Had a brilliant stay at The Carousel. The staff are all lovely and can't do enough for you. We stayed bed and breakfast. The breakfast was a buffett with plenty of choice. We also booked a table each day for an evening meal which also had good menu choices.There was no entertainment when we were there, but totally understand that if there's not many guests at the hotel its probably not worth their while. There is a bar though which we did go into each night with a good selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Would highly recommend The Carousel and would stay there again.

Too many kids running around the bar at 23:00 - 01:30 when people want to relax. Room was not as expected with sea view and bed creaked all night. Exceeded average prices of £80 per night ((£120 per night)… Was moved to another room and the lift was out of order.

Great location for the pleasure beach. Lots of free onstrereet parking on teh streets behind the property. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of it - good coffee too!

Nice hotel. Great staff and good breakfast. My only criticism were the lifts and difficulty navigating the maze of rooms and corridors. I think you need more sign posting. Came down one set of stairs as lift hadn’t been closed properly upstairs and couldn’t find my way out. So just more signs. Otherwise a nice place and very friendly.

This is an amazing property! Good location to main centre. All staff utterly fantastic! Nothing s too much trouble. Food brilliant very attentive breakfast staff! Lovely bar area and entertainment. The lift was a bit scary lol but absolutely amazing stay. Will be back next year!!!

Nice hotel for a few nights. The lifts are a little old fashioned, using the old gate version. They're also quite small only holding 2 people with luggage but there are more than one in different areas of the building. Its very easy.to get lost but we soon found our bearings. If you like to watch TV in the bedroom then you may be disappointed as the TV is quite small. However, we didn’t bother, and there is a big TV in the lounge downstairs. Breakfast is included and was buffet style. It was hot with plenty of choice and nicely well cooked bacon. Overall we enjoyed our stay and thought we got what we paid for. We would consider a return visit

Entertainment in the bar at the night (singer, bingo, then music), pool table and arcade games for the kids). Breakfast was lovely and all you can eat buffet. Very pleased with the stay for the price and we will definitely be staying again! We have stayed in many places in Blackpool but cleanliness and entertainment wise for the kids this was one of the best

Super fast check in, clean room, spacious, comfy bed, great breakfast all for a great price. For a 3-star it’s great, with a lovely, quieter location away. Downsides? Room was crazy hot on the top floor and no free parking available.

Nice to walk into then had to go thew cafe area to find a big crack in the wall and mouldy picture. Lift had broken lights and buttons. Room was nice. But really warm had fan on all night.

Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Room freshened and items replenished daily. Dinner and breakfast excellent. All staff were brilliant. Great customer service! Will definitely be back.

Standard double room whey to overpriced at £127, wow i was exoecting more for that price, small room, only 1 pillow each on bed, marked stained carpet, shabby sills, leaking sink, shower unusable, cery small and a fixed shower head....how can you clean properly wirh a fixed unit above your head!, and not cleaned to my standards, dirty blinds in cafe eating breakfast, for £127 you need step it up a bit, my stay my room i value it at £85 tops

The hotel was ok, noisy even after 11pm(but they did have a party in hotel, the room we was in was next to the stairs and you could heard every creaky stair.Bed was hard, some people may like this but i couldn'tsleep. The shower was small. Breakfast was ok self service.

Great hotel staff excellent. The only problem for us was the noise from the cabaret room. If you want an early night during the weekend you've got no chance!!! Room 109 directly above.

Stayed here years ago. Returned last week with kids and their gran. On arrival, check in was easy and staff were very helpful. However they had us on the top floor, and their lift is very outdated and small, so we struggled up three flights of stairs with children, a stroller, suitcases etc. As we got higher up, the heat smacked you in the face. We entered our room and could hardly breathe for stifling heat. We set up the fan and the window was already open. This was so uncomfortable that we ended up requesting to be moved room. We were moved down one floor but the room was just as hot. We used three fans during our stay, removed all duvets from their covers and put wet cold towels around the room to try cool it down. I have never been so uncomfortably warm in all my life - no exaggeration. It absolutely ruined the stay, as everything else you couldn’t really complain about. Breakfast was standard, not the best, not the worst. Seems more of a hotel for elderly visitors now.

We visited the Carousel to celebrate my mothers 90th birthday along with other members of the family. The rooms we were given were quite large, modern and clean . The bathrooms were nicely decorated but some of the shower cubicles were a bit small. However, there was plenty of hot water, clean towels and toiletries supplied. The hotel itself was very close to a tram and bus stop which was good. We had a meal in the hotel and that was nice and good value for money. The staff in the hotel and restaurant were first class. Friendly, professional, helpful and very smart. I would recommend this hotel for a short break and will probably use it again.

I booked this stay with a double bed and a sofa bed. The confirmation arrived and all was fine. When i arrived at the hotel, they let me have the room early which was great, however, the room was a double bed and a bunk bed, not great for a three and one year old. I went to reception and explained this was not was booked and they said that they were full and we had to have that room. So not a great start to our stay. It stated that all mattresses were memory foam. Our bed was certainly not memory foam and i had to use the mattress from the top bunk bed on top of the double bed. A most uncomfortable stay.

It was ok for me however no sockets near the bed, they were on the wall as you come in the room, too hot but couldn’t use the fan as socket too far away to make a difference, bed uncomfortable pillows non existent, I had the breakfast it was nice however I asked for a very cold glass of semi skimmed milk to be told they didn’t have any what hotel doesn’t have milk ?

We were allocated a room on the 3rd floor but we noticed straight away that the toilet was leaking. The staff were straight onto the problem but it couldn't be quickly fixed so we were moved to an alternative room which was more spacious and with a nicer outlook. The room was comfortable and had all we needed. We enjoyed the breakfasts and booked to eat in the hotel each night and were not disappointed- good food, and not too pricey. On our final evening i became ill in the early hours of the morning- we needed to ask for assistance and the night porter, Gerard, was excellent and did all he could for us, assisting in setting up a visit to see an emergency doctor at the hospital. We were grateful for his care and concern. All staff were friendly and helpful at all times.

Room was lovely & clean, no view windows were covered in a film as we over looked some yard & other windows! The fire alarm went of at 7.20 am, for enough time to waken us, then go of! Due to someone using hot shower? Arrived down at breakfast, what a let down! Food was slow, took 15 mins to top up hash browns, scrambled eggs, only thing there was plenty of was tomatoes!! Had to reheat it in microwave when everything arrived? Staff were less than pleasant at this point!

Lovely hotel in quiet location. Tram stop close by so easy to get to central seafront if mobility can be an issue. Very comfortable with lovely breakfast. Evening menu looked good too. Hope to visit again.

Great location for the pleasure beach. Lots of free onstrereet parking on teh streets behind the property. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of it - good coffee too!

We stayed at the Carousel in summer and brought the children, the rooms and bathroom are lovely and clean (albeit a bit old fashioned but I don't care about that as long as it's clean). The breakfast is good with enough choice of food and drinks, the tram stop is opposite so it's really easy to get about. One thing is if you can't get there first thing then you might struggle for parking on the front, but on this occasion we managed to find one at the back of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel, it's one of the nicer ones in Blackpool and is good value for money.

Away from the centre of Blackpool but with easy access to there and also St Annes. Rooms of a good size and very clean. Staff friendly and very helpful. Would stay here again.

Ideal location, short walk to pleasure beach and staff, entertainment and food fantastic. Free parking was a bonus too. Couldnt fault our stay. Great price. Would highly recommend!

For the price compared to other hotels, this place was amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was fantastic. We were worried the location was a bit far from the promenade but it was closer than we thought and the trams were right outside the hotel. Layout is a bit of a maze and bathroom was a bit small but overrall, for anyone wanting to see the illuminations or stay a few nights, I would absolutely recommend this place and I'd be more than happy to stay here again ❤️

Had a brilliant stay at The Carousel. The staff are all lovely and can't do enough for you. We stayed bed and breakfast. The breakfast was a buffett with plenty of choice. We also booked a table each day for an evening meal which also had good menu choices.There was no entertainment when we were there, but totally understand that if there's not many guests at the hotel its probably not worth their while. There is a bar though which we did go into each night with a good selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Would highly recommend The Carousel and would stay there again.

Room was spotless the staff were so polite would definitely stay there again and have already told friends about it. Oh and the breakfast was lovely all fresh and hot for a buffet. Fantastic 👍

The reception staff were lovely we arrived 2 hours early but our room was ready so we went in. Average tea/coffee and shower things. Breakfast poor, buffet cheap breakfast. Lovely staff throughout

Fantastic from start to finish. Rooms are cosy, warm and very very clean! Staff were lovely, gave the kids a box of sweets to share. Entertainment in the bar at the night (singer, bingo, then music), pool table and arcade games for the kids). Breakfast was lovely and all you can eat buffet. Very pleased with the stay for the price and we will definitely be staying again! We have stayed in many places in Blackpool but cleanliness and entertainment wise for the kids this was one of the best

Lovely staff, small single room with not a lot of light. Cabaret lounge had a lot of screaming children, to the point the DJ apologised for the noise. Had to queue for breakfast, a lot of items had run, out so had to wait again.

Room was lovely & clean, no view windows were covered in a film as we over looked some yard & other windows! The fire alarm went of at 7.20 am, for enough time to waken us, then go of! Due to someone using hot shower? Arrived down at breakfast, what a let down! Food was slow, took 15 mins to top up hash browns, scrambled eggs, only thing there was plenty of was tomatoes!! Had to reheat it in microwave when everything arrived? Staff were less than pleasant at this point!

laura at reception made our stay , we were given room 312 top floor (lovely & spacious)but the heat in there was unbearable never slept at all…next morning laura moved us to another room on the 1st floor we’re all the windows could open and was so much cooler.fantastic thankyou !!! food could of been better at breakfast,hard not crispy bacon,would of thought there would be blackpudding being up north sadly not ,no fry bread at all ,no mushrooms until sunday. evening meal was lovely but had to wait over an hour for it. parking an big issue over the weekend had to drive around for ages to find a spot . nice hotel would return but only to a certain room.
