Generally a pleasant stay. Paperwork on arrival stated restaurant is open till 22:00, however there is no restaurant on site but plenty in the vicinity. Real shame about the use of plastic cups though. In the bathroom and drinks served at the bar to take to our room. All single use plastic cups. Not very eco friendly.

The worst place I have ever stayed in my life. Walls were torn apart, public rooms separated by curtains, no common room for visiting, beds in dorms were too too close, room was stuffy, blanket was flimsy, breakfast was served in an altogether different place, workmen busy and loud on Easter Sunday morning ... need I go on?

Property under construction - no lounge or bar access

Botel was a fun experience and the location was great with free ferries from right outside the station direct to right outside the Botel, but the room was really basic. The bar and communal areas inside were great. The roof top bar area was rough, and had a homeless guy sitting under the steps smoking weed. The ensuiite was really tiny and there was no way to stop the floor flooding when you had a shower. A bath mat would have been really helpful. Also needs soap in the bathroom.

No laundry facilities. Inconvenient location

Wir waren bereits 2021 dort und alles stimmte. Die unterkunft war in preisleistung stimmig. Zwar klein aber gemütlich. Dieses Jahr kostete der Aufenthalt doppelt so viel was uns zunächst nicht störte denn laut der website wurde einiges umgebaut und modernisiert. Bei Ankunft auch deutlich zu sehen check in und Speisesaal sind sehr schön geworden. Im Zimmer lies die freude nach den das war diesmal trotz höheren Preis NOCH KLEINER als beim ersten mal. Kein stauraum vorhanden außer ein paar kleiderbügeln, auf der Toilette kann man nur aufrecht sitzen wenn man den arm auf dem waschbecken ablegt. Und in der nacht hört man ALLES egal wer zur toilette geht, man ist live dabei. Der Tv zeigt zwar deutsche programme, hängt aber so ungünstig, das man auf dem Bett stehen müsste um das Bild zu sehen. Dazu mussten wir feststellen das praktisch die hälfte der Zimmer mit geflüchteten Syrern und Ukrainern besetzt ist. Fazit: sehr viel geld bezahlt um 2 Nächte in einer Flüchtlingsunterkunft zu verbringen. Urlaubsfeeling ist was anderes. Das Personal ist sehr nett , das Frühstück gut und die zimmer sehr Sauber dennoch kein urlaubsfeeling also schade aber nicht nochmal.

Unfortunately when we arrived & during our stay the Botel was under refurbishment, carpets not laid,amenities not available, breakfast & bar opposite in another ship. Luckily it didn't spoil our stay but would have been nice to have been informed prior to booking, as it wasn't the cheapest option

The property needs updated. Carpet is worn. Walls need painted. Not worth the uniqueness for the price.

Room was better than expected. Had a cosy vibe with a lovely bed and plenty of space for a cabin on a boat. Nice sea view, which was also great for checking the nearby ferries to the centre. Communal areas could do with abit of an update but you're not there to stay in the corridor! Staff very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again.

Eine Nacht in Amsterdam verbracht, 4 Bett Zimmer war sauber und alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Kleiner spinnt im Zimmer vorhanden, dafür wird ein Vorhängeschloss benötigt. Die Lage ist sehr gut mit den kostenlosen Fähren erreichbar. Das NDSM Werft 1/4 ist sehr interessant und hat einige Gastronomie Möglichkeiten

A very unique and original room design! While a night or 2 was fine, it really wasn’t ideal for middle aged people. Very worn, and could use updating. It was clean and the bed comfortable. Very friendly staff. I would recommend changing rooms if possible , and trying the other letters also. The ferry next door made the daily commute really easy. Very quiet, with great views

Staff friendly & the night time security guard is the best! Will definitely be back again and cannot recommend this place enough if you’re looking for somewhere close enough to the city without the price tag. Ferry from NDSM is free and runs every 20 mins to Centraal until 1:30am.

Great view, clean, good location. We have a small problem but they solved it right away. To be a port side facility is not smelly. Great option.

Kamer was netjes en schoon. Badkamer wel erg klein, met schimmel en douche putje liep niet door. Voor 1 nachtje prima te doen.

Die Unterkunft hat eine gute Lage mit der kostenlose Fähre ist man schnell in Amsterdam central . Wir hatten ein Standard Doppelzimmer war vollkommen in Ordnung. Für mich persönlich war das Bad zu klein, aber ausreichend und was für mich persönlich am wichtigsten ist es war sauber .

We sliepen in een van de letter suites, de L. Prima ruimte met mooi uitzicht over het Ij. Incl ontbijt. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding helemaal prima. Het is geen 5 sterren hotel, dus verwacht ook geen 5 sterren service. Voor de prijs die je betaald heb je een prima overnachtingsmogelijkheid in Amsterdam, met een prima ontbijt! Met het veer ben je zo het Ij over en sta je bij het Centraal station, van daaruit kun je de hele stad bereiken. De boot ligt aan de NDSM pier, wat ook een leuk stukje Amsterdam is, met restaurantjes en uitgaansgelegenheden! Prima locatie!

Ok place to stay. In a quiet location with easy access to Amsterdam via the free ferries. Dangerously hot showers though, that should be really be replaced. Expensive for what it is really, but you're paying to stay in Amsterdam I suppose.

Stayed in a loft and it was unbelievable. The views, facilities and comfort value made for a great break.

This property is unique! We stayed in Loft B. The views are incredible with outside seating areas and perfect peace and quiet. Our last night was during an Amber Wind Warning for the Amsterdam area but apart from the wind noise we felt perfectly safe. The room is on 3 levels, the bottom has bathroom, kitchen and skateboard park! Helmets and boards are provided. I am 67 but I still had a go. This level has 2 very big circular windows and we spent most our time in looking out at the passing boats. There is spiral staircase to the middle level. We used this as our dressing room with a table and seating and room for our cases. The 2 upper floors have very strong safety netting and lots of electric sockets. There is a very safe ladder that leads you up to the bedroom. My partner has a fear of heights but she was perfectly fine going up and down. The bedroom has two large double beds with a shelf for your bits and pieces and a TV. We kept most our stuff on the middle floor as I said. My partner had "the best sleep of her life". That may have been due to having a bed to herself! We loved our stay and we will always remember the B.

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff.Overall great experience.

De accomodatie was in orde en leuk, behalve dat we elke 3 uur gewekt werden door een of andere pomp die dan een half uur een oorverdovend lawaai produceerde. De concierge was weinig behulpzaam, en dus was nacht die we bij Botel spendeerde toch wel een tegenvaller.

The letter L loft was the most unique room we have stayed at, the views were great and the staff were very helpful.

Staff were terrific. Great restaurants within walking distance. Loved my water view! Only downside is walls are not soundproof. Snoring from neighbor made it hard to sleep first night. Otherwise, I loved BOTEL.

We didn't like the concept of self checking-in and out. And defineteley not a fan of having a robot (via whats app) as a concierge. The hotel was clean, and transportatition to/from the hotel was convinient.

Het verblijf is goed bereikbaar,het doet gezellig aan als je binnenkomt en er is altijd iemand aan de balie,erg belangrijk.

船と言っても割と大きな船なので、客室は一般的なホテルぐらい広く、普通に快適です。 立地も無料の渡船乗り場が目の前にあり、船一本でアムステルダム中央駅にいけます。ただしこの船が少し厄介で、基本30分に一本しかありません。ラッシュ時は15分間隔になるはずなのですが、なぜか私が滞在していた日は30分に一本のままでした。 他の交通手段はバス停が徒歩10分ぐらいの位置にあるので、乗り放題のチケット等を予め持っているならそちらを使う方が良かったりします。

This property is so unique and definitely worth staying at. We stayed in the B room. The ferry was so convenient and ran till 2am.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Hotel sehr genossen! Perfekte ruhige Ausgangslage, um mit der Fähre in die quirlige Innenstadt von Amsterdam überzusetzen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Direkte Nähe zu Streetart Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Amsterdam mit dem Auto ist nicht einfach, bei diesem Hotel jedoch super gelöst. Parkplätze in der Nähe für 9.60 Euro am Tag. Mit der kostenlosen Fähre in knapp 15 Minuten mitten in Zentrum. Dafür noch kostengünstig.

Ligger fint - nemt at komme til og fra centrum. Søde personaler og dejlig morgenmad

Wir konnten in der Unterkunft spontan das Zimmer umbuchen gegen einen soliden Aufpreis. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, auch wenn das ein oder andere mal etwas komisch geschmunzelt wurde wegen des Zimmers (Loft O). Die Umgebung ist wirklich schön mit der kostenlosen Fähre kommt man auch noch zu später Stunde gut weg. Wegen des Essens sollte man vorab gut planen oder in der Innenstadt schauen.

Estuvimos 4 noche mi pareja y mi niño de 3 años y al nene le encantó!! A nosotros también la cama era bien cómoda, la habitación luminosa y con un pequeñito despacho ideal para mi pareja y internet excelente! El baño chiquito per funcional todo limpio el desayuno por 12€ lo cogimos a parte algún dia y genial nos encantó! Lo que menos me gusto fue la tv que era chiquita y el enchufe de mi lado para cargar no iba bien… y los ferris que comunican con el centro solo están hasta la 1,30… Pero genial los encanta NDSM y el Botel
