Underground parkade was closed for use because entrance door was malfunctioning. Rooms were nice but the hotel in general is showing its age Nevertheless we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

The rooms at the Chateau Jasper are a decent size, and the beds are very comfortable. The rooms are modern looking and clean, we did find a large plastic wrapper on the floor. The hottub was warm the first night but the jets didn't work, second night nothing was working and the pool was very cold. It was sill an alright place to stay, just nothing special.

A little run down. Nice to have an indoor pool. A bit removed from the downtown - 24 min walk. The “exercise facilities” were a joke: one elliptical machine, one broken exercise bike, and a weight rack with no weights on it! This was located on a narrow balcony above the pool so very hot and steamy. When we mentioned the lack of exercise facilities they said we could use the hotel next door but they only had a broken universal machine. Don’t advertise for facilities you don’t have. We picked this hotel for the exercise facilities because my son needs to keep up an exercise regimen for baseball.

The only thing we didn't like about the Chateau Jasper was the fact that the hot tub has no jets. This has gone down hill over the last few years. The pool area is nice and the swimming pool is good but the hot tub is just a soaker tub and should not be advertised as an amenity that it is not.

I travel a lot for work so before I booked this property, I called the night before to make sure the pool is working, hot tub, gym open, and restaurant open. I was told everything is good to go. I arrived to check in and was told the restaurant was closed, I asked was it a spontaneous thing, no she replied, it was planned. I decided I will go to the gym then a swim, there is no gym, just an elliptical above the pool. On their website they should maybe show a picture of their “gym” so the person can see if it’s adequate for them. The pool was nice, so was the room. Very disappointed in lack of communication about the restaurant and the non-existent’s of a gym.

Very clean room, despite being a pet friendly room. Very accommodating staff. Room was quite large and wonderfully laid out with a separate area for fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and 2nd sink.

The room was incredibly clean and the furnishings were okay. The building itself is very old, low ceilings, no bathroom fans, bed not very comfortable. Underground parking was a plus.

It was our 3rd or 4th stay in this hotel. We found the staff courteous and helpful. Rooms are comfortable , spacious and clean. However this time it was not a flawless experience. Even though the hotel was not busy at all , we received a room with a beautiful view .......to a rooftop! The last day of our stay we've decided to have breakfast in the restaurant before our departure. There was a menu and a continental breakfast ($16). From the get-go the mentioned that the continental breakfast does not include any type of meat (sausage, bacon, etc.) only pastries , cereals, fruits. So we've decided to go with a meat platter breakfast. 2 eggs , bits of bacon , roasted potatoes. for $22 or $23 . This combination did not include toast! They sell it as a side for $6 ! Are you kidding me? 2 slices of toast for $6? Really disappointed that when people try to help the community in a slow season, they gouge you. We are really seriously considering to stay at a different hotel next time we return!

Our room was really nice but the air conditioner didnt work. We had it set to 60 the whole time we were there but it never got cooler than maybe 71. Very frustrating. And I would suggest you ad sliders to the legs of the chairs at the table. They are heavy and were hard to move around. Beds are extremely comfortable and the bathroom is lovely! We have stayed there before and would stay there again if they could guarantee the air conditioner worked.

Room was clean and Hotel is very good. But their customer service and staff is rude. Restaurant in the hotel is good but their staff behaviour was terrible. They give me different information about breakfast buffet and charge me more. When I asked for receipt from front desk of hotel. They didn’t provide me.

The front desk the sales staff blessed our daughter and son in law. We sent them there for their wedding gift and it was dealt with such care and attention! They had a fabulous time and front desk were incredible to them upon check in/out thank you so much

We had a great stay at the hotel which is at one side of the small beautiful town. A bit distance to the restaurants and cafes but if you enjoy walking, difnitely a lovely experience in non-raining days. The room and the service is great! Our friend left clothing in the room and the hotel provided very clear, professional and detailed support to make sure we arranged delivery back to our country.

The staff is not all that helpful. Lots of attitude. They clearly don't understand their job is a service position at check in. The rooms are ok. They were clean. There is an indoor pool which was right below our window. People are in the pool until late into the evening. I would try another hotel when I go back to Jasper.

The staff at Chateau Jasper were friendly and informative. The rooms and facilities were clean. We enjoyed our stay at the Chateau Jasper. During our last evening at the hotel, we were evacuated due to the wildfires in the area. Although it was a stressful event, the staff at the hotel was extremely professional and kept everyone calm despite the situation. We are thankful for their service.

We used this hotel for 1 night on route to Peyto Lake and Lake Louise. It was a nice hotel but quite a distance from down town area. We used the hire car to travel to the town centre which was small but nice with couple of coffee shops and a very good information centre. Parking was free and onsite we visited in October and it was very quiet with plenty of parking available.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable.However, the was no bar or dining facilities available for the majority of our stay. In addition, the hot tub was simply a hot bath with no jets. Parking was problematic at times and there was much noise from other guests.

The room was well stocked but looking tired. There was no body wash when we checked in and also we had to get the shower fixed as it was faulty. The check in staff were very helpful. The hotel seems to be for primarily coach trips and it felt like this was their main business. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced but of poor quality. Go elsewhere to eat! Jasper has some lovely walks and the town is quirky. We had a great meal at one of the local breweries.
