Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Ellsworth Bar Harbor

Breakfast was pretty good, and staff was pleasant.

As always, everything was spotless and the staff was friendly and extremely helpful.

Clean, quiet, friendly staff.

This hotel has major problems with its plumbing. We were forced to move rooms twice by sewage coming from blocked drains. The first time, the drain for the toilet in the room above ours backed up and waste water was flowing down the wall into the kitchenette,, shorting out the appliances and causing a safety hazard. We moved to another handicap accessible room with a walk in shower, but there were no grab bars to assist in getting in and out of the shower, We moved to another handicap accessible room, which was great. Unfortunately, during the ight, the drain in the bathroom overflowed with sewage spilling all over the floor. We moved to a different hotel. The staff were helpful and stayed cheerful, throughtout all this, for which we are grateful. No complaints about the staff.

I stay at this property during inclement weather as its close to my work and saves me travel time with poor road conditions. I have not had the breakfast as I leave prior to it opening. I stay in the king room with kitchen. The rooms are great, clean including larger fridge, freezer dishwasher and microwave, sink dishes etc. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is clean with all essentials needed. It has a table/desk with 2 chairs. Tv is nice plenty of clothing storage. There is plenty of parking. Highly recommend this property.
