For an airport hotel, our stay was excellent. The room was huge and spotlessly clean. We had an early breakfast at 6am (continental only as hot breakfast started a little later). There is a restaurant for an evening meal where the food was acceptable but a little expensive, however there was nothing else in the area. Staff were very friendly and helpful and there was a shuttle to and from the airport.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport but not noisy. The breakfast selection was good with ample place to sit. We never had an issue finding a table. The only criticism would be the charge for the bus shuttle to the airport.

Staff we had dealings with were very nice, room was spacious & bed was comfortable. Facilities were very good. Great to have a hairdryer in the room. The only downside for us was having to pay £12 to park our car in the car park for about 14 hrs. That alone would probably make me think twice about booking again. I haven’t encountered this at any of the other airport hotels.

Horrible place! Drains in showers were clogged and flooded the entire bathroom floor. Very light water pressure. Coffee (or other) stains on wall. Black mold on handicap shower chair. Loud when windows are cracked and no AC! Fan was provided. Old stained carpets. Only thing ok was breakfast.

We arrived after a long day of travel around 10:30 pm to be greeted with dirty towels laying in the shower, dirty coffee cups in the coffee nook, ironing board still set up...basically the room had NOT been cleaned. There were no other rooms available so we HAD to take the room. We were given clean towels which we used as blankets since even though the beds were made, we could Not be sure that they had actually been cleaned. Over all a Very bad experience other than the front desk staff said they would contact Expedia who we had booked through a full refund....Now, we still need to get refunded from Expedia....Not a great experience

The staff was very kind and helpful. That is the only plus. The halls were dirty, and the furniture in the rooms was very worn and stained. The shuttle to the EDI airport was good, and I couldn’t wait to get on it.

Staff friendly. Room adequate but dusty and cobwebs in every corner. Beds were very soft and lumpy. No idea who taught them to make a bed. A double sheet folded in half on a single bed, making it too short and narrow to actually tuck under the mattress, had to remake the beds. Breakfast was decent, but much more limited in choice than i've had at other Holiday Inn's. Nice to have complimentary soap/shampoo/shower gel

My only real complaint was the bathroom floor. It was filthy. When the floor towel got wet and rubbed the floor the towel became filthy. It needed to be swept and washed badly.

The room was lovely and spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and I had a choice of pillows. The staff were wonderful and the food was great. They had both vegan and gluten free options, though I wish some of them were one in the same. I had a very lovely stay.

Unfortunately, the quality of this hotel isn't close to other Holiday Inns I've stayed at in the US. It's located in an area of the airport that feels industrial, not human-friendly. The hotel felt a bit worn and shabby, and weird smells seemed to linger in the air. Our bathroom had hair balls on the floor and mildew growing on the shower head. I'm going to think twice about staying at another Holiday Inn in the future.

The room and bathroom were very very clean. The only area that could have used a little extra love was the hallways. They just need a good vacuuming but other than that ecerytjing was very clean. The restaurant was excellent for dinner and the free breakfast the next morning was very good. We had a very pleasant night at this hotel and would definitely stay again. The hotel shuttle was also very convenient.

Well, Scotland was feeling a heat wave and the hotel wasn’t prepared for it. Rooms had a small occilating fan …no AC. Not really their fault..but with climate change, think they will have to keep up

Avoid the main floor— the noise from the hallway and from guests gathering by the reception, was unbelievable. Guests staying at an airport hotel are usually travelling at unusual times, hence need to sleep at unusual times. The level of noise was exceptionally disruptive.

We stayed for one night as we had an early flight the next day. The hotel offers a convenient airport shuttle service that starts running from 4:00 AM, which was very helpful. Breakfast is served from 4:00 AM with drinks, coffee, fruit, and toast. Hot meals are available from 6:30 AM, but the early breakfast options were already a nice touch. The room was quite new and comfortable. However, there was a strange sound from the drain when water was draining, which was a bit odd. Since our room was on the first floor near the main entrance, we could hear people coming and going at night. It would be best to request a room further inside if you want a quieter stay.

The towels in my room were used, with damp handprints visibly obvious on the bathroom sink towel. The TV didn't work; after two trips to front desk, and their failed attempts to fix it, I gave up. But by far the most egregious display of unprofessionalism was the 45min it took for the check-out process & the wait for the shuttle bus. Those of us waiting on the check-out line were repeatedly told — in an abrupt, non-apologetic tone — that we ‘just have to be patient’ that ‘she’s alone’ and that ‘they’re short staffed’ — “Just Like Everyplace Else in the UK” as if we, the hotel guests, were the ones with unreasonable expectations. The check-in gate for my flight was seconds from closing by the time the shuttle bus got to the terminal.

The hotel was a 15 minute walk from the airport. Buses come to the airport but not to the hotel. The hotel is hidden off to the side of the airport and it isn’t directly around much. Didn’t hear the planes which was good. Hotel was nice. You do pay for parking. It is about 25 minutes away from the castle.

Great location for the airport. It is walkable but some of the paths are a bit rough, takes about 20 minutes with bags. Clean tidy compact room. Also has a free breakfast.

Good stay near the airport for an early departure. Area is right next to the airport so you can hear take offs and landing if you face that side of the property. Good clean rooms and we got a room early which was extremely appreciated. The area has nothing nearby to access minus some small shops in the airport you’d need to either eat at the on site bar or Uber in food/go into Edinburgh city. All in all a good stay!

Used to fly into this airport wiith fam as a child. Starting new memories. Breakfast was fantastic and and nothing i did not like. Woold recommend to fam/ friends who fly into Edinburgh airport!

Pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. Beds were super comfortable. Shuttle bus was convenient. The only downside I would say was the quality of the meal we had at the restaurant. I had a steak pie which looked and tasted like a cheap frozen one. It was expensive for what it was.

Didnt have breakfast. Room/bed very comfortable. Receptionist who che ked me in could not have done more. Food uninspiring...chips were undercooked and not skin on as described. Vegetables were strangely rubbery. Garlic chicken breast was deep fried with a little blob of garlic butter. Order and pay at the bar prior to eating is not clear for customers waiting for sevice. Allergies att to the menu would be good instead of all the faffing around checking with 3 staff.

Everything was fine but this time with breakfast was terrible- cold food and not a lot of choice, very dirty table, not clean after previous customers, they didn't add food on time. I have a few reservations in the future and I have hope that will be better next time
