Located in a quiet area, pool was clean and welcoming. The room was adequate. There were two single beds in the second bedroom but walking and suitcase space was limited due to a spare folding bed stored in the room. Bedrooms were smaller than expected but beds were comfortable. We would have liked the bedding changed more frequently on a long stay- this was discussed with staff and rectified but the delay should not have happened.

The cooling inverter on our balcony made that space unusable- a shame as it had a beautiful view. The cleaning appeared to be cursory- coffee stains on the trash cans, corners not clean. Nice location and very comfortable unit.

The location was excellent and value for money also good, and for those reasons we would stay here again. HOWEVER, the room was very 'tired' and definately needs some updating, we booked a King size bed and there was only a queen in the room, the bathroom cupboard areas had mildew/dirt on them (needed cleaning).

Property is in need of upgrade and a good clean. Shower/bath had mould, there were bugs in the bed and carpet was dirty. Would not stay here again.

Staff friendly, location good. Unit and furniture is aged and worn. Unit generally not clean. Mould on our bedding linen. Thick heavy dust/dirt on windows to patio. Hair on bath tiles near the taps. No product in the hand soap and conditioner tubs. Air conditioner in main bedroom very loud. We did not bother asking for a new room - zero vacancy across the city for the long weekend. Disappointed the Wotif description does not match the reality.

Property’s 4 star rating was fair. Somewhat dated but clean and with all I needed for an overnight stay. Somewhat noisy large group towards front of building but I had a room facing the other way and slept well: a consequence of no staff on site overnight? I missed reception butit was easy to pick up key and reach my room, with friendly emails from the property.

Manager very welcoming offered other items on hand umbrella/chairs. Our room was ready. One tiny suggestion wud be to replace armchair at desk with push in stool to allow space at door entry for luggage bench

Place is good, convenient and for us easy walking distance to many place. One majeur concern is the quality of the beds. Queen bed which are make of 2x single beds and very old. Very bad sleeping quality because of this and in both room. Need new mattress asap. Other than the mattress, place if great.

We were disappointed when we arrived and learnt our room was not even on the Main Street that faces the marina. We were off the back street, obviously next to permanent residents. Our room was smelly, with old and damaged furniture. The pictures on Expedia are misleading as we had no view, we had old damaged furniture, and we were off the back road and nowhere Palmer Street.
