Wir haben drei Nächte im Novotel Budapest City verbracht und insgesamt einen angenehmen Aufenthalt gehabt. Das Hotel ist sehr groß und offenbar stark frequentiert – was für das gute Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis spricht. Unser Zimmer war sauber, modern und bot alles, was man für einen Städtetrip braucht. Der kleine Wellnessbereich (Pool, Sauna) war funktional, allerdings von der Atmosphäre her eher schlicht und oft gut besucht. Das Frühstück war qualitativ gut, aber logistisch etwas herausfordernd: Der Frühstücksraum ist für die Größe des Hotels eher klein, weshalb man Zeit und Geduld mitbringen sollte. Fazit: Kein Luxus, aber ein guter Standard, gepflegt und mit praktischer Lage. Wer mit etwas Trubel umgehen kann, ist hier bestens aufgehoben.

spa facilities a bit left apart, and dirty on the floor, hotel does not provide any slippers to go there, turkich bath non fucntional, only sauna.no extra towels for the swimming pool, so you had to use use both for swiiming pool and showers in our rooms... Fridge in the room did not work, although I mentioned it on the first day we arrived. In rest, clean and comfortable bedroom with great breakfast, which remains the most important...

Very nice hotel. Front desk staff were very helpful. They have a lot of amenities, gym, sauna and pool. Had a massage, nothing fancy, but very good. The hotel was very clean as was our room, but the hallway carpet was disgusting. Maybe time to replace it. Breakfast buffet was lovely a lot of variety and fresh food. A disadvantage is there is not much within walking distance.

I recently stayed at Novotel Budapest City, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The rooms appeared dated and were not well-maintained, giving an overall lackluster impression. Check in took over half hour as they in error messed up my booking. To my dismay, both the pool and spa were unexpectedly closed during my stay, without any prior warning. This was particularly disappointing as these amenities were a significant factor in choosing this hotel. Adding to my frustration, the management refused to provide a refund despite the inconvenience caused by the closed facilities. Jättemysigt hotell strax utanför centrum men väldigt lätt att ta sig till och från med bussar som gick precis utanför. Bekvämt rum och bekväma sängar, trevlig personal och god frukost. Det som var lite nackdel var att pool och poolområde var väldigt slitet, lite smutsigt och inga funktioner som syns på bild med vatten dusch och vatten strålar fungerade längre.

Les chambres n'étaient pas propres, il y avait d'énormes toiles d'araignées aux fenêtres et des araignées au plafond (que j'ai dû demander de faire enlever après une semaine). Les moquettes étaient sales et tâchées, pas sûre que l'aspirateur soit passé tous les jours dans les chambres ni dans les couloirs. En effet, le ménage était fait de façon sommaire (voire pas fait du tout certains jours, seule la couette était remise sur le lit), les verres et tasses mis à disposition dans la chambre n'étaient pas changés ou au minimum lavés tous les jours. Nous avons dû demander à ce que les draps soient changés après 1 semaine car cela n'avait pas été fait. Le restaurant ne propose que quelques plats à des prix exorbitants, le service est d'une lenteur phénoménale (45 minutes d'attente pour 3 plats et uniquement 4 tables occupées dans le restaurant), le personnel du restaurant n'est absolument pas aimable, voire désagréable. Un des ascenseur a été en panne pendant plus de 10 jours (hôtel de 9 étages). Seuls points positifs, le personnel de la réception est serviable et à l'écoute; le buffet du petit déjeuner bien fourni même si plus de nourriture salée que sucrée. Je ne recommande absolument pas cet hôtel qui n'a de prestigieux que le nom.

The room was not cleaned properly. Once they did not do the dishes, once they did not do the beds and the maids also entered the room in the morning without knocking. The breakfast was not good. Often the food run out and so also the plates and bowls. Several morning they did not have such a basic thing as orangejuice or fruits to make fresh juice.The scrambled eggs were compact and overcooked. The room was noisy.

First night out air conditioning was not working and it the 36C heat of Budapest and being in the top floor it was unbearable. They were accommodating the first night and supplied ud with fans and the second night we got moved to a working air conditioned room. The hotel was very clean and the staff very nice. Breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of different foods.

Wir waren zu viert in einem Familienzimmer. Es war einfach zu klein, auf der Couch konnten keine zwei Leute geschlafen. Die Zimmer waren sehr alt und sehr laut. Schade bin eigentlich von ALL anderes gewohnt.

I’m afraid I would not stay here again. Mixed service from staff for example one day the lifts weren’t working and despite big queues of people no member of staff went to tell them to use the service lift . (They had put up signs but not everyone could read the language). Also when the lift opened it was pitch black. The beds were never made up properly, literally the duvet pulled back over. Sheets were poor quality and scratchy. Our view wasn’t good at all. Food for breakfast was actually okay although they coffee machines produced about a tablespoon of coffee not matter what type you chose. On the positive the hotel is located close to public transport and does have some good facilities for families. There is a small pool and sauna but I never saw anyone working on the reception there. Oh one thing to be aware of - it’s located close to hospitals I think because the noise from ambulances and police was unbelievable some nights - if you go take ear plugs!

Otelin yeri şehre biraz uzak ama şehre toplu taşıma ile ulaşmak kolay, otel düzenli ve temiz. Odalar standart, ne dar ne geniş. Tuvalet ve banyo ayrı olması artı ama dar oldukları için kullanışı kolay değil ve birazda eski.

The staff were exceptional. Friendly and accommodating. The hotel is 10 minute bus ride to the city. Only thing is the air conditioning does not work towards the end of May because its still chilly outside and they don't consider it summer, but it does get muggy in the room without air if you don't open the window, which only opens a little.

First night out air conditioning was not working and it the 36C heat of Budapest and being in the top floor it was unbearable. They were accommodating the first night and supplied ud with fans and the second night we got moved to a working air conditioned room. The hotel was very clean and the staff very nice. Breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of different foods.

The staff were amazing from the moment we got there. Nothing was too much trouble. It was my husbands 40th birthday whilst we were there and when we got back from our morning out there was a birthday cake waiting for him. Great for safely storing our luggage when we arrived and day of departure. The bus stop right outside the hotel means you can get into the city centre in 10 minutes and a 3 day pass was approx £10pp and we well and truly got our money’s worth of use over the 3 days.

Had a great stay at this property with my family celebrating my wife’s birthday, the staff were so great provided a cake and champagne. Amazing 5 star service would highly recommend.

Les chambres n'étaient pas propres, il y avait d'énormes toiles d'araignées aux fenêtres et des araignées au plafond (que j'ai dû demander de faire enlever après une semaine). Les moquettes étaient sales et tâchées, pas sûre que l'aspirateur soit passé tous les jours dans les chambres ni dans les couloirs. En effet, le ménage était fait de façon sommaire (voire pas fait du tout certains jours, seule la couette était remise sur le lit), les verres et tasses mis à disposition dans la chambre n'étaient pas changés ou au minimum lavés tous les jours. Nous avons dû demander à ce que les draps soient changés après 1 semaine car cela n'avait pas été fait. Le restaurant ne propose que quelques plats à des prix exorbitants, le service est d'une lenteur phénoménale (45 minutes d'attente pour 3 plats et uniquement 4 tables occupées dans le restaurant), le personnel du restaurant n'est absolument pas aimable, voire désagréable. Un des ascenseur a été en panne pendant plus de 10 jours (hôtel de 9 étages). Seuls points positifs, le personnel de la réception est serviable et à l'écoute; le buffet du petit déjeuner bien fourni même si plus de nourriture salée que sucrée. Je ne recommande absolument pas cet hôtel qui n'a de prestigieux que le nom.

Very nice hotel. Front desk staff were very helpful. They have a lot of amenities, gym, sauna and pool. Had a massage, nothing fancy, but very good. The hotel was very clean as was our room, but the hallway carpet was disgusting. Maybe time to replace it. Breakfast buffet was lovely a lot of variety and fresh food. A disadvantage is there is not much within walking distance.

I’m afraid I would not stay here again. Mixed service from staff for example one day the lifts weren’t working and despite big queues of people no member of staff went to tell them to use the service lift . (They had put up signs but not everyone could read the language). Also when the lift opened it was pitch black. The beds were never made up properly, literally the duvet pulled back over. Sheets were poor quality and scratchy. Our view wasn’t good at all. Food for breakfast was actually okay although they coffee machines produced about a tablespoon of coffee not matter what type you chose. On the positive the hotel is located close to public transport and does have some good facilities for families. There is a small pool and sauna but I never saw anyone working on the reception there. Oh one thing to be aware of - it’s located close to hospitals I think because the noise from ambulances and police was unbelievable some nights - if you go take ear plugs!

I liked being anonymous and the use of a quiet, clean room with great facilities and comfy bed. The maids replenished products when I left a note. Very good bus services and cheap too. Handy shopping mall close by and a very good fridge to use. The only negatives were: A. Being reliant on public transport as the location is not convenient for walking into the city ( although I did). It was very difficult to see the ticket machine in the sun when purchasing. B. The choice and volume of the 'music' at breakfast was unpleasant. I was told that the manager had turned it up but it was not what I wanted to listen to first thing in the morning and certainly not at that volume. Overall a great stay though... thanks.

The room was not cleaned properly. Once they did not do the dishes, once they did not do the beds and the maids also entered the room in the morning without knocking. The breakfast was not good. Often the food run out and so also the plates and bowls. Several morning they did not have such a basic thing as orangejuice or fruits to make fresh juice.The scrambled eggs were compact and overcooked. The room was noisy.

I think this was one of the best hotels in Budapest at that price level. I frequently travel to Budapest for work. For me opening hours of pool and wellness are wonderful (closes at 23:00 which is ideal for me as I only have time for sport in the evening). Breakfast selection was amazing, there was a juicer to squeeze your own juice. I will definitely return again

One of the worst hotels that i have visited. The service is very bad. Waiters do not smile and are not helpful. AC is not working properly and hasa lot of noise. Rooms are smelly. A lot of flies on the food at the breakfast.. i do not recommend this hotel to anyone

The people at the desk were extremely helpful and they answered all my questions. Getting ice from the bar. It was a nice addition that they included breakfast for the 2 days i was here. The room was comfortable with a fridge. I liked the spa which included a sauna, pool and workout space and a salt room.
