One of the most amazing stays we have had in awhile! Beautiful interior for a hotel, amenities were on par for the people that the hotel brings in, drinks were wonderful, and the view was astonishing! Will definitely be back!!!

The Moxy was a “cool” hotel but if you’re looking for a more traditional room that includes a mini-fridge, microwave, closet, dresser, or ice bucket, this wouldn’t be the place to stay. However, the hotel is very clean and the beds are comfy. There is a “stash closet” available for use by guests which is convenient if one needed a blanket, extra towels, or any forgotten toiletries. The staff at reception (which is actually the bar) were very nice and accommodating, especially Darrius. We were given bottle caps upon check-in which allowed each of us to have a complimentary signature cocktail or a beer during our stay. The pool and gym looked inviting but we had no time to take advantage of either. There is a restaurant on the top floor (the 7th) that served delicious food and had a beautiful view of the mountains. It was a bit pricey but Monday nights a special is offered, a burger, fries, and a beer or glass of wine for $15. Our server Tyler was great. We weren’t aware that there was a parking fee for the garage, $17 a day, but should have expected as such in a downtown hotel. The 6 of us (3 rooms) had a nice time and appreciated our stay at the Moxy, especially the cleanliness as well as the staff.

The moxy is very nice and the staff is great. The property has lots of nice amenities: hip outdoor pool with cabanas (for rent), a spacious gym, chic bar in the lobby, and a fancy rooftop restaurant and bar with beautiful views. But for travelers who’ve never stayed at a Moxy, just understand that the rooms are very European: the bathroom has a drain in the middle of the floor and water tends to just sit there, which can breed unhealthy microbes; the two queen beds face each other; there are no closets or drawers and thus nowhere to put your clothes save for a few hooks on the wall. These are more critiques of the style of the place, though, and otherwise it is a very nice hotel situated downtown and close to nearly everything.
