Ligger et godt sted i forhold til banegård og shopping. Ikke handicapvenlig indgang, flere trapper, først elevator fra receptionen. Lidt utryksskabende indgang med mange kedelige typer omkring døren ind til hotellet. Morgenmad ok. Venlig og hjælpsom reception. Uheldig med kun badekar i badeværelset. Lille trin op ved indgang til badeværelse. Boede i værelse op af elevator, støjende med folk som ventede på elevator.

Fahrstuhl war defekt. Unser Zimmer war im 4. Stock und es gab keine schnelle Lösung. Kein wirkliches Bemühen vom Hotel, kein Entgegenkommen. Im Gegenteil, es gab nur patziges Verhalten von der Dame an der Rezeption. Wir waren auf den Fahrstuhl angewiesen. So konnten wir viele Programmpunkte, die am Vormittag geplant waren, nicht wahrnehmen.

The room was cramped and difficult to navigate with two people. The entrance has an immediate staircase, so it's not accessible for wheelchair users, and difficult with heavy luggage. There was a loud noise from 8am-11pm right outside the window that made it hard to sleep. The breakfast was included and very food.

The property looked like it was part of an old casino, but it was very clean inside. The staff were mostly helpful, the biggest issue for us and I think for the staff too was that the elevator was out of service. They helped us carry our heavy luggage up the stairs. The front desk clerk said the elevator would be fixed on the second day of our stay, but it was not. Maybe they were having difficulty getting service. The room was a good deal especially with breakfast included and the breakfast options were good. The location near the train station was very convenient for us, but it turned out to be a rough and dirty neighborhood. Many people sleeping on the street, one mentally ill woman was yelling at passers-by when we arrived, and people were shouting outside all night. I felt like the staff were doing their best to make it a decent stay, though.

Er was een wegafsluiting voor het hotel door een festival. Dit was bij ons niet bekend. Het personeel was niet erg behulpzaam in het vinden van een parkeerplek. We hebben ons wel gered maar een beetje vriendelijkheid was wel op zijn plaats geweest.

Leider völlig daneben gegriffen - Dealer-Umfeld und dunkle Typen rund um den das Hotel nahe Hauptbahnhof. Fahrstuhl defekt. Unfreiwilliges Kardioprogramm bis in die 4. Etage des Altbaus - mit Koffern, dito nach dem abendlichen Restaurantausflug, dito nach dem Frühstück usw. usf. Ob der Fahrstuhl inzwischen repariert worden ist? War bestimmt mal eine gute Adresse, aber die Gegend um den Hauptbahnhof sollte man meiden.

Hotel was centrally located, walking distance from tourist area but in a very dirty area, next to central train station. Breakfast was good. Room didn’t have Air Con, have to sleep with windows open during summer and get all the traffic noise. No hotel parking available , not even unloading bay for luggage. Parking at the hotel recommended garage charged 32 EUR night.

Många hemlösa, tiggare och personer som tar droger utanför entrén vilket gör att det känns obehagligt framförallt med barn. Hotellet var inte handikappanpassat då det var trapper upp till receptionen och till frukosten. Det fanns dock en hiss upp till rummen. Frukosten var okej, torra mackor och inte stort utbud. Heltäckningsmatta över hela rummet och utanför och det kändes inte jättefräscht. Skräp och smuts under sängen. Personalen var trevlig och hjälpsam. Ingen fläkt eller Ac på rummet.

The hotel was very clean on arrival, although house keeping do not clean the room daily, I did ask for a clean mid-stay, which was completed. The reception are very helpful and some are friendly. Except for one young man who was very rude, when I came in to collect my keys, this was on the evening of 1st January about 8.30pm. I had not seen him before at reception. I should have complained to management the next morning as I was checking out but I was not asked if my stay had been ok, so I was not tea given the opportunity but I do feel he should be spoken to about his abrupt & rude attitude. If this had happened again I would definitely haff be e spoken to management.

Mycket bra läge vid centralstationen. Dock mycket droger och hemlösa, men det var det i hela centrum. Hjälpsam personal, vi fick lämna in väskorna i bagagerummet då vi ankom mycket tidigt. Rummet var mycket rent och fräscht. Fick rum mot innergården vilket var bra för det reducerade oljud utifrån. Frukosten hade mer att önska.

Großes Zimmer, sehr sauber, gutes Frühstück. Auf Nachfrage sogar extra Wünsche. Nicht gut war die Lüftung im Bad. War defekt und wurde nicht behoben. Ein deutlicher Mangel, da Duschqualm ins ganze Zimmer zog und die Fliesen dann lange nass waren, Spiegel beschlagen. Längere Toilettennutzung nur nach Absprache möglich, da ja nicht gelüftet werden konnte. Das geht überhaupt nicht. Zimmer war zum Innenhof. Es lief zwar 24 Stunden eine laute Lüftung, aber das war ruhiger als zur Vorderseite, wo der ganze Verkehr lanhmg geht. Betten waren sehr bequem und großes Lob an das Zimmermödchen

Good sized room, very clean. It is a budget hotel but for £60 includes breakfast. Much better than I was expecting. Location is pretty good very near to the central station. Would have liked a kettle in the room.

Bra läge nära stationen för de som kommer med buss eller tåg. Enkel men bra frukost. Tysta rum när fönstren är stängda, men eftersom det saknades både ventilation och kylning så blev det varmt sommartid. Med öppna fönster ut mot gatan blir det mycket ljud även på natten. Prisvärt och helt ok hotell, dock mycket droger, poliser och utslagna människor på gatorna utanför.

Tæt ved togstationen . Tæt ved julemarked. Stort familie værelse. Gode senge. Stort badeværelse. Venligt personale og okay morgen buffet. Irriterende at dette åbenbart er interessant at samles foran indgangen til hotellet. Dårligt WiFi

Praktisk beliggenhed lige ved Hovedbanegården. God morgenmad. Sengen var meget hård og ikke særlig bred (1.40/1.60 cm). Hovedpuderne var meget høje. Vinduer var ikke særligt lydtætte. På gaden gik en hjemløs rundt og råbte hele døgnet rundt, så det var svært at falde i søvn.

Wifi fungerer omtrent ikke uansett hvilken etasje en bor i. Når også 5g og 4g også er svært dårlig i denne delen av byen (ikke hotellets skyld) så blir det umulig å jobbe aktivt. Måtte finne en kafeteria utenfor hotellet som hadde wifi så jeg fikk jobbe. Tungvint og unødvendig. Hvis en ser frem til god hotell frokost så er ikke dette stedet å bo. Noen skiver ost og skinke samt syltetøy er alt du kan forvente deg, men kaffen var god.

Ein sehr schönes Gebäude und auch das Innere hat sehr viel Charme. Mein Zimmer ( Standard) war sehr klein; an sich ist es ein sehr schöner Raum mit Stuck an der Decke- allerdings wurde ein Block ( Bad) reingesetzt, was nicht zusammenpassen will. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, es wurde immer darauf geachtet, dass es an nichts fehlt. Check in und Check out war unkompliziert und die Rezeptionisten waren freundlich und behilflich. Die Lage des Hotels ist super; Hbf und ZOB vor der Tür. Allerdings lümmeln viele verlorene Gestalten dort ‘rum. Ich würde dieses Hotel wieder buchen, allerdings dann ein besseres Zimmer.

Hotel was centrally located, walking distance from tourist area but in a very dirty area, next to central train station. Breakfast was good. Room didn’t have Air Con, have to sleep with windows open during summer and get all the traffic noise. No hotel parking available , not even unloading bay for luggage. Parking at the hotel recommended garage charged 32 EUR night.

While the area shouldnt affect the hotel review. It is incredibly sketchy. Homeless people, drunks, drug users and passed out people all around. Hotel is a little old but it seemed clean enough. However when checking in, the front desk agent didnt speak a single word of english which made it difficult and even worse when asking about parking. Once entering the room, one of the beds had a literal slope, I was laying at an angle and it was horrible. I tried the same agent, whom again, didnt understand what i meant, then I tried again with the morning agent the next day after breaking my back sleeping in the bed, but they also didnt speak english. Neither did the 3rd agent I tried in the evening. I dont expect everyone to speak english, its not my first language either. But when staying at a super central hotel in a big tourist hub, i would at least expect a basic level of communication. Breakfast was OK though we were turned away the first morning due to it being overcrowded. We did come back later though.

Die Lage genau beim Hamburger hbf ist toll . Das Hotel gibt sich große Mühe , unerwünschte Menschen vom Hotel fernzuhalten . Leider war meine Buchung nicht hinterlegt und dürfte lange (mit einem Mitarbeiter ) diskutieren das ich mein Zimmer schon bezahlt hatte . Das der Aufzug nicht ging , dafür konnte niemand was . Zimmer super klein , dafür halbwegs sauber . Frühstück war einfach gehalten , für uns hat es locker gereicht . Super lieber Haus Service :)

The property looked like it was part of an old casino, but it was very clean inside. The staff were mostly helpful, the biggest issue for us and I think for the staff too was that the elevator was out of service. They helped us carry our heavy luggage up the stairs. The front desk clerk said the elevator would be fixed on the second day of our stay, but it was not. Maybe they were having difficulty getting service. The room was a good deal especially with breakfast included and the breakfast options were good. The location near the train station was very convenient for us, but it turned out to be a rough and dirty neighborhood. Many people sleeping on the street, one mentally ill woman was yelling at passers-by when we arrived, and people were shouting outside all night. I felt like the staff were doing their best to make it a decent stay, though.

Er was een wegafsluiting voor het hotel door een festival. Dit was bij ons niet bekend. Het personeel was niet erg behulpzaam in het vinden van een parkeerplek. We hebben ons wel gered maar een beetje vriendelijkheid was wel op zijn plaats geweest.

It is extremely convenient to the central train station, which is why I chose it. But this means noise of all kinds, non-stop. I was also told by my friend not to go in the direction away from the train station when coming out of the hotel because there is a lot of crime nearby. I didn’t see city police or hotel security in the vicinity at all, and did not go out at night.

Die Lage, direkt am Hamburger Hauptbahnhof, war sehr gut und auch die Anbindung zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln war sehr gut. Die Fenster zur Hauptstraße könnten ein bisschen isolierter sein. Aber ansonsten Super Hotel.

Great location, near the central station which is a big plus. The outside area/street after dark feels kind of unsafe. For that reason I Would not bring my wife and or children here, but for a 1 night stay alone it worked fine. Nice service, great rooms for that price, even though the standard is starting to be out-dated.

Das Geaf Moltke ist für einen Kurztrip nach Hamburg eine gute Adresse. Bahnhofsnah ist die Lage gut bzgl. Der Erreichbarkeit aber wegen der Umgebung auch die ganze Nacht durch belebt wegen der „Passanten“.

Wifi fungerer omtrent ikke uansett hvilken etasje en bor i. Når også 5g og 4g også er svært dårlig i denne delen av byen (ikke hotellets skyld) så blir det umulig å jobbe aktivt. Værelset var fint, men der var utrolig lydt, så vi blev vækket mange gange i løbet af natten af enten støj fra mennesker på gaden eller sirener fra udrykningskøretøjer. Morgenmaden var det værste vi nogensinde har prøvet. Vi bookede hotel og forventede morgenmad magen til det der vises på billederne, men det var ikke i nærheden af det.. Zimmer (Basic Einzelzimmer) sehr klein, aber sauber. Leider erst ab 15:00 verfügbar (ist auch so angegeben, aber meist sind die Zimmer ja vorher fertig). Frühstück: Brötchen, Rührei waren klasse ...aber der gekochte Schinken schmeckte irgendwie nicht frisch / 'sauer'.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am HBF, somit ist die Anbindung zum Hafen und die Innenstadt sehr praktisch. Die Umgebung leider auch dementsprechend. Das Frühstück ist gut und reichhaltig. Der Frühstücksraum zu klein für das Hotel.

Dejligt centralt beliggende, lige ved Hovedbanegården og i gåafstand til det hele. Ligger dog meget tæt på et lidt “utrygt” kvarter, og især trappen til hotellet samlede folk for at ryge. Der var for lidt plads til at spise morgenmad, hvor udvalget heller ikke var særligt spændende.

There is a nearly constant police presence in the square outside the hotel. The neighborhood was very unsettling in the evening. Make sure you look at Google street before booking. In particular look down Steindamm street.

Do not book this, started with us booking an upgraded room with a king size bed, arrived at the hotel where they announced almost half the price compared to hotels.com. and a quick search confirmed this with several providers. When we checked in, we got the room key and it turned out that we got a room with two single beds, not 1 king size as stated on the booking confirmation, complained and got a new room, this had a small double bed.., complained again, then we got a family room, absolutely terrible, but a big bed. Then I gave up arguing anymore
