakfast. Other food options are 5 minutes away. This hotel is ideal for the business traveler.
