Werkelijk waar prachtige locatie met uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Reken als VIP member niet op een kamer-upgrade. Zorg ook dat je een kamer boekt binnenin de kerk, wij zaten in een apart bijgebouw zonder de charme van de rest van het klooster. Het parkeren was door drukte in de stad erg lastig, gelukkig biedt het hotel valet parking aan, helaas wel voor maar liefst 45 euro per nacht. Een aantal kleine opmerkingen zijn door het personeel goed opgelost.

We really enjoyed this hotel as a great couples trip. We stopped in town for 2 nights and were conveniently upgraded at check in! Great closet space to hang up coats, comfortable bed and pillows, and amazing A/C. The area was quiet on a Sun-Tues and we enjoyed the in-hotel bar in the evening one of the nights - their espresso martini and amaretto sour were SO good. Through booking with Expedia we got a VIP treat of a free glass of Prosecco each on our first night. Would highly recommend for anyone stopping in town for a couple nights and super walkable - only a couple blocks off Vrijthof Square with lots of bars, restaurants and grocers to stop at.

Central location. Receptionists excellent and very good when asked for anything. Room quite tight and difficult to negotiate movement without hitting your head due to the slanting original ceiling on the second floor. The overall ambiance in the main building is impressive but there is no extras like a gym, sauna, pool , etc . It’s simply the room that you’re paying for, breakfast ( continental) at €45 is extra and the restaurant is open on Saturdays for evening meals only .

This was a beautiful hotel with stunning architecture. The staff were very kind and responsive and the rooms were clean and tidy. It's very close to all the major streets and shopping and dining and easily walkable. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Service was fine, though several times they were not able to help with requests. A local friend who knows about food highly recommended their restaurant for dinner, though we were not in town long enough to take advantage. The location is convenient to nice restaurants and shopping, and a short taxi ride to the train station. Overall, it was nice and we were happy enough, but I think you are mostly paying for the beautiful lobby. I'm not sure I would spend so much to stay here again.

Positiv: - Tolle Lage und wirklich schönes Gebäude Negativ: - wir hatten die Juniorsuite gebucht, an sich ein schönes Zimmer, allerdings war es unmöglich eine angenehme Raumtemperatur zu erzeugen - bedingt durch die einfachverglasten Fenster hört man leider jedes Fahrzeug der angrenzenden Straße - unser Zimmer befand sich im Erdgeschoss zum angrenzenden Garten. Der Garten wird von den Mitarbeitern als Pausenraum genutzt, was bedeutet, dass direkt vor dem Fenster eine große Gruppe Menschen lautstark zusammensaß und direkt in unser Zimmer schaute. This hotel had the best service I have ever experienced! The clerks would recognize us and ask how we were enjoying our stay. They even remembered specific things about us to personalize our visit. It is an old monastery so you were staying in history. Would highly recommend this place!!

I loved the rooms and the hotel looks really nice. Location is perfect. Only remark is when we arrived, other guests got welcome drinks and we were not asked at any time. This felt not nice. Breakfast was ok, nothing bad but also not special, perhaps my expectation with a 5* is higher. The porter was helpful and kind.

This hotel is unique. The hotel is located in a monastery combined with a Gothic church, and it merges the modern and the ancient in a comfortable marriage. We had an extraordinary stay and an amazing breakfast. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. A once in time happening and experience.

We hebben een zeer aangenaam verblijf gehad in het Kruisherenhotel, het hotel is een ervaring op zichzelf met een prachtige ambience en architectuur dat oud en nieuw combineert. We hebben ook er genoten van de mooie kunst die in het hotel aanwezig is en onze kamer was zeer ruimtelijk en van alle gemakken voorzien. Ik vind het ook heel goed dat het hotel ook lokale Limburgse streekproducten aanbiedt wat de ervaring zeer authentieke maakt. Ik zou ook absoluut aanbevelen om het ontbijt te boeken, aangezien dit een hele speciale ervaring is met een prachtig uitzicht. Het personeel is ook zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We komen zeker nog een keer terug.
