The gardens and the way the hotel is laid out makes you forget that you are in the center of the city. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of options, the wait staff is very attentive. I will stay there again.

The staff was excellent - particularly Jaime the concierge. He was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable and attended to all of our needs. We had a really great stay! A couple of minor items that ought to be attended to - the restaurant is really slow - not sure if its the front of house or back of house but breakfast took entirely too long and I'm not just saying that as an impatient American. We're talking over an hour for coffee and yogurt. They need to step up their game. Hot tub isn't hot but it wasn't hot at the other 5-star hotel I stayed at in GDL so maybe it's an energy issue. The gym is fairly basic - needs free weights and stretching mats. A portion of it should be padded. Some of the machines made funky noises when you used them - a maintenance issue. Overall, we really had a spectacular stay and would come back.

The hotel is centrally located with only a few dollar uber to most of the city sites. Jamie was very helpful in arranging tours and providing recommendations. Lots of good restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance as well. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well maintained.

La habitación en que nos quedamos tenía dos cucharachas muertas. Entendemos que eso pueda pasar pero el problema es que aún después de la limpieza seguían en el mismo lugar. Es decir no hacen limpieza diaria solo tienden camas etc.

Ya le hace falta renovación. La alfombra muy sucia sábanas sucias y olía demasiado a mata bichos al grado de marearte. Éramos 2 en cada habitacion no había pantuflas para los dos. We had an issue with our ac unit leaking or pouring water in the middle of the night and had a very hard time sleeping . They fixed once we reported in the morning but then it happened again the next day and twice worst . Staff and everything else was great but it’s hard to love a property when you can’t sleep .

Quinta Real used to be a high quality boutique hotel. After the acquisition by Camino Real, the quality has diminished. They nicked and dime you for extra coffee pods. The staff is great, but the management of the hotel impacts the guests. The venue also needs some upgrades.

Old glory, beautiful hotel and grounds. Many staff were kind and super helpful including the concierge. However two of the desk staff, Eyal in particular, were rude and disrespectful— they pretty much ruined my experience. The brunch was gorgeous, several great juices, salads but not really a place for vegetarians…the seafood addition on Sunday was nil. Truly enjoyed the setting and chilaquiles.

This hotel is such a great value for you money! The places is gorgeous! If you’re looking for something that is historical, & romantic, but still in the city… this is the place for you! Hotel rooms are large, & have very large TV’s, which you can also cast Netflix on to, so you can still watch the shows you want, while still being here. The bar tender made great cocktails! I was given a voucher for 2 complementary drinks ( might have been because I’m an Expedia Gold member though). The bellman were so professional, & very sweet! They were always pleasant, & always had a cab ready for me, as long as I let them know what time I needed one. The pool situation was a little bit weird, because even though it was elevated, it was almost right across from the restaurant, which is pretty formal. I’d suggest the hotel, add some curtains for more privacy, by the pool. However, I didn’t even use the pool, it was just something I noticed. That being said, this place is a 10 out of 10! Oh yeah, their didn’t seem like much in the area around the hotel to do within walking distance., so as long as your ok taking taxis or cabs, then stay here.

The Quinta Real is a beautiful hotel. It is close to good restaurants, the staff is very friendly, easy for taxi/uber pickup. My husband and I stayed for 7 nights and really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay.
