Excellent séjour au Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga qui a dépassé mes attentes. Un grand merci à Émilie à la réception pour son accueil, son professionnalisme et sa gentillesse. Le spa est parfait pour se détendre. Excellent petit-déjeuner. Personnel très à l'écoute. Petit bémol: les cocktails du bar du rooftop, bien que raffinés, étaient trop "fades" à mon goût (Passion Colada). Le barman a bien fait son travail en nous expliquant la conception longue durée du cocktail et en nous en proposant un autre.

Rooms were large, well appointed, and with great black-out curtains. But the best part was the spa - I've never been to a nicer hotel spa. Two dry saunas, one steam room, cold plunge, pool, hot tub...All first class. Really a great place.

Could not fault this hotel. Came for a 3- night stay with my husband as we had never been to Riga before. This hotel made our trip. It is perfectly located, in walking distance to everything, clean and warm. The spa is outstanding - the pool is heated to around 31 degrees which is lovely. The sauna, gym, steam room etc sew so immaculate (look new) and largely empty. Rooms are spacious and really well equipped - no niggles (enough coathangers, plugs and mirrors in the right places, tea and coffee etc, usb ports - all well thought out). Service was also impeccable and the breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Fine grand hotel style with good sized rooms and bathrooms. Staff helpful and friendly. Lobby bar a disappointment as feels more of a lobby than a bar space. Rooftop bar produced excellent cocktails but seems keener to be set up as a restaurant- bar seating options minimal. Excellent pool and spa

Magnificent hotel in the middle of Riga, easy access to all sights and just a 30 minute ride from the airport. Lovely spa area, excellent restaurants and a roof top terrace and sky bar. Would love to come back!

This is an amazing hotel with wonderful staff. We had a Deluxe Room with Park View for 3 nights. The room was large, with a vestibule and sitting area with a couch and also had a large bathroom. It was impeccably clean and well appointed, and included turn down service each evening. The lobby is big and beautiful and the included breakfast had a huge variety of dishes to meet just about anyone's needs. The location is perfect, sitting at the edge in the Old Town, making everything walkable. Some street noise could occasionally be heard (from 5th floor) but pretty quite otherwise. Ordered room service one night and was surprised at the relatively reasonable prices. Booked a massage one day and paid €125 for 80 min massage (less than would cost in California.) The staff were very friendly and all spoke English. The stay was worth the cost for the level of luxury and service. I would recommend if you want to treat yourself to a relaxing stay with all the amenities.

Generelt set et godt hotel og de fleste almindelige ting fungerede. Der er imidlertid tale om et tophotel, hvor man bør kunne forvente at også detaljerne er i orden. Det er de desværre ikke. Vi havde bestilt et dobbeltværelse, og kunne i bekræftelsen se, at der var booket et twinværelse, med to enkeltsenge. Jeg havde derfor rettet henvendelse forud og fået skriftlig tilbagemelding på, at dette ville blive rettet - det var det så ikke. Det blev rettet ved påtale, men kommunikationen var altså gået tabt. Minibaren blev ikke genopfyldt trods flere påtaler. Rengøringen på badeværelset var mangelfuld, der blev ikke genopfyldt produkter og dette måtte påtales. Der var ikke koordination mellem mad- og vintjener i restauranten, hvilket medførte at maden blev serveret før vinen til retterne.Hotellet tilbød skopudsning ved at man sætter sine sko udenfor værelset, dette forsøgte vi, men skoene blev trods dette ikke pudset. Ved påtale fik vi dem pudset. Hotellet tilbød aftenopredning, ifm. Nytårsaften havde vi booket bord på hotellets restaurant til kl. 19.00 - da vi skulle afsted var der en meddelelse på døren til værelset om at det desværre ikke havde været muligt at lave aftenopredning, da vi så kom tilbage til værelset, var dette alligevel sket. Dette tyder på manglende kommunikation, da personalet jo udemærket vidste at vi skulle i restauranten. Alt i alt et ok ophold, men alt for mange små svipsere til et hotel af den standard. Desværre.

Rooms were very nice and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was really good and the women working each morning were extremely friendly and helpful. Check-in at the front desk was very good and was able to get into my room early which was very appreciated. However, after my check-in, the women at the front desk were not the friendliest which was a bit annoying. Overall recommend the hotel though in Riga

This is one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed at. I was immediately greeted and offered a libation, checked in and taken to my room. All the hallways and lobby areas are large and spacious. My room was shielded from noise outside and inside. The food and food service was excellent. The twenty four hour room service was great. I had a fantastic club sandwich among other items.
