I was really surprised to get such a good price to stay at the Europa. We stay in Belfast a lot visiting family. I jumped at such a bargain. We were also upgraded to a better room. It had loads of space and a huge bed so we were very happy. The girl at check in was great. It was also very convenient to get parking organised at a discount at the next door car park. The bar staff were very helpful in making us a cocktail that wasn't on the menu...although margaritas really should be. We had a lovely time. Thanks so much.

Parking not best as not on site Drop off area at main door had staff vehicles parked and was difficult to drop off the other guests in my car for checking in😡 Staff did help after trying to move us on first but after explaining I was dropping off guests they backed down and helped with baggage

Despite a rather indifferent start( our room wasn't ready at 3:15 for check-in ) this turned out to be a memorable stay. Our room on the 8th floor was tastefully furnished with excellent decor. Two comfortable lounge chairs and a fine size TV. The bed was huge and so comfortable. Bathroom again beautifully fitted with high quality toiletries supplied. A small crib might be the tea/ coffee tray which only had two small biscuits. Only one carton of water was supplied for a double occupancy room! The lift experience was novel and efficient. The Piano Bar was a real highlight and we indulged in excellent snacks there during our stay. It was such a restful and relaxing place to pass some time,enhanced by some beautiful piano playing on Sat night. It would unfair to single out any single staff member as all staff we encountered were polite, friendly and helpful. A slight issue was the thumping music we could hear late into Sat night.

Reception staff are very welcoming and helpful. Clean hotel with a lot of history. Reasonable price for 3 nights.Effective lift system (choose the floor on a pad which advises lift A,B or C before you get in) . Very comfortable bed. Daily room cleaning but had to ask cleaner to clean sticky floor when we arrived and provide towels. Large rooms. Excellent city view from 11th floor at the front. Bus station at the rear and plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants nearby. A bit dangerous when leaving at the front doors as taxis drive very close to the entrance. We would stay again if travel to Belfast.

Nice hotel in a great location. Some of the rooms are small and have glass walls around the bathrooms so not to everyone’s taste. The Piano Bar service was excellent! Dining room service could be better - staff seemed overwhelmed. Would return though.

It was a treat to stay at the most bombed hotel in western Europe. But seriously, although a little dated, the hotel is well maintained in a great location in Belfast. Not far from the Titanic Experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was decent in size, but comfortable with a nice bathroom. Little tricky to avail of the free overnight parking, otherwise there is a moderate-priced parking facility nearby.

Europa hotel was recommended to us by family who had stayed there and we were very happy to find it so conveniently located within a few minutes walk from the central train station. It was also within an easy walk to the City Hall Centre where most of the local buses and transit circulated. The room and bathroom was spacious and clean, and there was a nice selection of lounges, cafés, and restaurants on the premises, as well as in the neighbourhood. The piano bar on the second floor was a particularly nice spot for a late night tea or drink. The front desk staff and concierge were all extremely helpful and pleasant, and it was affirming to see the sustainability strategies that the hotel has employed.

It’s a lovely hotel with an iconic reputation. The room we stayed in was nice but lots of dust. The bathroom could do with being refurnished. The toilet seat was broken and the shower not very powerful.

The property was in a great location. Once we had checked in we noticed we didnt have any towels. I called reception but no one answered the phone. So i had to go down to reception to ask about towels for me and my partner. Needless to say they didnt get us towels sorted. So later that night we had to go dow to reception again to ask a second time so we could get showered. I thought thay was well below average for a hotel. Plus the toilet was covered in stains with pee marks all over the flushing button. I would ho to one of the less starred hotel the next time we go to belfast to stay. Paying more doesnt always mean a higher standard

Nice stay. Rooms overall nice and specious. The sink was full of hair so didn’t drain that quickly. We were on the 9th floor and there was a party on on the Saturday, so was hard to get to sleep due to the powerful bass. Was only till midnight though thankfully. Staff great and friendly.

Property is in the town in a good area to access the town , didn’t eat as room only but was not offered breakfast on arrival. Not happy with cleaning facilities been out all day room not cleaned. Phoned down to be asked if put a card on door to say don’t clean, which we hadn’t as if our fault. Cleaner came to room but not vacuum ed as paper on floor . Bed had not been made as towel had on bed was left under covers. Did speak to front of house manager who apologised on leaving but couldn’t refund as booking through third party. Told to contact him if went again, but don’t know if go again, shame really

This was my first stay at the Europa and it’s a beautiful hotel. The room was lovely, but cold. I did struggle to get the room to heat up and I wasn’t sure if it was the settings the room was left on. A few niggles which were frustrating - I was left with the very last of the toilet roll with no replacement. I had to ask 3 separate times before this was replaced. I had not towel to stand on out of the shower and the shower ended up flooding the floor as a result. I had to use the two towels in the room to soak it up. When I went to ask reception regarding the toilet roll I asked for new towels and a bath mat/towel for the floor. Housekeeping came and went and actually left me no towels whatsoever, which mean yet another trip to reception to ask. The receptionist was lovely and helpful, and she was mortified - she said she was going to do it herself. I was only there 2 nights and for half of it, didn’t have the basic needs of a bathroom. Bit disappointing in that regard and not something you would expect of a hotel like that. I would stay again, but think the housekeeping service needs improvement. The hotel and service otherwise were excellent and staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel, great service from all we dealt with and perfect location. Quiet clean newly refurbed room. Word of advice for any travellers is to be aware of the bathroom in the standard double room....i should have read the description when booking.....the bathroom is a glass box so very little privacy. Not a room type for first weekends away (thankfully this wasn't one of those!) so for stays of more than one night, I'd strongly advice going up a level or 2 to get a "normal" bathroom and more storage. All on me, the hotel is excellent as are the staff but i should have read the description better. Would still go back no problem into a bigger room!

Executive room was lovely. Truly luxurious with big room, shower and separate bath. Perfect location. Cleaning was a bit late, not until 4pm. First day everything was fine, next day the forgot a few things. Would definitely stay again!

Spacious and clean hotel room in an ideal city centre location. My only criticism would be that the bathroom within the room is completely transparent. I’m a solo traveller for this trip so it hasn’t bothered me but I wouldn’t want a bathroom in that style if staying here with my husband.

Great location, close to center of city. Nice lobby, bar and restaurants. Clean updated room but very small. No where to put luggage except on window sill. Glass bathroom with no privacy! No where in bathroom to put toiletries or to hang towels or clothes. Nowhere to sit in the room except on the bed.

The staff at the Europa were fabulous. The concierge team were so very helpful and kind. Andrew and Matthew gave us great help, directions and some laughs. If we are in Belfast again. To The Europa it will be.

Check in was from 3pm we arrived to checkin about 3.20pm as the town was very busy but were told it would be a few minutes till we could get into our room . We didnt get into our room till 5pm , which was disappointing, as we almost missed our dinner reservation as we both have to get ready . If was nice to get our drinks paid for at the bar while we waited. But i had paid for the room from 3pm till 11am the next day , so i expected the room to be ready for us at the time we arrived to check in. The room was very nice once we got in to it and i appreciated the birthday decorations for my fiance

Wonderful stay at the Europa. I’ve stayed at the Europa before renovations. It’s much nicer now since updates to the rooms. Air conditioning is a big plus as my room was quite warm on my pre-renovation stay. Front desk and concierge service was excellent. Service at the bar could be better in my opinion. I had to go to the bar to order a drink. No one working the bar came to my table to ask if I wanted a drink which I found strange. Europa location is as good as it gets. I highly recommend the Europa for a stay in Belfast.

Room was okay, service in the Piano bar on 2 occasions was poor. At check in they tried to charge me just over twice what I booked the room online for. When I pointed this out the response was “oh good job you noticed that”! Not worth the hype in my opinion. Next stay in Belfast I would book somewhere else for sure

Was lucky to get a free upgraded room, was brilliant. Unfortunately the fire alarm went off in the evening and there was a bit of panic and there wasnt much communication from the staff as to what was going on or if we all need to evacuate. Apparently it was someone using a vape in their room. Apart from that it was 10/10

Staff very inhospitable - tried to check in before room was ready, and were told to come back in 2 hours. I had to ask if we could stow our bags, ask if there was a restaurant where we could wait, etc. No welcome at all. Room ill equipped - tissue box was empty upon check in. Toilet ran.

Convenient central city location. Two minutes walk from the Grand Opera House, the famous Crown Inn as well as the Europa Bus Station. Very welcoming reception and concierge staff. Attractive decor throughout the hotel. Comfortable and spacious accommodation with a great view of the city from a high floor as per my request.

This is a great place to stay in the heart of Belfast. It's a bustling hotel with lots of energy. The staff was very helpful with directions and details for parking and check in was very easy and quick. The breakfast at the hotel is not worth it--buffet with instant eggs and other tasteless items. We found a cute cafe around the corner (Cafe Red) that was much better and cheaper.

Extremely helpful and welcoming staff, from check-in to restaurant and bar staff, everyone was warm and friendly. Lovely rooms, clean and comfortable and amazing food, and with a good gluten free selection. And with a city centre location, theatres and other evening venues are in walking distance.

Great location and friendly and helpful staff. Bar and restaurant were both great. They were the only dinning option open during the 7/12 parades in the area. Grateful the food was tasty and prices reasonable.

Staff were wonderful. Concierges especially were very informative and pleasant. Desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. Only issue was breakfast. Cold 1st morning and either overcooked or sitting in heating trays too long. Would not eat breakfast there again. Dinner was excellent!
