We had a fantastic 5-star stay at the Sheraton Zagreb. The location is excellent—just a short 10-minute walk to Ban Jelačić Square, making it easy to explore the heart of the city. The hotel offers great amenities; we especially enjoyed the indoor swimming pool, gym, and spa area, all of which were well-maintained and relaxing. We also opted for the breakfast buffet, which was both convenient and offered a nice variety of options. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We liked it so much that we booked another night for the day before our departure back to the U.S. Would absolutely stay here again!

An immaculate modern comfortable hotel a 5 min walk to the center of the city, trains & buses with impeccable service at an incredible good price. Maja at the front desk was fantastic as were both drivers the hotel arranged to take us to and from the airport. Great gym, pool, buffet breakfast. I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else in the future.

Everything good but rooms already a bit old. For a five star hotel it should be a must of having Electric Car Charger in the garage. Outside are some but always full having no chance to charge.

Muito bem localizado, quarto amplo, camas confortáveis, bom chuveiro e bons amenities. A piscina coberta é ótima e a academia é de primeira, nem parece academia de hotel. O café da manhã é bem farto, e é o melhor que estive na Europa. Recomendo fortemente para todos.

Il personale non era molto cortese, i cuscini erano pessimi, la "pulizia" camera fa solo il letto perché non hanno cambiato neanche le tazze che abbiamo utilizzato. Poi la luce di entrata della camera non si spegneva, ci hanno detto che mandavano qualcuno a sistemare e nessuno è venuto. La colazione era buona e abbondante e la struttura era in una buona location.

De hotelkamer rook sterk naar dierenurine en het tapijt was oud en onfris. Het zou beter zijn als het hotel erop let welke gasten met huisdieren verblijven en die kamers apart aanbiedt. Gasten zonder huisdieren zouden een frisse en schone kamer moeten krijgen, in plaats van een kamer die duidelijk door dieren is gebruikt.

The hotel is clean and located relatively close to the center. The breakfast is varied and delicious, which is an advantage. A big disadvantage is the parking, which, although it has many places, has a very high rate: 20 euros per day or 2 euros per hour. In the vicinity of the hotel, parking costs 13 euros per day. We asked the Sheraton hotel staff about the rates in the city before we parked there and were told that they are uniform everywhere, which does not seem like an honest explanation. There are other hotels that offer similar conditions at more affordable prices, have parking included or cheaper and are even better positioned. It would be ideal if the reception staff paid more attention to the needs of the customers. I must mention that we have extensive experience in the tourism industry.

Das zimmer war alt und duschraum war teilweise kaputt. Ein behälter mit medizin wurde beim putzen weggeschmissen. Teppichboden ist auch nicht mehr standard. Fenster waren schmutzig und blicken auf alte gebauden.

We stayed for two nights—Thursday and Friday. The room was good, with a clean bathroom and a firm mattress. The hotel staff also helped with our medical needs. The first night went really well. However, our room was located directly above a night club, and we felt vibrations from the throbbing bass sounds until 4:00 a.m. on Friday night / Saturday morning. We called the front desk, but they said there was nothing they could do. It seems the building is shared with multiple businesses. I also mentioned this upon check-out, but I received a very mechanical apology, and the staff member told me she would inform the landlord. If they were already aware of this issue, the hotel should not have assigned that room—especially for a Friday night. If anyone stays at this hotel on a weekend, make sure your room is not above the club.

In dem Gebäude des Sheraton in Zagreb ist ein Nachtclub und dieser hatte die Nacht der lauten Bässe. Die Musik war so laut, dass ich nicht schlafen konnte. Um 2400 habe ich dann über Telefon die Guest Hotline oder wie immer das heißt angerufen. Da habe ich dann einen Mitarbeiter des Hotels erreicht und ihn gebeten, für Ruhe zu sorgen, da es Mitternacht ist und ich irgendwann schlafen möchte. Dort erfuhr ich, dass die lauten Bässe und das Geschrei von einem in dem Gebäude beindlichen Nachtclub stammen und sie nichts machen können. Der Mitarbeiter machte keinen Vorschlag und wirkte absolut uninteressiert. Um 0300 morgens ging ich dann zur Rezeption. Die Mitarbeiter dort waren freundlicher und boten mir ein anderes Zimmer an, aber es war schon 0300 und um 0600 musste ich bereits wieder aufstehen - also habe ich in der Nacht in einem angeblichen 5 Sterne Hotel 2 Stunden geschlafen. Bei Abreise habe ich mit einer sehr netten Managerin des Hotels gesprochen. Sie konnte mir aber auch nicht erklären, warum ich den Raum über der Tanzfläche bekommen habe, wenn andere Räume frei sind und das Problem bekannt. Oder warum mir um Mitternacht nicht schon ein anderer Raum angeboten wurde? Ich war jahrelanger Sheraton Stammkunde überall auf der Welt, aber das Sheraton in Zagreb hat mir die Illusion einer vertrauenswürdigen Hotelkette genommen. Für mich das mit Abstand schlechteste Hotel, in dem ich in den letzten 10 Jahren war. Absolut keine Empfehlung und den Preis nicht wert.

Fantastic location - within walking distance of everything that you'll want to see within Zagreb. Hotel was clean and updated, however, the room that we got was one of the few that weren't updated. Still, it was clean, spacious and comfortable.

Negative; The staff/front desk response was terrible. Calling from room to front desk was rarely picked up. Complementary coffee was not provided everyday. The view from our room (2nd floor, last room on the left) was unpleasant. Positive: the female employee working at the concierge desk was very helpful. Sheraton could be better.

They don’t have enough staff on reception. Initially one person at checkout time. Who was a trainee. Check in wasn’t much better. We had to ask the concierge to get more staff out. Then they kept coming and going, doing nothing for another 5 minutes. Also couldn’t get laundry done on a Tuesday.

We had a 1 night stay in this luxury hotel. The room was spacious and lucurious. A nice swimming pool and a sauna. The breakfast is outstanding compared to others. The hotel is enormous and accepts tourbuses. As a result, the breakfast room can be hectic. Go early.

Nice sauna and pool area and practically empty. Breakfast service could be better. Most people don't know they can order from the menu because menus are not freely given. We had to ask for one every morning. There was a leak in our bathroom (from the ceiling) for 2 days and finally on the second day we were given another room. All in all we would come back for the pool. But Hotel Esplanade is still nicer and has better service.
