The stay is pleasant because of the helpful staff. The room needs renovation as the air conditioning has knocking sounds. It's clean and the facilities are acceptable with kettle and coffee/ tea. The location is excellent.

Great location, very quiet area nestled between two parks. Rooms are spacious and clean. The gym was great with a view to the Trinity church. However, my daughter slept on an additional bed which was screeched every time she turned. Air conditioning in the room was loud. It was annoying that power sockets are located near the bathroom. It was a challenge to charge our phones & gadgets. Otherwise I would book this hotel again but maybe upgrade to a better room.

Excellent location. Close to old town, between two parks. Own underground parking garage beneath the hotel. Also the gym and sauna were nice addition to our stay. Ok breakfast.

Experience was great! Service,facility,location very very good. One thing that did not work -not depending on the hotel- was my communicstion about carage. I sent message from Hotels.com 2 days before arrival and it did not reach the hotel. Hotel took care of it very well!

Customer service from front desk was very good. Facility is somewhat dated, corporate-like, and impersonal.

The suite is very spatious and comfortable, perfect for a family or 5 like ours, and the hotel perfectly located in the heart of riga. Very nice staff, great breakfast, too bad we couldn't try the spa/sauna, maybe next time!

Das Hotel versprüht einen seltsamen Charme aus vergangener, sozialistischer Zeit. Die Einrichtung war teilweise etwas an- und abgestoßen, die WC-Spülung war mit Sorgsamkeit zu bedienen, die Sauberkeit des Zimmers war tadellos, allerdings ist das Konzept der „Grünen Hotellerie“ fragwürdig und für den Gast unangenehm, mit schlechtem Klima-Gewissen um Zimmerreinigung aktiv nachfragen zu müssen. Das Frühstücksbüffet war in Ordnung, der Kaffee war leider nur mittelmäßig. Das Management sollte überdenken, ob Gäste in Badepantoffeln und Schlafanzughose in den Frühstücksraum gehören. Weiterhin Appetit mindernd am Morgen war das Outfit eines Servicemitarbeiters, der mit seinem unansehnlichen Stil besser in einer Aufgabe ohne Kundenkontakt eingesetzt werden sollte, zumal das Engagement und Freundlichkeit zu wünschen ließen. Als auffällig fähige und fleißige Mitarbeiterin fiel uns die Rezeptionistin Anna auf, die für dieses Hotel sicher ein wahres Juwel von Kundenorientierung, Einsatzfreude und Kompetenz ist. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, besonders für Besuche der Oper ein kurzer Fußweg. Vom Flughafen ist das Hotel ca 50 Busminuten und die Bussation ca 15 Gehminuten entfernt.

Slecht bed, veel te klein dekbed voor 2 personen en ook niet warm genoeg. Kleine kamer met stinkende badkamer en veel schimmelplekken in de douche. Geen aanrader

Hotellet er ok men meget slidt. Gulvet på værelset bulede op og gulvtæpperne så beskidte ud.

Room was not cleaned propertly upon our arrival, things from other guests were on the minibar. During the week cleanning service was not good. Bathroom was not cleaned well and same with the room.

Zimmer war okay, die Dame am Empfang hat uns nicht gesagt das der TV nicht funktioniert und meinte Sie schickt jemanden, am nächsten Tag erfuhr ich das es komplett defekt war und Sie hätte mir das sagen können, das Zimmer war okay, Duschkopf war sehr alt und abgenutzt, Staub auf dem Zimmer -

Dejligt stille hotel, med diskret og høfligt personale. Fremragende rengøring, te, kaffe, kedel, kopper, glas og køleskab på værelses. God morgenmadsbuffet, hvor der også var mørkt brød. Personligt var personalet lidt for hurtige til at fjerne brugt service fra bordet under morgenmaden.

Siamo stati ospiti in 8, 4 adulti e 4 bambini. Colazione top, camere totalmente insonorizzate. I bambini si sono divertiti e si sono sempre sentiti accolti. Il ristorante dell’hotel credo sia molto più attivo in periodi di vacanza (giugno/luglio/agosto) a fine aprile non era operativo. Hotel consigliato al 100% anche per la posizione. Fantastico!

Room was cold and no hot water

Overall an extremely pleasant and enjoyable stay. Even though decor seems to be elegance from an older era both in rooms and hotel overall, it still is very well maintained and clean. It also has a quiet atmosphere as soon as you enter. Staff are very professional and accessible at all times. Also helpful and courteous. It is also in a very convenient location about 10 mins from old town, and still walking distance to key sites around the city. Even though central, the area is quiet and safe.Check-in was straightforward and the keys actually worked without having to be re-programmed. The rooms are huge but only had one armchair and desk chair, and bathrooms gave you the option of both shower or shower/tub. The air conditioner also worked. The beds/pillows are comfortable but the pillows and duvet are feather down for those who are allergic. The only fault we found was cleaners had missed a spot on the coffee table, But otherwise all else passed the white glove test. Breakfast was very good with good buffet selection of different cheeses, hams, fish, cooked eggs in different styles, fruit, desert and bakery, yogurt and cereals. Also different juices. The Wi-Fi worked quite well, but does boot you out after a certain period. So you have to reconnect once it appears to be slowing down. If you’re not really fussed about brand new modern decor, this hotel is really very pleasant in terms of stay, location, and price especially regarding room size.

Good location next to old town, but the hotel is very old and requires renovation. There is a ot of flies in the room and the safe was not working, we asked for replacement but it was mot replaced

Tyvärr ett hotell med dålig service, ingen städning av rummen. Vi var fyra som bodde i en svit, behövde påpeka om fler handdukar, schampoo, toapapper mm.

The staff was very friendly and helpful - lovely girl at the bar (sorry, didn't know the name) was amazing, very friendly and double checked if the drink was made right. Thank you. The room was lovely, very comfortable. The only negative note would be about the little bottles in the bathroom (shampoos and such) - some of them were half-full. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Everything great and I'll certainly repeat in upcoming trips. The attention provided by Anna and Stanislav was awesome, plus Dana the manager proved to be a great professional making sure every guest was totally pleased.

Excellent stay at this hotel. Reasonable sized room and bathroom. Only downside was advised on check in that breakfast was €15 per day which we booked. 4 days later we were charged €20 per day.
