Jasper Inn & Suites by INNhotels

Was a nice place to stay.

We never received notice in advance that that heat in our unit couldn’t be shut off and was very hot when we walked in. We went back to the front desk and told them that the room was extremely hot and they said that they were working on it and should be fixed by around 5 or 6 PM which it wasn’t.. The room remained hot when we returned from dinner and we opened up windows and doors thinking it had a cool off. We went to bed with the bedroom cool because the windows were open but had to close them as the temperature was gonna drop into the 30s Fahrenheit that night and noise from the parking lot. Everything got hot again, which woke me up in the middle of the night when I couldn’t sleep because I was so hot we felt like they were not forthcoming and even deceptive. Not a good experience. The location is good. When we checked out, we told him about the problem and they said they would have to send maintenance into the unit again to try to fix it and the Wi-Fi did not work with our room number and last name as well and they had to give us a different password..

We had a semi-basement room and it smelled damp all the time. The cleanliness was OK but I wasn’t impressed that they would charge you CAD15 if you didn’t wash up any crockery or cutlery you use in the suite. Surely that is in the room price already?

When we got to our room the temp was 76.5 degrees. Much too warm to sleep. So I called the front desk and asked someone to come and take a look at our air conditioner. We waited 30 minutes and no one came so I called the front desk again. They finally sent a maintenance person who gave me a fan and told me to open the window. We had a very restless sleep. In the morning the temp was still at 75 degrees.

The suite was spacious with a seperate living area. Good location with a 5 minute walk into Jasper town. Very clean and well maintained. The food in the restaurant was very good.
