The Ambassador Seoul - A Pullman Hotel

Alles in allem war das Hotel in einem guten Zustand, jedoch gab es einige Mängel, die zu dieser drei Sterne Bewertung führen. Unser Zimmer war in der 18. Etage und hatte einen tollen Blick, auch die Ausstattung war aus unserer Sicht in Ordnung. In der 18. Etage befindet sich auch die Executive Lounge, weshalb es in dieser ganzen Etage stark nach Essen roch. die Teppichböden im Flur waren absolut fleckig, obwohl sie regelmäßig gesaugt wurden. Das machte auf uns keinen guten Eindruck. Der Service in der Executive Lounge war aus unserer Sicht eher kühl und wenig exklusiv. Es musste sogar eine Zeit gewählt werden, in der man die Lounge nutzt, was die freie Zeit-Gestaltung enorm einschränkt. Das Frühstück durfte nur in der Lounge eingenommen werden, obwohl wir ein Zimmer mit Frühstück gebucht hatten, und davon ausgegangen waren, dass wir das Frühstück auch im normalen Restaurant einnehmen können. Die Lounge war viel zu klein und es kam zu einer Schlange, wenn man nicht schon morgens um sechs frühstücken wollte. Ein großes minus ist auch der Extra Preis für den Outdoor Pool. Hier verlangt das Hotel je nach Tageszeit zwischen 20 und 30 €, um den Outdoor Pool zu nutzen. Das halte ich für ein Fünf Sterne Hotel nicht für angemessen, da sollte ein Pool schon inklusive sein. Es gab ein Innen Schwimmbad, hier wurde uns der Zutritt verwehrt, da wir keine Badekappe dabei hatten, diesen Pool hätten wir jedoch kostenlos nutzen können. Die Sauna war im Zimmerpreis inklusive und sehr schön.

Es war eigentlich akzeptabel aber weit von ausserordentlich entfernt. Man bekommt eine Karte fürs Zimmer ohne aktives Nachfragen. Nachteile: Frühstück nur bis 10 Uhr, Gym macht auch um 22 Uhr zu. Wasser im Gym kann man in einem dünnen Papierbecher trinken (Kapazität wsh 100ml).

Udendørs poolen var lukket da vi ankom, og indendørs poolen lukkede de 2 dage efter vores ankomst, virkelig ringe! Nogle af stikkontakterne virkede ikke på hotelværelset. Værelset var pænt, stor dejlig seng, personalet var hjælpsom, dog var der ikke mange af dem der kunne tale engelsk.

Excellent hôtel avec chambre spacieuse et une très belle vue. Petit déjeuner avec énormément de choix et une belle qualité et la piscine est également très agréable. Le métro est à environ 5 minutes ainsi que plusieurs arrêts de bus qui permettent d'aller partout assez rapidement.

The location was ok, not very far from the metro station but the airport busses don't go directly to this hotel, like it is the case with other 5* hotels in town. The rooms were clean and well equipped, the hotel felt very well maintained and cozy. Breakfast was really great, the only thing that my daughter was missing was toast bread as there was a toaster so people were just toasting baguettes, which became too hard. There were a few minor weaknesses, like having to ask for an iron twice but these things happen in every hotel and they were so small that they didn't ruin the whole experience. What I would change though is the additional charge for using the outside pool - this hotel is expensive enough so that both pools should simply be included for the guests. It's not about the money, it's about the feeling of exclusivity and of a 5* place, comparing with a cheap stay, where every service costs extra.

Near subway stop, direct limousine bus to and from airport, excellent dining at La Groceria, great outdoor Urban Oasis soaking pool, and extremely helpful staff.

It was a nice hotel with excellent breakfast. Staff was very attentive and an Australian and a French employee had great tips for how to explore the city! Thanks for a pleasant stay! Downside was the outside pool which would have cost 40USD per day to use this was mot cool!

Very nice hotel however, my only complaint would be the poor explanation during check in that the outdoor pool usage was an extra charge. We weren’t made aware of that until we went to use the pool and were told it was reserved for certain guests. The next day when I went to the front desk to inquire I was told my room didn’t include the pool, didn’t even know that was an additional fee when booking.

Room was clean. Staff was helpful. Great gym and pool area. Rooms are quiet. Would stay again.

Room comfort was good. Throughout my stay housekeeping replenishment was poor. had to ask almost daily for towels, coffee capsules etc. no more umbrellas to hand out on rainy day. I asked about VIP benefits on check in but was told they were NOT an Expedia VIP hotel.

객실도 깨끗하고 서비스도 너무 좋았습니다

전체적으로 매우 청결하고 침구 상태도 너무 좋아서 푹 잘잤습니다. 게다가 소음도 거의 없어 투숙객이 우리 밖에 없나 싶을 정도였습니다. 해피아워와 조식도 매우 훌륭해서 오랜만의 호캉스를 기분 좋게 보낼 수 있었습니다. 다음에도 또 이용하고 싶네요.

We spent four nights at the property in late Novemeber and early December of 2024 and was very happy with our stay. It's a clean, modern hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms, and the breakfast at the King's restaurant is outstanding. The location is good. It's a short walk from train stations and the Dongdaemon Design Plaza. I would definately stay at the property, again.

새로 리뉴얼해서 그런지 시설도 굉장히 청결하고 객실도 넓은 편입니다. 넷플릭스 옵션도 있어서 밤에 영화보기도 좋았습니다. 룸서비스 메뉴도 굿! 또 방문하겠습니다.

The cleaning staff didn’t sweep the carpet as chips were left on the floor from previous night. Shampoo was not refilled, tissue was not refilled. Shower door was loose. Main room door is slight misaligned thus requiring extra effort to close. Noise from adjacent room were audible almost every night of our 5 night stay. Two nights had couple arguing through out the night. No shops or restaurants within 10-12 mins of walking. This should be a 3-4 star hotel at best.

出差住了4晚，第2晚工作完回房間發現馬桶堵塞了，找工人員修理，弄得整個廁所全是髒水灑的我的洗漱用品全髒了，最後換了房間，新房間並沒有好些，房間清潔很馬虎，鏡子上面有手掌印，廁所地下有很多頭髮，有些頭髮還沾在牆上，床單鋪了薄薄的塵，床單上也有一兩條頭髮，很髒 ，隔音也不太好 半夜總聽到隔壁開門關門，街外的車聲

The room was very clean. Bed sheets were white, crisp, n clean. No orders. Bathroom was very clean. Housekeeping was excellent. The showers should have safety handles because the floors can be slippery. We had a very comfortable stay. Staff were very kind and professional. Also spoke English. The Ambassador- Pullman was a good choice!

アメニティ、バスタブもない。 バスタブが無いのであればきちんと分かりやすく掲載して欲しい。

The room felt really nice and chill. Amazing view with the breakfast feeling very balanced with different options. It was also very close to transportation so every part of Seoul felt very accessible

Room is clean and big with proper wardrobe to hang our coats and when are back. I love the nespresso machine in the room because I can make a cup of coffee easily.

Staff and service is great, location is great, only gripe about this hotel is that their air conditioning doesn’t work well, I think they turn it off for most months.

Quality experience, as expected of its 5-star status. One complaint: the room was hot (28°C), and since it was wintertime the entire building was set to heat-only. Smartphone and bedside temperature controls indicating "cool" mode and desired temperature had no effect, and I'm not sure why they exist if they don't work. I suppose maybe if I wanted to heat the room to 30°C for some unimaginable reason the control might work for that? To improve the temperature I opened the only window, a small one that opened a crack, and left it open for almost my entire stay. That made the room fall to a low of 23 and average of 26 over three days, which is still pretty warm. Staff provided me with a fan upon request, and I understand that there wasn't anything else they could do. I got the impression that this is just a fundamental issue with their centralized HVAC system or something so either everyone is on A/C or everyone gets heat, and you can't even close the vents in the room. Other than that everything was great, including room service.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Many room facilities were “smart” controlled which was great. Complimentary coffee and water was appreciated. Close by subway line but not a lot of things near the hotel. Not a bad thing.

The hotel offers a brilliant service, nothing is too much trouble. Every member of staff go out of their way to be helpful. However the room is extremely hot 27.5 degrees, we were unable to sleep for the two nights that we were there.

Unfortunately this hotel was a big disappointment from a service point of view: 1. At check in you are told that you can add breakfast to your booking. There is a cheaper early bird rate and an expensive rate if you book late. After deciding to take the early rate for the next morning I was told that this is only available before noon. Check in is at 2p.m. Why do you offer an early rate when it is impossible to book it at check in? 2. Having a status with the booking we should hav received a room upgrade. At request at the desk the hotel claimed they would not know of this program. After talking to the travel agency the answer was : All rooms were taken. Only problem was - you could still bokk different types of rooms for that night - so they basically tried to deflect first and then flat out lied. Sad... 3. The "towels" in the outdoor pool are the size of a doormat. Just a joke. You need 3 to 4 towels to dry yourself. All together the hotel itself is nice, but the service is abysmal and really the combination of the 5star brand and the worst service is making you feel unwelcome and we have never experienced such treatment on many years of travelling.

Very nice hotel however, my only complaint would be the poor explanation during check in that the outdoor pool usage was an extra charge. We weren’t made aware of that until we went to use the pool and were told it was reserved for certain guests. The next day when I went to the front desk to inquire I was told my room didn’t include the pool, didn’t even know that was an additional fee when booking.

Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is perfect in terms of quality and choices. Room was clean. Sauna and pool and other facilities were impeccable.

Front service staffs need to be more friendly w smile. Felt so different from Shilla Hotel staffs who really treated guests professionally.

Such helpful staff. We needed help with a few things and someone at the front desk was always available and willing to assist. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, the location was right near a subway station and multiple bus lines which get you everywhere you need. Get a t-money card & load with credit which lets you tap on and off to all trains and buses as you go. We didn’t dine at the hotel restaurant- plenty of walkable options nearby if you want to try them. The laundry service was way too expensive- you can just buy new items for the prices they charge!

It is nice hotel with excellent service in the restaurants and delicious food, excellent reception service and excellent room cleaning service, pool/yakuzzi etc. Rooms are comfortable, everything is working. Convenient location and communication. We were enjoying stay in this hotel very much and can strongly recommend for others.

체크인 데스크 직원들 불친절 고객 많은게 짜증나는 태도 라운지 3부 운영하면서 음식 엉망이고 시간되면 바로 나가라하고 청소 시작함 밥먹는데 밀때 밀고있음 밤에 에어컨 안되어서 수리하고 또 안되서 방바꿈 인생 최악의 호탤임

Helpfull and friendly staff, great location, clean and comfortable room.

Cleaning staff was ok but the ladies at the reception was awesome. Every time they went above and beyond to help me and my girlfriend or any question we had. This was our first time in South Korea. Definitely recommend this place.

Sufficiently close to night markets and touristic places and sufficiently distant from them to feel out of town. Many dining and convenience stores options nearby. Good breakfast.

It’s a lovely hotel with spacious rooms. Not many places nearby, need to walk out to find a convenience store or restaurant. Airport limousine stops here, very convenient.

施設は綺麗でとてもよいですが、周辺にお店が少なく、駅からの道のりが上り坂なので立地がやや不便です。

I did not go to the $119 buffet for any meals, but I was told by other patrons that it was excellent. I don't eat enough to justify that price tag. The lounge servers were excellent and very accomodating. The room was in fairly good shape and overall the hotel was clean. It's a little remote compared to other hotels in terms of nearby shops, but it wasn't too bad. You can get the orange line metro pretty easily but there is a little hill that you have to walk up when you return, just FYI. Food options in the hotel were meh and the other resteraunt there was good but pricey.

中心からやや離れており、坂の上にあるので大きな荷物がある場合はタクシーが良い。施設は綺麗。

The hotel itself was beautiful, very clean and modern rooms. The views from the lounge were superb. There was a distinct lack of vegetarian food options at all of the restaurants within the hotel which was disappointing.

Everything about this Hotel was fantastic. The rooms, amenities, Dining Options, Bar, Coffee's, absolutely spot on.

Everything was great about this hotel. The only thing I did not Like was that they scolded us for taking our coffee out from the buffet to the Lounge Area. Seemed a little rigid to me!
