We were placed on different floors from our children, despite calling ahead and specifically requesting to be accommodated on the same floor. It appears this is a common issue, as I met several families experiencing the same situation. This raises serious safeguarding concerns, as children should not be separated from their parents in a hotel setting.

The first room we were given was terrible. It smelt of smoke and was desperately needing a paint and deep clean. We asked to change rooms and although it smelt better it still needed a thorough clean. There was thick dust on pictures and on the luggage holder. There was a stain on the mattress protector, the bottom of the bath was all rusty, it clearly needs replacing. The plug sockets weren’t accessible(inside a cupboard. Generally needed a deep clean everywhere. This hotel was definitely not value for money at £260 for 2 nights. I will be complaining and I will be expecting a refund. I would have booked somewhere else but it was the airshow and I couldn’t find alternative accommodation, I was with my son too so it was very inconvenient to try and sort alternative accommodation.

Terrible experience. Do not stay here. The room was not properly cleaned, and the carpet was incredibly dirty and stained. The spare bed was also in poor condition. This place is absolutely not worth the money, and I would never recommend it to anyone.
