Upon arrival I had previously had an Injury which required ice to reduce swelling The hotel staff immediately requested an Ice pack be sent to our room which arrived Almost before we landed in our spotless Room along with a kettle we had ask for to Make tea Also the restaurant is excellent very under advertised As well the pool and exercise area is clean And well serviced

Across the street from shopping mall, 2 blocks away from high end shopping. Food at the Diva restaurant was excellent. Ramp down to parking a bit tight. Always found parking spot. Room was cleaned every day which was nice. Staff very helpful Excellent location. Beds are comfortable even the roll away bed was comfortable.

Great stay. Only complaints was the pool was too cold to thoroughly enjoy and the queen beds more like doubles. But we enjoyed it, super convenient location and friendly and accommodating staff.

It was over $600 for a hotel room for the night and it was not properly clean. There ws hair in the shower and in the folded clean towels and Qtips/ cotton swabs left under the coffee maker. There was mildew and mold around the entire perimeter of the shower ceilings. Hotel was informed they refunded parking and comped 2 coffees as compensation for an unclean room that we couldn't shower in or make coffee in for $610 a night. Working in hospitality myself im disappointed their policies dont include cleaning the room or even offering to once notified. And or offering a hotel breakfast while our room was cleaned. I worked for a 3 star vancouver hotel chain head office and our policy was to clean the room and comp breakfast while its cleaned and offer late check out, return 50% of the reservation costs or comp the entire reservation depending on severity of cleanliness issue. This hotel is a higher star rating and double the price per room. I certainly expected more for the exceedly high price tag. Staff was kind and friendly and empathetic my problem is with poor customer satisfaction hotel policy from such a massive conglomerate high end hotel chain that can definitely afford it.

Family of 4, two adults and two teens. Liked the indoor pool. Comfortable room, comfortable beds. Our room rate included in-garage parking at the hotel, which was great. We didn't touch the car during our stay, walked everywhere b/c hotel is in a good walkable location. Bathroom was spacious and super clean, housekeeping and front desk staff friendly and helpful.

Ideally central located Hotel with easy walking to many of the cities atteractions. Staff very helpful. Hotel and room clean although found it strange the usual robes and slippers missing from room. Coffee and tea facility present although no kettle in room as most Hotels just a basic machine. Bath and shower with good quality soaps provided usual safe in room and large comfottable bed.

The staff were great ! Was a clean room :) Diva lounge was great - food was great :) Parking was good and Easy . Very central for getting around :) The one thing, it was noisy at night, not very sound proof. Its an older hotel, bathroom needs to be updated ! I would stay again :)

Although I was there for only one night, flew in one day and out the next, the service was absolutely impeccable at the front desk, the room was more than I expected it was very nice and comfortable. I had dinner at the diva, the restaurant in the hotel and the food was very very good, and the service impeccable there as well. The front desk called a taxi for me when I needed it and the taxi arrived within one to two minutes. I would highly recommend this hotel. Plus for shoppers, it is across the street from a great shopping mall.

It was an average stay, hotel room had decent space, no problems at check-in or check out - just seemed a lot of money for an average hotel- I wouldn’t give it 4 stars. Good location in heart of downtown Vancouver and it took 14 mins to walk from cruise port to hotel so very doable.

It is a pet peeve of mine when hotels have a big bathtub and a tiny shower stall. What a colossal waste of space. Especially when the shower head is set less than 6' from the ground. Additionally the shower stall has a top brace for the door that is about 5'10" so as you step out you whack the top of your head on it. If you are a tall person you will hate the bathrooms at this hotel as I did. Whoever designed this bathroom should be convicted of negligence.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as warm and welcome as possible with a very accommodating staff in the lobby. They even took the time to go the extra mile for my girlfriend’s birthday. With rose peddles, flowers, champagne and a breath taking view of the city, it was an unforgettable stay. Would recommend 100 percent for an enjoyable experience!!!! 10/10

They made our stay in Vancouver that much more enjoyable and relaxing with tips for navigating the city, places to eat, and a lovely bottle of champagne sent to our room when they discovered it was our anniversary.

We enjoyed our stay here. Staff, especially the bell and maintenance staff, were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable but pretty basic. The lobby area was small, as were the pool and fitness room. The hotel photos make it look a lot larger.

Mavan and the desk staff are top notch! I was traveling by myself in another country and I called the hotel from the airport to see if it was safe for me to ride the train downtown. They gave me the instructions on how to do so and I rode the train by myself, at night. The walk from the train station to the hotel is about 1 to 2 minutes and it was very safe. My check-in was wonderful and Mavan was really attentive to my needs. I also appreciated the doorman as I came in and out over the next few days, and he made me feel so special because he always rushed to make sure I was taken care of. It was a fantastic day, and a great location, right across the street from the underground mall, five minute walk from the waterfront, five minute walk to other parts of downtown and I will definitely stay here again!

If you book here, do it direct, not through Expedia. My stay cost $5987.93 and any time I asked about anything their response was “sorry sir, you booked through a 3rd party.” I couldn’t even get my Bonvoy points. I had to request a new shower curtain as the one in the bathroom actually smelled so musty, the pooper needs 2-3 flushes if you don’t just use it for a number 1. God forbid you blow your nose and throw the tissue in the toilet, 2 flushes to get an empty bowl, and I had to ask for the watered down shampoo (that actually squirts across the bathroom it’s so watered down) to be filled twice before it actually got done. Surprised they didn’t say it was because I booked through Expedia. All that being said, other than the guy at checkout, the hotel staff were quite nice and very helpful. The Concierge Gentlemen were all absolutely fantastic. The property is old, it shows its age. The gym is very basic and the equipment is not current or well maintained. I’d certainly recommend looking at other properties before booking here.

Close to everything City center right downtown. 1/2 block to Vancouver Art Gallery, 1 block to financial district, 1.5 blocks to Vancouver Center sky train. Pacific Center mall right across the street. This hotel is right next to The Georgia hotel. The hotel is kept very clean, good comfy beds, swimming pool & sauna & gym, restaurant & bar on site. Nice friendly staff.

We stayed there before and after an Alaskan cruise and it’s an easy walk from Canada Place. The staff were super helpful with moving and storing our luggage on both ends of the trip. Its location is great for exploring the city being close to the Canada line with transfer to the airport.

I had a great experience at the Metropolitan Hotel in Vancouver and would gladly give it a 5-star rating. While the view from my room wasn't anything special and the balcony was on the smaller side, those weren’t important factors for me. What really stood out was the overall comfort, cleanliness, and excellent service. The hotel is in a fantastic location—conveniently situated downtown with an entrance directly across from a shopping mall, which made exploring the area incredibly easy. So many of Vancouver’s main attractions are within walking distance, and there are plenty of great dining options nearby if you want to venture out. The staff were professional and helpful, and the room had everything I needed for a relaxing and hassle-free stay. All in all, a solid choice if you're visiting the city and want a comfortable base in a very walkable, central area. I’d absolutely stay again.

We love the convenience of the hotel as we like to take the Hullo ferry from Nanaimo. It’s only a few minutes walk up the hill from the harbor.. if we’re going to see a hockey game it’s also walking distance to Rogers Arena. I love having a swim in the lap pool in the morning and then having breakfast with their awesome smashed potatoes. Pacific Centre is right across the street so if you need to do some shopping, it’s super convenient. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for one night before a cruise. Very comfortable beds, pretty basic room you can elk it’s an older property but clean. Breakfast gave both my friend and I stomach problems. I think it was whatever the potatoes were fried in. Took my friend 3 days to get over it. I was ok the next day.

La struttura e' piuttosto in linea con la catena e il costo devo pero' segnalare due note negative rispetto alla colazione e al ristorante Diva all'interno 1. Mancanza di Disponibilita' la prima mattina siamo arrivati alle 1035 reduci da 18 ore passate in aeroporto a toronto ad aspettare che lo sciopero air canada finisse abbiamo chiesto almeno una frutta per il bambino sono stati inflessibili non avevano nulla ovviamente colazione pagata inutilmente 2. Secondo giorno cioe' il 21 arriviamo puntuali ma scopriamo che essendo a menu non c'e nulla che va bene per noi chiedo del miele insieme al toast e una sgarbatissima cameriera mi dice che non c'e possibilita' di avere nulla di diverso no miele no nutella no marnellata anzi aggiunge che l'unica cosa che avevo ordinato un espresso era a pagamento e prima ancora del caffe mi porta il conto... senza parole... ho pagato 4 colazioni per dover andare all'ottima gelateria appena si esce a sinistra a fare colazione... non voglio generalizzare ma la persona di mezza eta' donna che serviva ai tavoli il 21 mattina era davvero inaccettabile per un albergo costoso come il metropolitan

Dom at check in at the Met set the tone for an incredible stay. He was warm, engaging and explained everything we needed to know for our stay. We also loved our experience at Diva. The food was amazing and the service seamless. One of the best lattes we had in the city. Not to be missed.
