Room was mad every day, shops around

The staff was very friendly. Room was small but very clean. Very simple.

Good location with nice swimming pool surrounded by trees, where you can see monkeys, toucan etc. Rooms are a bit outdated with old shower cap and old airco (not very effective by 35 degrees outside). Breakfast was good, but no coffee or tea is included - for cup of coffee or tea you have to pay 2,5 USD and for extra slice of bread - 1,5 USD.

The grounds are stunning, one afternoon we saw monkeys swinging through the trees behind the pool. The rooms are so-so, certainly not a "romantic" hotel with families and hikers, and travel groups going through, most banging their doors as they came and went. No fridge, no microwave, no coffee maker, no shampoo or even bath soap. Hard (bug huge) bed and flat pillows. The door knob kept falling off, so hubby pulled out a screw driver and fixed it himself. The a/c worked great and was sorely needed. The bathroom (while clean) always smelled of urine. The location is great with everything from food to the bus stop, to the beach, and the national park. But the hotel entrance is also about 50 feet from the only main road, so that also brings a lot of noise from motorcycles, busses and trucks, round the clock. For the dollar, we didn't feel like it was worth it and wouldn't return.
