Loved the staff and the decor. Will be returning!

Easy access to taxis, Uber and train. Lots of restaurants nearby. A bit of a walk to the old town. Not very near the cruise port.

Big rooms, clean, nice location

The Hilton DoubleTree was a great hotel. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. I especially loved its convenient location near the Nice train station, which made it easy to catch a train and visit nearby towns. While it’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the shore at a brisk pace, the overall experience was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nice.

I recently enjoyed a two-night stay at this hotel and wanted to share some highlights. Having paid for a city-view room, I was delighted to discover that my actual view consisted of train tracks. Even better, the room appeared to be located inside a giant illuminated advertising display, ensuring that I could enjoy ambient neon lighting throughout the night, even when the curtains were closed. The room itself was lovely, but the experience was elevated further by the housekeeping cart permanently stationed outside my door. This thoughtful arrangement provided convenient access to cleaning supplies, fresh linens, and a rotating display of guests' used towels. Dinner was equally memorable. While other diners were served promptly, I was given the opportunity to practice patience and self-advocacy by inquiring how one goes about receiving service. Once my order was taken, I was treated to cold Irish coffee and cold food. When asked whether I ate raw fish and stated I did not, the kitchen thoughtfully seared the outside while preserving the interior's commitment to authenticity. The hotel's concern for my well-being was particularly touching. After informing staff that I did not require housekeeping service during my short stay, I received a note alerting me that if I continued to decline entry, staff would enter the room to ensure I was not damaging property or engaged in other suspicious activities. It is reassuring to know that such vigilance is extended to paying guests!
