The rooms were always arrended to. The staff were very good. Shout out to Erick, Jorge and Nelson. Especially Jorge! This hotel needs more dinner options. The buffet restaurant was never open for dinner. But, my biggest complaint is that there are no palapas or umbrellas on the beach and it was next to impossible to find shade. This hotel used to have the BEST palapas in Puerto Vallarta so the lack of them is really annoying.

Parking was secure. The staff were excellent. Restaurants were just ok. At the Mexican restaurant we ordered a dish with Halibut and it was unavailable. At the Asian restaurant we were seated in the front part of the restaurant and there was no airconditioning there. We also wanted to order tempura, it was not available. The room upgrade was just an ordinary upgrade, nothing special. Our shower leaked almost on a daily basis. We did inform the front desk and it was fixed for one day. It still continued to leak after that. The mini fridge was very lacking in what was offered. One of the trailmix packages was old.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was courteous and attentive throughout our visit, and the view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. We decided to pay for the club upgrade, and it was well worth it. The 21+ pool area was a great perk, along with improved dining seating options and access to an additional bar. It definitely elevated the overall experience. The only downside was that the adults-only pool could get crowded at times and didn’t always have enough space to accommodate everyone. Expanding that area would make the experience even better. Overall, a fantastic stay that we would happily recommend!

Overall great resort for the cost, the real selling point is the food options, excellent staff, and location. Rooms and pools are in decent condition for the age of the hotel but need some standard maintenance (missing tiles, cracked furniture ect..). There was active and loud construction during our full stay, while I understand it is necessary guests should have been informed of this prior to arrival, luckily noise only impacted the beach and main pool areas and not the rooms. Room service was excellent although with inconsistent timing and oddly enough would enter to clean and / or restock up to three times per day. The adult only pool was enforced and had a wonderful bar and menu. Adult only restaurant not enforced, despite saying no one under 12 there were infants or toddlers disrupting the atmosphere for both our meals here. The ordered food was excellent, buffets had plenty of options but get there early as temps / quality drops as it sits out. It was also odd that without notice some of the sit and order restaurants were switched to buffet which is not shared at time of reservation so you do not always know what you’ll get. Lack of adult activities or entertainment but there was some live music that was very good and the Fiesta was amazing. Solid 8/10

The rooms were nice and cool, which was nice in the humid weather. The pool service was excellent and the drinks were always available. It was frustrating that there were signs stating that chairs would be monitored for 30 minutes of no activity, then belongings would be removed by employees to the cabana. That rarely happened, so people would leave for hours and chairs would sit with soggy towels. Sometimes making it difficult to find a spot unless you moved them yourself. Just had to get there early enough.

The pool was filthly, the pillows had mold, and they wouldn’t clean the room floors. Food options were okay except for the Asian style restaurant, they sat us in a table that made us believe we were getting a tepanyaki dinner but they just needed to use it as seating. Each restaurant asked if we had any allergies and in one restaurant they brought us some desserts, in one dessert it has peanuts and my son is allergic! We stated he was allergic to peanuts before entering the restaurants. We would not go back to fiesta Americana.

El edificio es viejo y sin suficiente mantenimiento. Hay mucha indisciplina con aspectos de limpieza (charolas de comida en pasillos por muchas horas no obstante que muchos empleados pasan por ahí). This was our first time at the resort and our trip was unforgettable. First and foremost, the staff and service we received was outstanding. The following employees made our stay exceptional: Rafi & "Nacho" team (Sonne Club); Patricia & Julissia (Rosato); Rosalio & Gume & Mariajose (Buffet); Fernando (Concierge) and Rico (the piano man). We came to the resort to celebrate our wedding anniversary and stayed for 2 weeks. We stayed at the penthouse room and we had amazing view of the ocean and the beach. We loved our Sonne Club experience from service to drinks and food -- simply phenomenal. Dining options were all great, but our favorite were Rosato (Italian), La Cevichería (Seafood), Chulavista (Buffet) and Sonne Club. We loved the location of the resort -- there are malls that are walking distance and it's close to the airport and also to Malecon. Overall, we had such a fantastic experience at Fiesta Americana that we will be coming back for years to come. Thank you Fiesta Americana for making our stay unforgettable.

I am writing this review in the hope that people will stop asking about this hotel. First, the most important thing when staying somewhere is food. But here, the buffet is only open for breakfast and lunch — it closes for dinner. Out of the remaining three restaurants, at least one was closed every other day. Second, the refrigerator in the room was not very effective, so we couldn’t enjoy cold drinks. Third, the internet in the room hardly worked. Even when lying down and wanting to use the internet, it was simply impossible. Fourth, the quality of the food. Normally, a buffet offers a variety of dishes so that people from different countries can choose. That’s the standard. But here, the food selection was almost entirely limited to Mexican dishes, and the quality was not particularly good either. Fifth, when we visited, one of the restaurants was closed for a private party. Because the staff from that restaurant were all redirected to that event, we were left without food. On top of that, it was not a party for all guests, so we had to endure loud music and noise coming from outside. Finally, due to ongoing renovations, there was loud construction during the daytime, which made it even more uncomfortable. Overall, this was a very inconvenient and disappointing trip.

Overall this was a great property. A few cons: when I asked for espresso at breakfast they told me I’d have to walk to the cafe. Not super guest focused in my opinion. Food was hot or miss: some things were amazing and some were at or below average. Housekeeping was on top If it and wonderful. Also, be prepared for the property to try and sell you a vacation share type thing.

This was our third visit to this resort. It is the perfect size, and the location is excellent. Very quick trip from airport. Our meals at the restaurants were delicious and reservations were easy to acquire. The lovely young lady assisting us at the towel/service hut by the pool was a joy. She was always smiling, helpful and ready to make our stay as perfect as possible. Our waiters at the restaurants were also very helpful and kind. We did notice that service at the lobby bar, and the pool bar was less than what we had experienced in the past. More often than not, we waited excessively for a drink order. The breakfast buffet was nice - great atmosphere and food was very good. Front desk and bellmen service was exceptional. Our rooms were clean, and the maid service was perfect. It was a lovely stay overall.

Our stay was great! The staff was very nice and attentive, and the rooms were clean. The beach is right next to the hotel, which made it super convenient for us. We enjoyed most of the restaurant options, except for Rosato (the Italian restaurant). I felt the dishes there needed more flavor. We loved the Mexican buffet they had on Friday night. The food was the BEST, and the show was so fun to watch. My 18-month-old daughter absolutely loved it—she kept dancing the whole time! Another favorite spot was the Cevicheria. They have the best aguachiles and tacos gobernador. The pool was a lot of fun, too! I especially appreciated the shallow kids’ area—it was perfect for families with little ones. The only downside was how many employees kept pushing the Fiesta Rewards membership on us. Several approached us about it, and one employee even questioned me when I said we had already received the presentation from one of her coworkers. She kept asking for a name and seemed to assume I was lying, which felt unprofessional. There was no reason for me to lie. Overall, our stay was good, and we enjoyed our time there!

I thought felt that the staff is what made this resort a hit. Ivan at the swim up bar, Marcos at the breakfast buffet, ximena at the cevicheria, Pablo at the Asian restaurant, Ricardo at the activities booth, all went above and beyond. I really wanted to like this place. Convenient location other than that I didn’t like anything. Food is awful. And if you don’t upgrade you have limited access to anything. If you don’t make reservations to dinner at night you can only have room service. So you are stuck. I felt like Inwas bothering the staff if I asked any questions but they were really quick to try to sell me time shares. So never again.

Staff was excellent. Buffet was incredible. The reservation for dining was terrible. You have to use a QR code and there is no way to see a menu to know if you even want to eat there. I was only there for one night, I live less than an hour away and booked because of secured parking and the spa. The spa is fantastic.

We stayed 5 nights at the Fiesta Americana. 5/5 location -15 minutes from the airport. 3/5 for food variety/quality- the Asian restaurant and Mexican restaurant were great, the Italian was ok. 3/5 for things to do- we did a couples massage which was fabulous and yoga and pilates in the morning. We did not have good wifi at all in our room during the trip. We also had to ask for bottle water a few times. My boyfriend was on a knee scooter and the hotel was accessible for him. Shout out to Israel, sous chef at the Asian restaurant put together a special sushi dinner for us. And the pool concierge, Danae was always very helpful and friendly.

The property itself was beautiful. The swimming pool was beautiful and the water was warm with plenty of lawn chairs available. The beach was walking distance. The food was okay. The Mexican Restaurant food my favorite during our stay. You need to make a reservation at one of the three restaurants each night. Mexican, Italian or Asian Cusine. The Malecon is a 7minute ride in a taxi and the cost about $5. All in all a nice stay.

We selected Fiesta Americana for our group of 80 guests and were so happy with our choice! This is the perfect resort for a group. It’s small so you can easily gather, all rooms have an ocean view and balcony, and you don’t *need* reservations for the speciality restaurants. Speaking of the restaurants - the food was amazing!!! Best resort food we’ve ever had. The breakfast buffet is plentiful. There is a coffee shop if you prefer cappuccinos or lattes (also ice cream!). The staff were all wonderful and service amazing. Rooms very clean. Only 3 negatives: * most serious — the buffet dishes that contain allergens NEED to be labeled. A few of our guests have severe nut allergies. One unfortunately had to administer his epi pen & see a doctor after eating a chicken dish that contained peanuts. It was not labeled. This is very dangerous - they are doing construction so 2 elevators were closed due to this. A third one stopped working while we were there… so there was just 1 elevator for the whole resort. Long wait times for the elevator. - the AC did not appear to work in the gym Overall we loved our stay and would definitely return.

So I stayed here, ZERO STARS DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY SO I didn’t want a “party” hotel with music all night etc, thought this would be a happy medium as they make it seem by there description…. They had no music, no nothing they had one event sushi making at lunch!! That’s the only event they held pools closed by 9 not nearly enough seats by the pool maybe 50 chairs there tops. what they don’t tell you, adult only bar/pool closes at 5 and swim up bar closes at 7, and there doing pool chemicals by 9 so can’t swim there, main bar is open till 10 or 11 but huge line, takes about 15 min to get drink, restaurant you HAVE to book an appointment to eat even if there empty, and tried all 3 for dinner and got RAW CHICKEN at all 3, room service foods pretty good, takes about 1 hr minimum for it to arrive, and they tap on the door I mean “tap” ONCE (you can’t even hear over the TV) then if you don’t open it they walk away and you have to re-order, it’s a complete joke, had to get a new room, (we stayed on the 9th floor penthouse) because there was ANTS all over the walls everywhere, they gave me a new room after I demanded one, they kept saying they’ll clean it then it’ll be fine, I’m on vacation I just paid $5000 for and there trying to tell me to suck it up, after arguing I got a new room but it’s all a complete joke, DONT waste your money on the penthouse, just get a king size regular room, ONLY difference is same size room/bathroom etc penthouse is just top floor and 20 ft ceilings

Staff was excellent and attentive. Some staff remembered guest names and their favorite drink. Great breakfast options. The mariscos restaurant was excellent. The Asian restaurant was ok, but not what I’m used to. The Italian place was also ok - not the best. The Mexican restaurant was disappointing. The food should be the best since we are in Mexico. I had better Mexican food outside of the hotel. However, overall I was happy with the hotel and all inclusive experience because of the staff and the different options.

Positives: Food quality is good, beach and swimming is good. Rooms are nice. Short ride from the airport. Negatives: 1 bartender at the only open bar all day (waiting too long), Not enough chairs at pool. Buffet was closed on Monday night and all 3 restaurants were biiked until 9:30pm. Buffet in an all inclusive should be open everyday. Buffet dinner was lacking.

I wouldn’t stay here again!!! The rooms are very outdated, nothing like the pictures online. There was no hot/ warm water to shower with. You have to make reservations for the restaurants and when you show up they give you different run arounds. We booked at the Italian restaurant for 5:30, when we show up they say it opens until 6 and that it’s a buffet. They said no pool attire at restaurants (which is understandable… they told me to change) and when we showed up again there were people in bathing suits. Food isn’t that great. They offered us a membership for $8750 which includes a discounted rate for hotels/resorts around the world for 5 years. Because we declined the membership, the staff got upset and started giving us attitude!!! The only staff that was respectful and did an amazing job were the maintenance/ cleaning ladies, they were great!! There are better resorts available in puerto Vallarta, don’t stay here!!! For the amount of money we paid I would’ve assumed better services/ amenities but that wasn’t the case.
