Stayed 1 night

Travelled with child for overnight stay. Room was appropriate for one night. Slightly small but was good for what was needed. Room was quiet warm and window needed to be open. There was a continuous buzzing noise throughout the day/night from what I think may have been a fan from the kitchen. This was most annoying during the night as the window needed to be open due to heat. Room itself was clean, there was tea and coffee supplies. A hairdryer was also present in the room. No fridge in room which wasn't a real issue but incase others are planning on taking snacks which need to be refrigerated. Staff who we interacted with were helpful. Parking for car was £15 for the night. We checked in at 5pm and the parking last until 2pm the next day (check out was at 11am). We did not stay at the hotel for our evening meal however from observation it looked very busy so it would probably be best to rebook a table. Overall it was a good hotel room despite the noise, I would probably return if passing through the town again.

Lovely hotel and very helpful staff .We were put in a lovely room on the quiet side, it was a very large room but a wall at the window which made me feel slightly claustrophobic, we were moved to a room above the bar which was lovely light and airy and the noise from the bar and beer garden wasn't a problem, it was actually nice to hear some atmosphere from Outside and was quiet by 11.30 .Had the best night's sleep in the massive bed and the fan provided really helped .We did not experience any food from the bar or the restaurant but both were absolutely stunning venues. The outside bar garden is beautiful and plenty of seats with a lovely atmosphere flowing through from the bar ,not loud or louty clients just people enjoying a nice quiet drink .I'd definitely recommend this hotel ,very easy for town and the train station.

Very disappointed after staying at this hotel for one night recently. Due to being woken up by noise at 6am from people putting bottles and refuse in bins just below our bedroom window, which was open due to the room being too warm. When reporting to reception they said nothing they could done about it as other people used their bins. We shall not be visiting this hotel again.
