とにかく立地が最高！烏丸御池駅から徒歩ですぐ。個性的なお店のある三条通や蛸薬師通が目の前。ホテルの規模は大きく、結婚式をするホテルだけあって、従業員の方も大変きちんとしておられる(これがビジネスホテルとの違いだと私は思ってます) 部屋はごく普通ですが、この値段なら京都の中心では広いほうかもしれません。大浴場の温泉に入れるのも最高ですね！なら、なぜ満点じゃないかというと、、紅葉時期で混んでたせいもありますが、客室数に比して(327室？)洗い場が少なすぎる！座れるシャワーの席は7つしかない！「並ぶことはご了承ください」みたいな表示ありましたが、夜など並び過ぎ。。時期によっては時間差の入浴など必要かも？あと、お風呂の入口でスリッパを脱ぐのですが、それを手で持って脱衣所まで行って自分のロッカーに入れろというのが、、いくら館内だけのスリッパでも、手で持って移動するのは気持ちが悪いです。あとは、清掃の方々も感じよかったんですが、部屋に戻って休憩しようと14時ごろ帰ってきたら、廊下で作業の音やらおしゃべりやらが大変うるさくて閉口しました。。全体にはまた泊まりたいと思います。ありがとうございました

The location is very good. Within walking distance to different subway or JR train lines and busses. Very close to downtown. Hotel has natural hot spring and spa facility. After using the hot spring, hotel guests can relax in the VIP room on the top floor to enjoy the night view nearby. Tea, coffee and soft drinks are provided free of charge.

This was a great stay and we would come back here again for sure. We got the room with the king bed and i have never seen a king bed like this. It was gigantic! You could have easily put 4 people in there! It was also comfortable. We used the onsite onsen and it was wonderful. It had about 4-5 pools, one was cold which i loved and one was outside. It was very clean and very enjoyable and had many amenities. There was a restaurant on site, but we didn't eat there. There was a fridge in the room but it didn't have a freezer compartment.

妻の誕生日に宿泊しました。場所、設備、メンテナンスとも非常に良かったです。細かいことを言ってもきちんと対応頂きました。但し、女性の浴室は混雑で洗い場不足だったようで、部屋の浴室を使うこともありました。女性は体を自室で洗って、温泉であったまるなどの対応が必要かもしれません。

清掃担当の方が明るく挨拶してくださっていたので、外出後の部屋が気持ちよく使えました。ありがとうございました。また隣の部屋の音などは防音なのか、一切気にならない点、非常に良かったです。駅やバス停からも近く、各所へのアクセス良好。京都メインの旅ではありませんでしたが、どこに行くにも非常に動きやすかったのでまた利用したいです。

Good location, modern interior. Lovely chandeliers in dining room! Reception area though is too dark it felt almost as if we were entering the Adams family front hall! Rooms are small but in keeping with Japanese hotels. Nice colour scheme almost regal. Beds are solid and good for sleeping. Pyjamas are provided!!! Which I love about Japanese hotels. Our room faced the street and was directly opposite the cleaners room ( which was opened and visible each time we left our room! Not a good idea or visual) Bathroom amenities very good. BUT I will echo the views of the other previous guests… please sort out the design of the showers/style of shower heads. The water flow can be wonderfully powerful BUT it hits the back of wall and floods the bathroom floor! We had to resort to a very low flow setting for our showers defeating the purpose of such a powerful shower head. Suggestion to out of town visitors, this property is strict about check in and won’t even allow 10-15 min early check in (even if your room is available) without charging extra. Not a way to endear your guests, as far as we were concerned as we had travelled early up from Tokyo. So be prepared to leave luggage and hit the pavement or book train/bus et al to arrive closer to 3pm check in. Breakfast is good - a mix of Japanese and western food.

The property and area is fine but the front staff/ attendants are not very nice almost seems to be discriminating. When you go ask the front desk staffs for help or service, they don’t take an effort to help you, just replies quickly to get rid of you.

Amazing service! Hotel has many multilingual staff. Services were all as promised. The area is very central to Kyoto sight seeing and shopping. Easy access to get out of town and into the countryside. The hotel was cozy comfortable, clean and efficient. Rooms featured modern amenities, great hot water, and bidet toilets.

The staff was incredibly helpful. I had many questions about the best way to get to certain locations, and how to access train stations. The staff provided colorful maps and marked where I needed to go, and the routes that the trains would take me on. Also, the buffet breakfast was amazing!!!

The reception area is too small. We arrived early and told us to come back at 3 pm and said our room would be ready and we had our passports registered. Yet when came back at the said time, there were many arrivals waiting to check-in for room. And we noticed that our check-in process was not done so we were back to the last list of check in. So I made a complaint, did not get result, may be language matter, just gave a paper of sequence to get check-in, so we were the last at that time. With much further explanation, we got handled, but look like we jumped the queue.

Super nice hotel with very clean rooms and centrally located. Just north of Kyoto station and walkable to Nishiki market, Gion district and Yasaka shrine. The coolest Starbucks is across the road. It has these 30 foot windows that has views of a Rokkakudo temple. You can drink coffee and contemplate the garden of the temple as worshippers come and go.
